“What?” Chanyeol groaned as he dragged himself to open his apartment door after a few torturous knock on the poor white painted door. 

As he opened his door, he spotted a small petite brunette standing in front of his apartment door with wide eyed and a very shocking expression. 

Both of them looked at each other without uttering a single word.

“Well, if you are here to sell cookies, I’m not buying it.” Chanyeol said in attempt to break the silence moment.

The small boy seems flustered for a moment.

“Okay, probably if you have a chocolate flavor, I might consider buying a box or two.” Chanyeol said in order to have the boy in front of him to say something. 

Instead of having the small boy say ‘Yes, we do have chocolate flavor’ he was actually taken aback by the smaller boy question. 

“You can see me?” 

Chanyeol blinked his eyes a few times.

“Dude, I'm not in a mood for a joke right now.” 

“No, seriously. Can you see me?” 

“Listen kid, I-“

“Chanyeol?” 

Both of then turn to the side and saw Mrs. Kim, Chanyeol's neighbor, was looking at him with a frowned on her face.

“Good morning, Mrs. Kim.” Chanyeol greeted happily. 

“Who are you talking to?” Mrs. Kim asked curiously. 

“Huh?” Chanyeol said dumbly.

He looked at the smaller boy in front of him, who was fidgeting with the hem of his blue jacket then he turned to look at Mrs. Kim who was still eyeing him suspiciously. 

Fortunately, Chanyeol was holding his phone at that time. He lifted the phone and showed it to Mrs. Kim. 

“Oh, sorry to disturb you.” Mrs. Kim smiled sheepishly. 

Chanyeol just shook his head and showed off his toothy grin.

Mrs. Kim  was about to go back inside, but she turned to look at Chanyeol with a questioning look on her face.

“Did anyone happen to knock on your door?” 

Chanyeol hesitated and he didn't trust his voice so he just shook his head. 

“Must be those naughty kids. They knock on the door and by the time I open it, there was no one in sight.” 

Chanyeol awkwardly shrugged and Mrs. Kim sighed before she went back inside. 

After Chanyeol was sure that Mrs. Kim was lost from his sight, he shifted his gaze to the nervous boy in front of him. 

“What are you?” Chanyeol asked. 

“M-my na-name is Ba-Baekhyun.” 

Chanyeol still had his gaze fix on the latter as if urging the boy to continue. Luckily the boy got the signal. 

“I was curse.”
