The date went better than expected.

They went out to dinner and a movie which seemed simple, but they both didn’t mind after the chaos that ensued back at the apartment.

“Why was everyone in your apartment?”

“How did your friend break my demon neighbor’s heart? I didn’t even realize he had one to begin with.”

“It’s a long story and Cheol never told me much of it. All I know is that they both have quick tempers and stubborn attitudes.”

“I don’t know your friend, but that definitely sounds like Lee Jihoon. I honestly hope my apartment is still in one piece.”

“If it’s burnt to the ground you can always come live with me.”

Mingyu faked a shocked expression, “Mr. Jeon this is so sudden. At least buy me dinner first.”

“Technically I could’ve if you hadn’t insisted on paying for it yourself,” Wonwoo muttered bitterly.

“You can pay next time if you really want to.”

Wonwoo was shocked. Next time? Mingyu actually wanted to go on another date with him?

Mingyu chuckled when he noticed Wonwoo’s confused state. He walked over to the shorter man and placed his hands on his shoulders. He leaned in a bit so Wonwoo could see the sincerity in his eyes.

“Hey, um, I hate to interrupt your ‘lovely reunion’, but I’m kind of trying to make this night really romantic and sweet and your conversation is dampening the mood.” Mingyu stated.

“Not a cry baby.” He muttered making Wonwoo giggle.
