High school was stupid. Lee Jihoon didn’t need any upperclassmen to tell him that. Yet there he was, on the last Saturday of summer vacation, sitting in a classroom while some pretty boy went on and on about how high school was ‘the time of your life’ and how you ‘have so much fun you never want to leave’ and blah blah blah. Nothing but bull if you asked him. At least they weren’t making him introduce himself to the other people in the room.

“Well, that’s enough of me talking. I think we should all go around and introduce ourselves. Something simple like your name and something interesting about you.”

Silence.

“Okay, I’ll go! My name is Yoon Jeonghan and something interesting about me is that my nickname is Angel since my birthday is October 4th. Who’s next?”

More silence. A few seconds passed before another pretty boy spoke up.

“They must still be shy. Why don’t we introduce ourselves and then pass it on to them? I’ll go next, Hi! I’m Hong Jisoo. I was born in America, but I moved here last year. Something interesting about me is that I play guitar.”

“That’s like two interesting facts, Jisoo. We only needed one.” Said another boy. Jihoon hadn’t noticed him before since he was quietly lurking in the back. He wasn’t necessarily a pretty boy like the other two, but he wasn’t hard to look at either. Personally, Jihoon found him VERY easy to look at.

“That’s because he’s an interesting person Seungcheol. Now shut up and introduce yourself to our new friends.”

Jihoon tried to hold back his laughter. Maybe Jeonghan wasn’t so bad.

Seungcheol sighed and turned toward the group of freshman, “Choi Seungcheol, black belt in taekwondo.”

Oh no, he’s hot.

“Me too!” the kid sitting next to Jihoon suddenly jumped and screamed.

“And what’s your name?” Jeonghan prompted.

“Oh, I’m Kwon Soonyoung,” he responded cheerfully.

“Who’s next?”

“Wonwoo wants to go!” Seungcheol yelled looking at the boy behind Jihoon.

“I’m Jeon Wonwoo and I like reading,” he said very quickly.

“He’s also scared of dogs!”
