jessica's pov

after  leaving  kimi's office  i  go  to home  as i  am  not  in the  mood  of  hanging  out  with  friends  .  i    reach home  but   it  feel  empty  without  kimi ,  after  knowing  her  routine  i  was  a  little  shocked  because  somehow  by  looking  at  her  how  she  was  behaving  at the  dinner  on  the  first  day  ,  i  heard   about  her  achivements  and  its   not  that  easy  to achieve  that  in at  this  age .  i  think  i a  vacation  for  her  will  be  good idea  at least  she  will  rest  .  but  it  will  not  be   easy  to  convince  her  to  take  one  week  break  but  it  will  not  hurt  to  try  right! . i  was  thinking ways  to  convince  her  but  my  phone  rang  it  was mom's  call

'' hello ,  mom  ''  i  said  ,  oh  !  how  much i  miss  you  mom

''  mom  is  fine  ,  sooyeon-ah  ,  but   how  are  you  and  amy  i  hope  you  are  not  killing her with  your  icy glares  ,  have mercy  on that poor  child  sooyeon ''  mom  said  ,

'' mommmmm!!!  we  both  are  fine  and  amy is  in office  probably  will  be home in  an hour  ''  i  said 

'' take good  care  of  amy  , sooyoen that  child  have  suffer  many  things  in  her  life  ''  she said ,  what  does  she  mean by that  

''  i  will  mom  ,  so why  you  call  mom  anything  special ''  i  ask

''  can i  not  call  my  own  daughter  but  i  want  you  and  amy  to  came  here  for  dinner  ''  she said 

''  ok  , mom  as  you wish  , we  will be  there ''  i  said , and  hung up  the  call.  right  after  i  call amy  that  mom has  invited  us  for  dinner  but  she  was not  picking up  the call  .  after  trying  few  minutes  she  pick up

''  kimi ,  why  are you  not  picking  up the  call  ''  i  said 

''  nothing  sooyoen  i  was  reading  some  files  , that's  why ''  she  said , then  i  heard   miss  kim  you  can  go  i bandage  your  wound  ,  i  got  worried  as  why  it  sounds  like  she is in the  hospital

''  kimi  are  you  fine  where  are  you ''  i  ask

''  sooyoen  i  am  coming  home  in  20  min then i  will  tell  you   okay ''  she  said 

''  ok ,  kimi  mom  and  dad  have   invited  us  for  dinner  '' i  said

''  get  ready  i  am   coming ''  she  said   and  disconnect  the call  .  i  go  to my  room  and  wear  a  white  simple  dress  to  go   for  dinner .  as  i  was getting ready  i  heard  door bell  and  i know  who  it  is  so  i  walk  to  the door  to open  .  when  i  open  the  door  i  saw  a  bandage is  wrapped  in kimi's  head  and   her white shirt   is  stained  with  the  blood

''  kimi  ''  i said  and  hug her  immediately  , and  start  checking  her 

''  kimi , what  happen  to  your  head  ,  who  hurt  you  ''  i  ask  worriely

''  sooyoen its  just  a  scratch  ''  she said   and  smile ,  how could  she  smile   when she is  hurt  

''  come  on  lets   get  you  changed and  then  take  rest , i  will  call  mom that  we  are  not  coming ''  i  said and   pull  her  to her  room

''  sooyoen ,  your  mom  will  be   upset  if we  cancel the  dinner  and  i am  fine  ,  lets  go  please  ''  she said , i  remove   her  tie  and  start  ing  her  shirt ,

''  kimi ,  you  are  injured  so  its  better  if  we  stay  home  and   we  can go  next  time  , okay ''  i  said  

''  but please  i  want  to  eat  your mom's  food  ,and  besides you  are  ready  already  ,  phease  phease  with  cherry on  the  top ''  she  said  with puppy  eyes ,  now  she  start with her   ultimate  weapon  ,  giving me  her  puppy  eyes  with  pout  ,  aah  god  why  she  have  to  be  this  adorable

'' ok  , ok  we  will  go  but  lets  change your  shirt  first ''  i  said  and  she  nodded  happily  like  a  child,  she  only  behave  dorky  and   adorable  in  front  of me .  i  help  her  change  her  clothes  and she was   looking at  me  happily  , i think  she is  used  to it  now,

after   that  i  go  to  her  closet  and  take  out  her  black blazer  ,  and  she  wear it happily 

''  kimi ,  on  weekends we   will  go  to   shopping  to  buy  you  new  clothes '' i  said 

'' why , sooyoen  i think i  have  plenty of  clothes''  she  said 

''  you  only  have  plenty  of  tux  and that  too  only  in  black  and  white ''  i said

''  so whats   wrong  with that  ''  she  ask  dumbly  ,  

''  kimi  if  i  said  we  will  go  to  shopping so we  will  go  or  else  i'' ll burn  all  your  black  tux''

''  hheee  hee  why  not  we  will  go ''  she  said 

''  good  now  lets  go  ''  i  said 

we  go  to the  parking lot   kimi  open the  for  me  and  run  to  the  her  seat  and  then  drive  to  jung mansion  

we straight  go to  the   living room where  mom  and  dad  was   sitting  on the  sofa  being lovey dovey  to  each  others ,  i  hug  kimi left arm , she  got stiff   , i just  rub her  arm  and  she  relaxed 

''  mom dad  we  are  here ''  i  said   exitiedly ,  its being  while  i  see  both  of  them ,  they  both  look at  us and  smile  but  soon it  turned into  a frown , i think  i know the  reason

''  amy  what  happen  to  your  head  ''  mom  ask 

''  its  nothing mom  just  got into  a  small  accident ''  she  said 

''  amy  u should   take  care  of  yourself  ''  dad  said 

''  its  nothing  dad  , just a  little  scratch  ''  kimi  said 

''  come on ,  lets   have  a  sit  then  talk  ''  dad  said ,  mom  smile  looking  at  us  . kimi  sit  with  dad and they  start talking about   business  ,  mom  sat  beside  me  

''  sooyoen  how  are  you  '' mom  said

''  i  am  fine  mom  as you can  see ''  i  said  and smile  looking at   kimi and  dad  bickering  with  each other   about  silly  things

''  i  am  happy  sooyoen  seeing  you  happy  with amy  ''  mom  said 

'' me  too  mom ''  i said , then  mom and   me  start  talking  about  random  things  while  kimi and   dad   still  bickering  about  golf  sticks  .  i  just  sigh  they  are  looking  like  two  kids  fighting  over  candies 

''''  now,  shut  uo  both  of  you or   no  foods  for  you  both  '' mom  said ,  both of  them   stop  their  bickering  and  look at us  innocently .

''  sooyoen  ,  go  show  amy  your  old  room  and  by  that  time  dinner  will  be  served  ''  mom  said ,  i    nod 

''  kimi  ,  lets  go  upstairs  i''ll  show  you  my  old  room''  i  said ,  she  exietedly  come  to me  and   we  both  go to  upstairs ,  

''  kimi ,  this  is  my  old  room ''  i  said  and  we  step  inside   my  old room  ,i show  her  my  old pics  and  things  but  suddenly  i remmebered  about  what  tiff  said  to  me  about  that  accident thing .

''  kimi , do  you  know there  was a  girl  in  my high school  who save me  from the  accident  but  she  got  hit instead ''  i  said  looking at  the  high  school pic  , i  notice her  shock expression  i know  she  was  the one .

''  oh oh sooyoen i think  we  need  to go  downstairs  mom is  calling us '' she said  stood  up  and  leave  the  room.

i follow  her  from behind  and   we  sat   on the  dinning table  and  start  eating ,  i  notice she  is  looking  like  she  is  about to  faint 

'' kimi  ,  what  happen  ''  i said and  mom and  dad  look at  kimi  with shock eyes. thats   when i notice  that there  is  blood  coming  out   from  kimi's bandage  wound. and  she  put  her  head in my  shoulder 

'' kimi  ,  lets  go to the  hospital  ''  i  said , 

''  come  on  ,  sooyoen  lets  take  her  to the  hospital  its  looks  like  she is  about  to faint  ''  dad  said  and  call  her driver  to  ready the   cars

''  princess  i don-n't   want  to go   hospital  ''  she  said  with  weak  voice  . my heart  sunk  seeing her  like  this  ,  but i  control my  tears   

''  kimi  but  blood  is  coming  out  from ur  wound''   i said  and  rub her  cheek with  my  palm

''  please  princess ''  she  said , i  just  sigh

''  dad  can you please  help  me  to take  her  to my  room ''  i  said , dad  carry  amy  bridal  style  and  put  her  on the  bed  gently

'' sooyoen  i have  already  call  the  doctor ,  she  will be  fine ''  dad  said  looking  at  me  ,  i  just  nod  and  sit  on the  bed  and  look  at  her,

''  sooyoen  it hurts  '' she said  holding  her  head ,  i  just  put  her  head in my  lap  and  remove  her  bandage  which is  covered  with  blood , i  got  shock  seeing   her wound  it  must  be very  painful  , tears  roll  down  from my  cheeks  and  fall on her  face 

'' princess  don't cry  i  am  not  worth it  ''  she  said  with  weak  voice 

''  pabo yah  why  didn't  you  tell  me  that  its  pretty  bad  , now  look  you  are in pain ''  i said

''  i   don't  want  to  make you  worry ''  she  said 

''  i am  your  wife  its my  job  to  worry  ''  i  said  and  scold her , i heard a  knock on the  door   ,  it  was  doctor  , the  doctor  clean  her  wound  she hissed  in  pain and  hold  my  tightly  ,  after  wrapping a new  bandage  in kimi's  head  , doctor  pull  out ine  syringe  from  her  bag  to  inject her 

''  sooyoen  please i  don't  want  injection it  hurts '' she said  with  puppy  eyes . i  sigh  , she  is  afraid  of  injection

''  is  it  necessary  doctor  ''  i ask  

'' yes mrs  kim  its  morphine she  will heal  fast  and  will  sleep   peacefully  after this  ''   doctor  said

''  kimi if you  take  it  i will  give  you  ice cream '' i said  to  her  , she  pout at  me  

''  phease  sooyeon  i  don't  wannnnnt  thaattttt '' she  said ,  mom  and  dad  laugh  looking at  her  behaving  like  a  three  year  old  kid . i  just  shook  my  head  ,  this what  happen  when she is  injured or   sick  she  will  behave  like  a  kid . i think  i have  to  do  something  else  i  give signal to  the  doctor  to  inject   when i  say  so 

''  kimi ''  i  said  and  look  at her  and  wipe her  tears ,  i  kiss her forehead  and  nod my  head  at the  doctor  to  inject , 

''  ah ah  sooyoen  kimi is  hurt ''  she said 

'' its  nothing kimi  look  now  you will be  better  ''  i  said 

'' mrs  kim  its  better  if  miss kim  take  few  days  rest  '' doctor  said 

'' no prob  doctor  we  already  planned it  so  here  it is ''  dad  said  and  hand  me  two flight  tickets  of maldives ,  i  got  happy  and  hug  my  parents.

''  thank  you  dad and mom  for  this  '' i  said 

''we  actually  wants too  give  you  after  but this  happen  , so its ok now ''  dad  said ,  i look  at  amy  who is  looking like  a  lost puppy  with her   round  eyes  i smile  and  walk  towards her

''  ok  then  you both  take  rest  ,  good night ''  my  parents  said  and  leave  us  alone .

''  sooyoen  where  is my  ice cream  you  said  you will  give  it  to  me after  i will take  shot '' kimi  said , i just  laugh  and  made her sit ,  she  put  her  head  on my  shoulder  

''  i will  give  you tommorow  ok ''  i said and  remove  her  blazer and  shirt  , she  is now in her  singlet  , i  lie  her  down  in the bed  again and  stand  to  change  my  clothes  but  kimi hug  my hand  tightly

'' kimi  let  me  change  after that  i will  come  to  you ok '' i said  ,  she  just nod weakly , i  go  to  wash room  and  change  my clothes 

''  sooyeon  come  please  kimi  is  scared  ''  she  said  , i  walk  out  of  wash  room  and  saw  a  lump  in the  bed  wrapped  in comforter ,  i smiled seeing  her  like  this  and  walk to  the  bed  and  slide  inside the  comforter . she  immediately hug  me  and  put  her  head  in the  crook  of  my  neck .

''kimi ,  don't be  scared  sooyoen  is here  ok ''i said , i think  morphine is  showing  effect  she  hug  me  tightly  and  fall  asleep . i  carresed  her face  and  see that  a  frown in her  face  

'' sooyoen i love  you but  i  can't  make  you mine  because  you will  suffer ''  she  start chanting these  words i  got  shock  and  i think its   time  to  find  out  all secrets ,  i kiss her on the  lips  and   she  respond  to  it .

''  kimi  ,  your  sooyoen is  here  and  will  not  leave  you  ''  i said
