Hara’s Point of View

What happened a while ago made me bothered. Why is Hyomin crying? And it’s like she’s arguing with Sunny. My thoughts are somehow cut since the frenemy of mine started poking my cheeks.

“Yah~ Stop that!” I said annoyed to her and slapped her finger away from my face, “Ouch! I was just trying to gain your attention since I’m so bored” she stated then started rubbing her finger,

“I’m an athlete so if I get my finger injured I wouldn’t be able to play ball sports very well!”

Bora is a really good athlete she always join a lot of sports whenever we have our intramurals in the University or if we have our sports week. But I’m also an athlete so yeah I don’t feel so proud about her.

“If you get your finger injured then it’s not my fault you’re the one who started poking my cheeks!” I snapped back at her and I could already see her annoyed face,

“Look like what I said a while ago I was just gaining your attention! There’s nothing bad there, but then you slapped my finger and it was a strong slapped!”

“Look you two stop bickering we’re in a public place”

And now even Jooyeon scolded us because of this childish person beside me, “It was her fault Jooyeon” I said and pointed to Bora, “Ohh~ Really Goo Hara? Jooyeon don’t believe her, she’s just making stories. She’s the one who started it” Bora said and gave me a glare,

“Look we really don’t care if ever who started the fight, just make sure to remember who you are and that we’re in a public place, where a lot of people could see and judge us” Nana said and then she and Jooyeon went to sleep, not even waiting for the respond we will have.

Both Jooyeon and Nana’s seats is the same row as ours that’s why they could see us very well and plus the fact that they’re juts beside us.

Then I realize that even though we’re having our vacation, our freedom, there will always be something going to control us, and in this case it’s the public. It’s always the public, they always judge us like they know us very well. And even though a lot of people wish to be in my place, I’m willing to give them my place.

Yes, I have money and fame, but what will I do with these things if I know that in this world money and fame wouldn’t last forever. Eventually when time pass by everything we have will be gone, and honestly there’s nothing in the world that would last forever.

From my peripheral vision I saw that Bora was supposed to poke my cheeks again, “If you dare continue that I will literally break your finger, and who knows I might also break your hand and arm” I threatened her and she immediately put her hand down.

“Why so suddenly you became quiet?” Bora asked and looked in my eyes directly, this is why we’re frenemies, we always bicker but whenever we feel that we need each other’s help we’re willing to help each other,

“I just realized something”

“What is it then?”

“It feels like even though we are supposed to be having our freedom we never really have it since there’s always something keeping us from doing it”
