Chapter Fifteen.
Fallen Snow: The Viper.
Hana had no idea if the button had worked, but when she heard a siren start to alarm she knew that it had triggered whatever system they had to let them know there was a bug or anything similar.
“Don’t leave my sight,” Hana said grabbing onto Yin’s hand “Whatever happens I’m not leaving you.”
“What’s going to happen now?” Yin questioned “They’re not going to let us go quickly. I’ve been here for years.”
“I don’t want to think about that right now,” Hana said looking around the room for something to use, just anything “If I do I might do something.”
“What are you looking for?” Yin frowned.
Hana released Yin’s hand and started trying to move the chairs “Something to use as a weapon,” Hana looked at the chest of draws and began pulling it out, hoping that it wasn’t fully wooden so she could break the back to use as a blunt weapon at least “Has… that always been there?” Hana looked over her shoulder at Yin.
Yin shrugged “I didn’t notice.”
It was a vent, a lot smaller than the one that she had helped Yuna, Sierra and Nina escape from but it was big enough. Hana gnawed on her lip as she pulled out her make-shift screw driver from her bra and looked at the door, she wanted to wait for her husband, her new family but the chances of Yin or her being hurt in the cross fire was too great.
“We’ll leave,” Hana said as she began unscrewing the vent “I can’t risk us being caught unarmed.”
“Through there?” Yin said with wide eyes “Hana I –”
“I know what you’re thinking,” Hana said as she flung a screw away from the vent “But this is our only option Yin. Please.”
“I… okay,” Yin nodded sternly “Alright.”
Hana pulled the vent off and sighed “I’ll go first and you stay right behind me okay? We don’t know where it leads but it’s somewhere away from
