Minseok found himself staring at the photo of Hana whilst sat in his office. He couldn’t go home and hadn’t for days. He twisted the photo over and over, Hana’s face flashing back at him. He set it down on his desk and ran his hand over his stubble.

                   He missed her, the way she smiled and laughed as well as how mischievous she would be over everything. The worst thing of all is that he couldn’t share how happy he was to learn that they were expecting but he was angry, angry that someone had taken that opportunity away from him and he had to learn the hard way.

Why was it that things always went the hard way?

“I know what you’re thinking,” Luhan said leaning against his door way “We’re going to get her back, both of them and they’ll both be okay.”

“I’m going to be a dad,” Minseok said running his index finger over the photo “And I can’t even embrace my wife and tell her how happy I am. How much I love her. How great of a parent she’s going to be because she’s not ing here!” He looked at Luhan with anger, his eyes blood shot from the lack of sleep.

Luhan sighed “I know Minseok I know and I can’t hate myself any more than I already do I shouldn’t have sent her.”

“Damn right you shouldn’t have!” The tears welled up in Minseok’s eyes which surprised Luhan “I… what if something happens to her? If someone touches her Luhan –”

Luhan moved to Minseok’s side and placed his hand on his shoulder “I refuse to believe anything like that will happen.  I swear to you Minseok I won’t let it.”
