Song #1: My Miracle

That very same night, I decided to open the player Yonghwa gave me. I was already about to sleep and I thought it was best to listen to the songs in it. It was just tempting to listen to what’s inside the player.

I put on my earphones and select the folder named “Songs for Shin”. I giggled like a fool with that name. I was also surprised to see a whopping 30 music files. I chose the first song titled “My Miracle” without even knowing that it was Yonghwa who’s singing the song. It was in English and I was not familiar with the song. Don’t tell me it’s an original composition.

As I continued listening to it, I could feel my heart throbbing. The sweetness in his voice while singing the song is just creeping through my senses. I love how calm and laid-back the melody is as if inviting me to sleep. But more than that, the lyrics has such a deep message which gives some sort of butterfly-in-my-stomach effect. I could feel the love and the way he sang it just added more flavor in it. I can’t help but fall for him deeper and deeper.

This part cuts deep into me. The lyrics was so on point with how I feel. I wanna tell him that I love him it’s just that I don’t know how to tell him just yet.

Is this Yonghwa speaking to me? I remember how he told me earlier that he’s going to wait and this line kind of relates to it. I’m drowning deeper into this song.

Soon as the song ended, my phone beeped and I checked my notification. Yonghwa was just on time to ask if I have started listening to
