Jungkook entered the room and all that he could hear was the beautiful sound of the piano playing. The music was beautiful, but it was also sad. It was heart-breaking listening to the song, especially when you knew the reason behind it all.  He just stood there listening to the music playing covering sadness through the whole room until he heard a crash and a growl. Jungkook hurriedly went to the one playing the piano – a brunette boy he knew all too well.

          When Jungkook arrived to where the brunette was, he immediately sat down next to him running soothing circles on his back when he saw the brunette covering his face clearly frustrated.

          “I can’t do this Jungkook-ah” the brunette started, his face still covered with his hands. “I can’t continue my life without her by my side. I can’t live as if I’m alright, as if I’m not missing her right now. I can’t Jungkook I just can’t” the older finished. Jungkook could only hug him when he heard the older sob. “I just miss her too much” the older whispered. The younger continued to comfort his sobbing hyung whispering words of comfort, telling him that it’s going to be alright, that everything’s going to be alright. He was too busy comforting his hyung that he didn’t notice the lone tear that fell from his eyes. But, I’m never going to be alright he wanted to say, but couldn’t.

          The man he loved ever since was right next to him, crying for the death of his twin sister. He was crying for Jeon Jiyeon. Jungkook didn’t blame his sister. He would never blame his sister. She did nothing wrong but love the same man as he did. She never knew about Jungkook’s feelings for Taehyung. And as much as he wanted to, he could never hate Jiyeon. She was kind, caring and loving. If Jungkook was ever to give up Taehyung, it would be for her. He knew that Jiyeon would never hurt Taehyung. But, he’s hurting now.

          Jungkook sighed and continued to comfort Taehyung no matter how much pain his chest was feeling right now. It doesn’t matter if I’m the one hurting, as long as Taehyung is alright. It was pathetic, yes. But Jungkook loves Taehyung too much to even care.

          When Jungkook felt that Taehyung had already calmed down, he stood up and offered his hand to the brunette. “Come on hyung, Namjoon hyung and the others are waiting for us” he said. Taehyung nodded and accepted the hand offered to him. Both boys walked hand in hand towards the cafeteria where their friends were waiting. Jungkook felt happy holding Taehyung like this as if they were together. But Jungkook knew that the older just held onto him because if he ever let go, he would break. Because Taehyung needs someone to accompany him, someone close to him, someone whom he trusts. Taehyung needs Jungkook. At least he needs me rather than not being needed at all.

          They arrived at the cafeteria and immediately searched for the others. Seokjin, their hyung who saw them first, waved his hand to signal the other two on where they were. Jungkook saw this and pulled Taehyung to the direction of their friends. Jungkook sat down at the end and Taehyung sat in between Jungkook and Jimin.

          “Taehyung-ah, have you eaten?” Jin asked in a soft mother-like tone. Taehyung lightly shook his head in reply. Before Jin could reply, Jimin immediately placed rice and different kinds of food in front of Taehyung before smiling cutely at him. “Taehyung-ah, eat lots okay? So that we can play afterwards” Jimin said still smiling. Jungkook tried so hard not to cry. They were all trying so hard to make Taehyung feel better, and it was sad that the brunette showed no traces of his alien smile on his face.

          Jungkook noticed Yoongi got up from his chair and told the others “I’m just gonna get something, I’ll be right back.” They all nodded, and went back to what they were doing. Jungkook observed what the others were doing: Jimin and Hoseok chatted with each other, Jin was too busy watching Taehyung who was just staring at his food and Namjoon was blankly staring at nothing, too deep in thought.

          “Hey, Tae, you’re not eating?” Hoseok asked Taehyung when he noticed that the younger hasn’t touched his food. The brunette looked up and saw his friends staring worriedly at him and he let out a soft “I’m not that hungry.” The others could only nod and stay silent at the brunette’s reply. Seokjin couldn’t take what was happening and said “Taehyung-ah eat, please.” Taehyung stared at the older’s pleading eyes and nodded so as not to disappoint him. A wash of relief was evident on their faces as Taehyung took his fork and fed himself a piece of meat. At least he’s eating. Jungkook thought. Even just a little.
