i think this story has gotten longer than i've imagined. (see i'm running out of space to write 'lovely' that i've even changed the photo from the previous chapter.) this is quite lengthy too just like the previous chapter. i hope i can finish this soon :D

“Wait so now you are telling us that you are seeing someone?” Soo asked in disbelief. It’s not like Fany was not so obvious. What’s unbelievable is that Fany is just admitting it now to them.

“Yes” Fany answered.

“It’s not like we’ve never asked you before.” said Yuri.

“Actually, you were so obvious.” Hyoyeon agreed.

“It’s more like we were stating a fact but you continuously denied it.” Taeyeon said.

“Yeah, so why tell us now Unnie?” Yoona asked.

“Well I kinda need your help.” Fany answered her friend’s inquiries.

“So if you didn’t need our help you would even tell us?” asked Yoona.

“I will eventually but I was not sure…” Fany explained.

“Not sure of what, Unnie?” Seohyun asked this time.

“Not sure if it was safe to tell you guys.” Fany answered.

“Yah!” Everyone protested.

“Well, I was afraid that you might steal her away or worst ruin my chances.” Said Fany

“Yah! Is that how you think of us? We won’t help you then.” Hyoyeon said dramatically.

“Mianhe that’s not what I meant. I was just afraid of losing her. Please… help me. And I just didn’t tell you all sooner because I know you guys so well. You will pester me and might even spy on me or ruin my chances.” Fany explained her side.

“What? We won’t do that?” said Yuri.

“Really? You won’t do anything to embarrass me?” Fany asked.

“Well…” Her friends said all at the same time. Well, Hyunnie was smiling at her unnies antics.

“See!”

“We can’t promise that we won’t embarrass you. We’re your friends. That’s what we do. But we promised that we will help you.” Taeyeon assured Fany.

“Yes, so tell us about this girl.” Hyoyeon encouraged.

Tiffany starts telling her friends about her ninja girl. From the moment they met until they meetings and hangouts and ‘date’ during midnight at the roof. Of course she tells the story with all emotions and even feeling giddy over their sweet moments.

Her friends found it weird.

Out of the ordinary.

Out of this world.

A girl ninja wannabe + midnight + roof is a very rare combination.

But they can’t deny that it’s cute and romantic.

“Based on what we’ve heard, you already got it covered, Unnie.” Yoona voiced out her observation.

“I agree with Yoona. So what help do you need from us?” Soo said.

“I need you to help me find her. To find out who she really is.” Fany said.

“You’ve been dating for days and you still don’t know her?!” Yuri asked unbelievably.

“You’re slow Fany.” Tae commented.

“I gotta agree on Tae with this one.” Hyo joined in the teasing.

“Why don’t you just ask her?” Seo asked.

“I tried but she won’t answer my question.” Fany said.

“So you gave up just like that?” Soo asked.

“No. I just don’t want to force her cause I don’t want to lose her. So I am trying to find another way to know who she really is.” Fany answered.

“What if this person is not really who you expected to be, Unnie?” Seohyun asked

“Doesn’t matter. I just want to know who she really is” Fany answered truthfully.

“Fany what if this ninja girl is an illusion. And who she really is not a person you’d like.” Taeyeon asked this time in a serious tone. Her friends do teased Tiffany Hwang but they are also concern about their friend.

“At least I wouldn’t be living in an illusion of her anymore. I wanted to meet the real her no matter who she really is.” A heartfelt answer from Tiffany.

“So what? You want us to scout each and every female in this town?” Soo asked.

“No, not the whole town. Just within this school.” Answered Fany.

“Mwo?!”

“She goes in our school?” Fany continued.

“Are you sure?” Yoona asked.

“Yes.” Fany answered.

“How do you know?” Yuri inquired again.

“That night when I hurt my knee, she gave me bandaids. Customized bandaids.” Explained Fany.

“And how does that prove anything? Maybe she brings bandaids or first aid kits along because she’s a ninja.” Hyoyeon reason out.

“I thought of that as well. But then the other night, she tutored me when I was having trouble with Mr. Shin’s assignment. Like she knows where to find the answers.” Fany continues her explanation.

“Whoa so that’s why you aced Mr. Shin’s class the next day?!” Taeyeon remembered that day because Fany aced Mr’ Shin’s questions.

“That is something but still it’s not enough.” Seohyun said.

“Two nights ago, I brought this pork bun which I bought from the school canteen. You know how it is always sold out. Well, when I gave to her, she slipped saying it was her favorite. We all know that this famous pork bun can only be bought from our school.” Fany presented her last evidence.

“Wow that is one good observation Unnie!” said Seohyun.  

“You’re like a detective.” Hyoyeon said while Yuri, Yoona and Soo acts like detectives.

“So will you guys help me find my ninja girl?” Fany asked one more time.

Her friends nodded.

“Oh my gosh! Thank you!”

“Well tell us about this ‘my ninja girl’.” Taeyeon said to her friend.

“Only I can call her my ninja girl.” Fany announced possessively.

“Tsk. Possessive.”

“Anyway, she is tall, lean, y, her eyes are beautiful and her smile… it’s the sweetest smile… sometimes it’s a dorky smile.” Tiffany said dreamily.

Her friends can only roll their eyes because of Fany’s “very helpful” information.

Later that night, Fany is feeling paranoid. She can’t help but feel like they were being watched. After she told her friends about her ninja, Fany somehow regretted it. She is afraid that her friends might stake out somewhere near her house and spy on her date with her ninja.

Her ninja noticed that Fany was feeling a bit out of the ordinary so she nudged her lightly on the shoulder making the eye smile girl look at the date she has been kind of ignoring.

“Mianhe. I didn’t mean to ignore my ninja.” Fany teased.

Her ninja smiled. She thought Tiffany was worrying about something.

“I just had this feeling like someone is watching us…” Fany confessed.

Her ninja looked side to side back and front but saw nothing.

“Yes, maybe I am just being paranoid.” Fany said.

They both decided to just have fun and enjoy their date.

Somewhere a few blocks away…

“Do you think they saw us?”

“I doubt it. We are like a block away from them. We can hardly even see them.”

“But why do I feel like Fany can sense us?”

“Fany can be really scary sometimes.”

“Tell me about it.”

Yuri, Sooyoung, Taeyeon and Hyoyeon decided that spying on Fany at this distance is no use and decided to just have fun.

The next day.

Taeyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Hyoyeon were caught dozing off in class along with Tiffany. These students were given punishment and it was to assist the Student Council in arranging some student organization files.

“It’s weird that all four of you were caught sleeping in class.” Fany observed.

“Well, you were also caught sleeping…” Hyoyeon rebutted.

Fany eyed on the four.

“What? We decided to hang out.” Yuri said.

“Just the four of you?” Fany asked.

“Yes?” Soo said.

“You were spying on me last night!” Fany accused.

“No!” They all denied but later admitted it. “Ok we did. But we realized that it was useless so we dropped the idea and just hang out.” Taeyeon explained.

“So you didn’t see who my ninja was?” Fany hoped that they’d found out.

“There’s no way we can Fany. It was dark and we were a block away.” Yuri said.

“Ok let’s call the maknaes and do what we have to.” Hyoyeon announced.

“But unnies, Hyunnie and I were not caught sleeping…” Yoona reasoned out.

“You have no choice, we are a group. Besides you can’t practice when most of the members are out.” Soo explained. The maknaes joined them.

“But you know what guys?” Hyoyeon started, “I think I’m going to love this punishment.” Hyoyeon finished with a knowing smile.

The rest finally got what Hyoyeon was saying.

“We get to spend time with the Student Council” Soo said while also wearing a knowing smile.

“If this is the kind of punishment for sleeping in class then I don’t mind getting caught.” Taeyeon joined in.

Tiffany can only shake her head for her friends’ crazy antics.

They reached the Student Council room. They knocked but no one answered so they decided to open the door and walk inside. Everyone was surprised on what they have witnessed.

Inside the Student Council room, Hyomin, Qri, Boram and Soyeon were all working on arranging the student organization files. Jiyeon & Eunjung were absent because they went to the Taewondo Tournament.

“This is endless…” Hyomin whined.

“Hyomin nah stop whining and continue working.” Soyeon said.

“I’m tired as well.” Boram agreed.

“Me too.” Qri said.

“I actually agree with you. This is too much. I feel like the Teachers are abusing us.” It was Soyeon’s turn to whine making the rest laugh.

Soon everyone went back to work wanting to finish it so they can go home.

Hyomin kept tapping her pen into a certain beat. Everyone in the room smiled upon hearing that beat. They don’t have to see each other’s faces, it’s like telepathy. Hyomin smiled and started the first verse, then Soyeon then Qri then Boram. They were having an impromptu acapella jamming of T-ara’s For You. They cheered and laughed when they finished the song. It’s like an energy pill, everyone was feeling energized.

Everyone…

Everyone including their unexpected, awestruck audience.

Claps.

The Student Council looked and was shocked to see that they have an audience.

“Umm… mianhe. We didn’t mean to intrude. Ah… we were sent here to help you guys.” Taeyeon speak up for the rest.

The Coucils looked at each other before Qri spoke, “We didn’t know that you were coming but we are thankful that you did. We welcome all the help that will come.”

Taeyeon was in awe while listening to Qri. She failed to hear that Qri introduced herself until Yuri nudged her. The two groups exchanged greetings.

“We knew Soyeon Unnie can sing but we didn’t know that the whole Student Council can sing so great. Deabak! You should perform in the next school event.” Yoona exclaimed.

“Ani. Ani.” The Council members opposed to the idea.

“How about we start working…” Soyeon said obviously avoiding the topic. “Hyomin, show them what to do.”

Hyomin went on and explained what to do. “So is everything clear?” Hyomin asked.

“Yes, Unnie. Thanks.” Seohyun answered on behalf of her unnies who seemed to be in dazed. She knew that her unnies will never be productive when they are in the same room as the Student Council.

“Anytime, Hyunnie.” Hyomin replied before leaving.

After Hyomin left, everyone attacked on Seohyun. “Hyunnie???” “Since when have you been close to her?”

“We just decided to drop the formalities.” Seohyun explained making her unnies more jealous.

“Hey” Taeyeon called out her friends “These files have information about hobbies, likes and dislikes.” She continued showing it to them. “We can use this to find Fany’s ninja.”

“So we have to look for someone who wrote that she’s a ninja or obsessed with ninjas?” Yuri asked.

“Or maybe find someone who is similar to the profile of Fany’s ninja.” Taeyeon explained. “Someone like…”

Fany started narrating her ninja’s qualities “Someone who loves to eat, a shikshin. I can’t believe that there exist besides Yoona and Soo. Who has a good smile, dorky and loves to jump around buildings…”

Has a good smile…

Toothy grin…

These qualities are all too familiar for Soehyun.

“Could it be…?” Seohyun thought. She looked at the other side where Hyomin was busy working and chatting with Boram. “It must be…” Seohyun thought and smiled.
