It’s the day of the school event. The stage has been set. Fany and her group as well as the other student performers are all getting ready. The school press are all in front of the stage ready to cover the event. The student council members are in their own tasked positions.

Fany and her group perform and there are loud cheers from the students. It was expected because their group are really famous and have a lot of fans.

Meanwhile Hyomin and Jiyeon are busy fixing the wall backstage. Jiyeon is up on a ladder with Hyomin supporting her.

“Wow… they sure have many fans. Listen to those cheers and chants.” Jiyeon commented while busy fixing the wall.

“Neh. They are famous.” Is all that Hyomin can say. She really wanted to watch their performance but they need to fix this wall up otherwise it might cause accidents. She wonders how is Fany on stage. She had watched their group performances before in previous school events but Hyomin did not really pay attention to Tiffany. Well, not until she started hanging out with Fany (in her ninja state).  She got to know more about Tiffany and she wanted to know more about the girl.

“Yah Park Hyomin! Don’t just stand there. Hold the ladder.” Jiyeon commanded when she noticed that Hyomin was spacing out.

“Yah!” Hyomin said only to be meronged by Jiyeon. Hyomin hold the ladder but to get back at the other girl she started shaking the ladder a bit.

“Yah! Stop it!” Jiyeon panicked and held tightly on the ladder.

“Yah? Who is Yah?” Hyomin teased more.

“Unnie, please…” Jiyeon begged.

Hyomin stopped. Jiyeon hurriedly went down and hit Hyomin a few times. Both of them started laughing until Soyeon asked, “Have you both fixed the wall?”

“Neh.” “Done.” The two answered.

After Soyeon left, Jiyeon and Hyomin looked at each other and started laughing and giggling again.

After their performance, Fany was first to go backstage. She heard some laughter and giggles. Usually she’d ignore those but that giggle sounds familiar. Too familiar. It sounds like… her ninja. Fany looked around and saw two girls wearing their school uniform giggling from a distance. She kept on looking at them trying to see their faces but she missed a step and tripped.

“Fany!” The rest called out after seeing their friend fall and hurt. They all rushed to her and helped her sit on a chair.

“Are you ok?”

“What happened?”

“I’m ok. I missed a step and fell. Don’t worry it’s nothing.” Fany explained. She looked around to see if she can find those two girls.

“Are you alright?” Everyone looked at the person who asked and it was one of the student council, Jiyeon.

“Yes.” Replied Fany.

“You’re hurt. Hyomin is just getting some first aid kit. Oh she’s here.” Jiyeon said.

“I have the kit.” Hyomin said. She thought one of Fany’s friends will take the kit from her but they all move away from Tiffany as if giving her (Hyomin) space so she can aid Fany herself. She exchanged looks with Jiyeon who only shrugged her shoulder. “Oh okay…” Hyomin said after getting the idea.

She walked in front of Fany and knelt down so she can clean the wound in Fany’s knee. “I’ll…” Hyomin said while holding the cotton.

Fany who is embarrassed only gave a nod. She knew that after this, she’ll be the subject of her friend’s teasing. She expected that her friends will be teasing her because she tripped and fall down. But she knew that they’ll be teasing her more because of what is happening right now. A student council member is tending on her wound. She can imagine her friends exchanging knowing looks behind her back.

The student council are famous in their school. She is lucky that she had this moment with one of them. The scene would have been romantic if not for her heart is meant only for her ninja.

“Done.” Hyomin announced.

“Thank you.” Fany said.

Hyomin smiled and nodded in reply before leaving with Jiyeon.

“That was intense!” Soo exclaimed.

“Yes, it is… like there is something.” Hyoyen agreed.

“Stop making something out of nothing. She just tended my wound which should be done by one of you but you all moved away and let her do it.” Fany stated.

“Do you realize that that was a student council tending your wound?” Yuri said making Fany roll her eyes.

“As a true friend, if you were the one who got hurt, I’ll volunteer to tend that wound and not let somebody else do it.” Fany retorted.

“I wouldn’t let you.” Yuri said making Fany confused. “I would rather have Park Hyomin or any of the student council tend my wound.”

“Seriously?” Fany asked in disbelief.

“Yes, I would have shoved all of you away if was the one injured.” Taeyeon said then high fived Yuri.

“Not you too, Tae. Hyunnie look at them.” Fany whined.

“Unnie,Hyomin ssi was being very delicate so I wouldn’t mind at all.” Seohyun stated a matter of fact. “By the way, why did you got hurt, Unnie?”

“Umm… well…” Fany can’t tell them that she heard a giggle that sounds so much like her ninja and that she thought she saw her ninja backstage but failed to see her face. She thought maybe she has been thinking about her ninja too much that she imagined she saw her here in school. “I don’t know… accident?” Fany answered.

“You’re late.” Fany said to her expectant visitor who seemed to be shock. “Why you seemed so shock? Shock to see me here first?”

Shakes head then sat beside Fany. The ninja didn’t expect to see Fany tonight because of the accident earlier but she is happy that she did.

“Here.” Fany gave her a snack.

They ate in silence.

The ninja kept glancing at Fany’s injury. She wanted to ask if she was alright but she does not know how because otherwise, she might get caught.

“Oh, I tripped earlier backstage. It’s just a scratch.” Fany reassured.

The ninja tried looking for something in her pocket making the other girl curious.

“What’s this?” Fany asked as her ninja gave her something. She opened it and found bandaids with ninja drawings. “Wow this is so cute. Did you make them?”

Nods.

“Thank you. I love it! I’ll use one now.”

Tiffany Hwang’s face is red as it can be because her ninja is helping her apply the bandaid.

“Thank you!” Is what Fany can only say because her heart is going to burst anytime soon.

Her ninja replied with the sweetest smile and, oh how Fany feel like fainting.

“Thank you… ummm… I’m going to rest now. Goodnight.” Fany rushed because she doesn’t know if she can still take any it. She was rushing to go down that she made the chair fall down from her bed to the floor. She knew the loud thud from the falling chair will wake her parents up.

“Oh no… my parents are sure awake by now. I need to get inside my room.” Fany started to panic. The quickest way inside was for her to jump from the window but she’s scared that she might get more serious injury.

There was a knock on Fany’s door and she knew it was one of her parents checking up on her.

To her surprise, her ninja jumped swiftly on to her bed without making any noise. She faced Fany and motioned her to jump.

Still second guessing but when she heard her father calling out her name, Fany closed her eyes and jumped.

She opened her eyes and saw that she jumped into her ninja’s embrace. Their face so close to each other just a few centimeters away from each other. She was looking into her eyes.

“Fany! Are you alright?” Her father called out cutting her moment with her ninja.

“Yes, Appa! It was just the chair that tripped over. I didn’t got hurt.” Fany replied.

“Ok, well don’t stay up too late.”

“Yes, Appa.”

“Ok, I was just checking if you’re alright. I’ll be going back to sleep.”

“Thanks. Goodnight!”

Fany faced her ninja, “That was close. Thanks again.”

Her ninja smiled and pointed up saying that she’s going as well.

“Right…umm… Goodnight.”

Nods then jumps out of the window. Before leaving, her ninja waved once more.

Fany locked her window. She went to bed and hugged her pillow tightly. She can’t stop smiling. Burying her face to pillow, she let of a muffled squeal.
