He has always found it hard to look at the other man for more than 7 seconds.

From the very first meeting, the other's eye crinkles, soft gaze, and bright gummy smile had drawn him in, irresistibly, disallowing him to regret anything he did from there to just to get close to this man.

Because his auroral presence seemed to fill in what was most lacking in his life. It opened his eyes to a purpose before death, and proved that the journey really is more important than the destination.
