Mealy-mouthed
Drabblesmealy-mouthed: adj. avoiding the use of direct and plain language, as from timidity, excessive delicacy, or hypocrisy
"Next, 'mealy-mouthed': who knows what this word means?"
A quiet breeze rolls around lazily in the sunshine outside, beneath the large windows of the classroom. The emerald green grass complain slightly, straightening their bodies back to before the wind had ruffled them sideways.
Tick, tick. It is the only sound in the large classroom; thirty or so students either have their chin in their hand, are slouched back in their chairs, or are trying their best to keep their eyes open on this cool afternoon of a drowsy English class.
Who knew, years later, it would turn into such nostalgia.
