Arcadian: adj. rural, rustic, or pastoral, especially suggesting simple, innocent contentment

It was well known in the Arcadian village of Apollorinna that descendents of the Artemilene, although they lived just across the river of Ge, were not to have any involvement with themselves. Each day, Apollorinnians would rise to collect energies from the golden illumini, while Artemilenes awoke only when their neighbours went to rest. For they would assemble instead under the silver illumini, so it was natural that they did not meet. 

Despite this ancient rule having lost its reason in the erosion of several milllenia, most of the villagers followed it out of habit.

Except for two young boys.
