Hi everyone --- I'm back with another chapter! Many of you have been asking who loves who, so I decided to add in this chapter as a "flashback" on what happened with Kai --- hope you enjoy it ;)

Flashback...

Kai's POV

As Jongin bolted out the doors of the shopping mall with Kyungsoo chasing frantically after him, he managed to make Kyungsoo lose him for a while by running through a dark alley. All of a sudden, he felt a large hand grab his shoulders, yanking him into an unknown corner of the alley. Panting, Jongin struggles to break free from the strong grasp of the stranger. Who is this? W-Why am I here? S-someone- please save me- I haven't had the the chance to tell Kyungsoo my feelings yet!

"COVER HIS MOUTH WITH THE CLOTH. MAKE SURE KYUNGSOO IS NOT BEHIND HIM. WE MUST FINISH OUR TASK UNSEEN." Jongin shivered as he heard the authorative raspy voice echo thoughout the narrow alley. Jongin lifted his head and saw that there were two guys there. They were both wearing masks, so he could only see their eyes. However, he did catch sight of the company logo on their open wrists. It read, DOC. That could only mean one thing. These two men who kidnapped him were from the D.O. Company. These people work under Kyungsoo's family? B-but-- why..?

Jongin snapped back to his senses when the second man began to speak. "KIM JONGIN, I ADVISE YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM DO KYUNGSOO, SON OF CHARIMAN DO. WE COME WITH ORDERS FROM CHAIRMAN DO, AND HAVE BEEN INSTRUCTED TO PRESENT YOU TWO OPTIONS: EITHER BREAK KYUNGSOO'S HEART, OR HAVE CHAIRMAN DO BANISH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY FROM SOUTH KOREA FOREVER. THE CHAIRMAN IS DISPLEASED THAT HE HAS BROKEN OFF HIS ENGAGEMENT WITH PARK CHANYEOL. OUR COMPANIES COULD'VE BEEN COMBINED IF IT WEREN'T FOR YOU." Jongin was shocked at the sudden request. What? Break Kyungsoo's heart? Leave South Korea with my family? But my family is already poor. We have no money to go anywhere, let alone start a new life...

"IT's YOUR DECISION," the first man said again, "YOU HAVE 5 SECONDS LEFT. I CAN HERE THE CHAIRMAN'S SON'S VOICE APPROACHING. WHAT IS YOUR ANSWER, KIM JONGIN?" Jongin did not know what to do. He truly loved Kyungsoo with all his heart, but he couldn't just leave with his parents to some place else with his parents and younger siblings. His parents had worked so hard to let him attend the same school as the rich kids. They had worked day to night, doing their best to aid Jongin through his studies. There was no way Jongin could do this to his hardworking parents.

I'm sorry... Kyungsoo-ah...........

As Jongin heard Kyungsoo's voice calling his name, he could tell that Kyungsoo was near. He quickly made the decision he knew he would regret so much after saying it. "Fine. I will not engage in any relationship with Do Kyungsoo. Please rest assured." Tears were already threatening to fall down his cheeks as he said those words. He couldn't believe he had just let go of someone who he loved the most. The person he had always been in love with. The person who he was so close to, yet so far away from.
