Kara Shen

After three years of an angst filled, dramatic and wild lifestyle, Kara is ready to settle down and focus on her studies and become successful in the competitive world of America. Of course, the drama doesn’t just end because she wants it to. After being emotionally abused by Jimin, she takes her herself in order to overcome her depression and anxiety, and then seeks out her classmate Taehyung (V) to learn from his confidence. She ends up establishing unique relationships with many new and old friends, as they all quest through the tough school lives of the asian-american teen.

Kim Taehyung

Nickname: V

Age:17

Kara’s classmate for as long as she can remember. He is the boy everyone likes and the total funny extrovert. He is really weird in the best possible way. Kara wants to learn from him in order to regain her confidence, and he agrees to help her in exchange fore her promise to always listen to him when he needs. Because although he seems wonderful, he is just another broken glass looking for someone to fix him.

Jung Hoseok

Nickname: J-Hope

Age: 18

A year older than Kara, but their parents are good friends, therefore they know each other pretty well. J-Hope is one of Jimin’s gang members but as the year progresses, he shifts away from that lifestyle and becomes better friends with Kara and Jungkook. He helps Kara with science, they share a taste in music, and they enjoy watching movies together . He is always ready to protect her, unless Jimin is involved.

Min Yoongi

Nickname: Suga

Age: 18

He is a Spanish prodigy at school and in the same class as Kara. Although they have really nothing much in common, they study Spanish together in class and talk a lot because of their mutual friends. Suga is also one of Jimin’s gang members. He loves superheroes and video games. He was against Jimin’s actions towards Kara, from the beginning, but did not really do anything to stop him.

Jeon Jungkook

Nickname: -

Age: 17

Very intelligent and sweet. He and Kara have lots of advanced classes together. He is a good friend of V’s as well. He is very ambitious and doesn’t want anything getting in the way of his success. He gets extremely jealous and competitive but is an overall good person. Kara is almost perfect for him because she compliments most aspects of his personality. They both share priorities and know what is really important in life. Jungkook can be insensitive at times, and is constantly under family pressure. Nevertheless, he knows how to have a good time.

Kim Seokjin

Nickname: Jin

Age: 22

Kara’s childhood friend who begins to attend the famous university near her home, therefore moving in with her and her family. Their families are very close and at one time they wanted Kara and Jin to marry each other. Jin acts as an elder brother to Kara and helps guide her through the tough stages of adolescence, since her parents are often not around to do so.

Park Jimin

Age: 17

Jimin is rebellious, mean and sassy. He is the school’s biggest troublemaker, most desirable, and wealthiest boy. He manages to wiggle out of his trouble because of the power his family has. In addition, he is so good looking that people can hardly ever tell him no to his face. He always gets what he wants, except when it comes to Kara. But even Kara fell for him at first. He truly is a spoiled brat who is just trying to get attention, and figure out who he is. He is actually very intelligent but puts focus in all the wrong places. He deals drugs, parties, and gets into fights. When he was 14, he and Kara were in sort of a romantic relationship which ended really badly and caused Kara lots of emotional pain. Even after these years, Jimin won’t let Kara move on so easily. 

Kim Namjoon

Nickname: Rap Monster, Rapmon

Age: 21

Kara’s elder cousin, who comes and spends his winter vacation with her family, and ends up making enemies with the same people who bully and caused trouble to Kara in the past. He is also a brotherly figure to Kara, and really doesn’t like V, much to everyone’s surprise.
