Chapter 13
Just stay, for onceIf only I could turn back time, I wouldn't need to see what Jongin had sent me. It's a picture.
A picture of him and Eun Seo, smiling happily and from what I could see, both of them had ice-creams on their cheeks. At this instant, past memories of us suddenly flashed in my head. I remembered there's this time where I told him that I was craving for ice creams during chemistry class, and right after school, he brought me to this convenience store not so far away from our school. After we got our ice creams, he walked me home.
I felt something streamed down my face and to my realization, I was silently crying but as I didn't want to attract any attention from the strangers, so I quickly wiped it with the back of my hand and hoped on the bus.

When I reached the school gates, "Morning, Ara. What took you so long?" It was Jungkook who greeted me with a smile on his face. After I apologized to him, we walked to our class together. But I wasn't prepared to meet the person I least wanted to see, at least for today.
Upon entering the class, Jongin was the first person who I had an eye contact with, he simply smiled and nodded at me. What? How can you act like as if you didn't indirectly hurt me and like you didn't do anything at all?
But since its rude to not return the gesture, I just smiled back at him and nudged Jungkook on his arm as to tell him we should get to our seats now.
I tried my best to shoved that dark incident at the very back of my mind and proceed with my day with a morning filled with lessons and tried to busy myself with the homeworks given by the tutors. However, I, myself wasn't really doing a good job in that as the picture kept of flashing in my mind. It feels like it's trying to haunt me. Or maybe it will.
