You stared at the enticing locket glimmering in his palm.

"Why are you so nice? Comforting me, spending the night with me, now you are giving me this.. AJ was not as nice as you.." You teared up as you reached for the jewellery.

"Just because." Kevin shrugged. "I'll help you put it on." He twirled you around and clasped the necklace firmly around your slender neck. "There. It looks perfect now, looks like it has found its owner." He grinned and you smiled back at him weakly, the silver piece. You made a mental note to buy him a gift as thank you.

"Wait." You called after him.

"Yes?"

"T-Thank you! Thank you for helping me when I needed someone to lean on, thank you for not grumbling about accompanying me, and thank you for this." You hugged him and pulled away after a second, embarrassed.

"You are most welcome." He patted your head and asked, "Are you tired? Do you want to go home? Or.. do you want to go shopping?" He suggested.

What do you want to do now?
