"How did I end up with these idiots?" Seungcheol silently mumbled to himself as he face-palmed. 

It was certainly not his fault that he ended up with them and that he got himself into this situation. Of course, he didn't really mean it, but when you had only an hour of sleep on the car trip back to the dorm where the rest of the members on the car were noisy as hell, you surely want to take a better rest on your own bed. He quietly cursed the company for creating this madness of a group and blamed himself for not sleeping on the trip to their activity earlier that day.  

It was currently 2am at their dorm and the leader of Seventeen cannot even get a nice nap before they would practice around 4 hours later. The oldest of the group locked himself in his own room and groaned at the noise that came from outside.  How is it possible that the 12 other members did not want to sleep?  

Well, to be correct, saying all 12 of the others did not want to sleep was wrong. In fact, Jisoo and Junghan went to bed already but despite their cute appearances, Seungcheol just has a problem with their snoring. 

"THAT'S IT!" the oldest yelled as he stood up and threw his pillow onto his bed. Of course, as usual, the members either didn’t hear him or ignored him. Why is it that the oldest or the leader of a group always gets the least respect? That was a question he wondered about frequently.  

Seungcheol stomped to the door of the room, unlocked it and went out towards the living room where the lights were still on and bright. He stood there with his eyes wide opened now, after rubbing a few times to let his eyes see clearly.  

"What the heck. They are seriously high" were the words he said as he stared at what the members were doing. It was an exaggeration really as what the members were doing were what they normally did after break and actually, a lot quieter. But perhaps today, he was just a little too tired. 

At the corner and sitting down in a circle were Mingyu, Wonwoo, Soonyoung and Seokmin which were giggling like girls over something Seungcheol couldn't hear. If he were to guess what it was, it was most likely some new gossip.  On the other sofa watching TV was Junhui and Minghao, the TV was on at, he swore, volume 60, and the older of the two Chinese members were laughing like a maniac while watching a comedy show. The boy would occasionally explain and translate everything into Chinese as he told the younger of the two what had happened in the show, in which afterwards,  Minghao would laugh as much as the older did.  

Seungcheol enjoyed the fact that the two Chinese members were close and that Junhui was friendly as it meant he had to do less work in the aiding,  which when you're taking care of 12 people, you would surely want.  

And of course, the three youngest kids of seventeen were playing card games as usual. Seungcheol had no idea why but after they found a pack of cards underneath the fridge the three had been obsessed with any sort of game you could play.  They would bet on food and drinks, anything but money, and would pretend to be professionals at it. He observed.  

"YAH CHOI HANSOL. WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM? YOU SO CHEATED" Seungkwan's voice went up higher than normal as he shouted at the laughing boy. 

"I DIDN'T! I SWEAR! HAHAHA" The mentioned boy continued to laugh as he got hit by the other. It appeared that Hansol had peeked at Seungkwan's hand before he took a card, allowing him to pick the right card and win the round.  

"YOU PEEKED I SAW!" 

"NUH-UH I DID NOT, RIGHT CHAN?"

Poor kid, the youngest became the target of the two older boy’s eyes as one glared at him suspiciously and the other looked at him with puppy looking, begging eyes.  

"I-i don't know- I was concentrating on my own cards..." Chan whispered, shifting a little backwards and only smiled innocently, hoping the other two would just settle down and continue the game.  

"UGH!" Seungkwan whined and kicked Leonardo DiCaprio look-a-like one last time before pouting and repeating "it's not fair!" 

"Hey! You can still win Chan!  I'll help you!" Hansol said sounding a little desperate yet not guilty at all if that’s possible. The boy shifted closer to the other 98-liner and grinned, showing his cheeky face as he looked at the remaining cards

"Ew, you're too close, I never said you could help" was the last thing Seungcheol heard before he sighed and turned around to look for the final member.  

It was always like that and Seungcheol felt a little sad. It seemed like the members enjoyed staying in their own little groups or mixing with each other but Jihoon would always be left out. It was his own choice to be left alone though. Perhaps, the stress he had mentioned about was really that difficult?  

The older always wanted and offered to help but the other would always turn him down. He would say that it was okay and that he is fine alone, but occasionally, he would say harsh things to him like leave me alone, or you'll just make things worse.  These words hurt Seungcheol and he would really rather the smaller boy to act and be all crazy with the other members, or even better, asleep like Jisoo and Junghan than be by himself.  

"Jihoon?" Seungcheol would always remember to knock the door and wait for the others answer three times, each time louder, before opening it himself.  It was first of all, polite to do so and second of all, to gain the others permission. Besides, the other boy could've just had his headphones on and therefore unable to hear him knock. 

"Hm?" He stared at the 'Producer at work, Do not disturb!' sign for a while, waiting for an answer after the third knock, before deciding to just barge into the room. 

"Jihoon?" The leader repeated himself as he was greeted by only the computer monitor light on the screen. Usually,  if he barged into the room after no response he would receive a glare from the shorter one, a kick on the shin and a "knock and wait before you open!" warning, in which he would just laugh it off and hang out in the room,  looking at what he was doing and again,  offering help. 

This time, after he the light and closed the door, he was greeted by a sleeping Jihoon, on the couch situated besides his working space. The sleeping boy was snoring a little, asleep still with his headphones on which had become unplugged from the computer most likely due to moving too much, and a small notebook on the ground.  

Seungcheol laughed, the site was definitely one he rarely saw. Yea, it happened a few times before but it was quite unusual as he would normally be asleep earlier than the other to see him asleep.

The older boy chuckled, grabbing the notebook on the floor and the headphones from the others ears and placing it on the table where the rest of the things were.  

"Aww... How cute." He smiled as he watched the other boy shuffle a little and adjust his position. 

Taking this opportunity and hoping to be able to use for blackmailing one day (which he thought could be a smart idea just in case the other wants to kill him with the guitar) he took a few picture with the phone in his pocket, plus a few selcas and slowly, moved Jihoon's head, sat down, and placed it gently back on his knee, so the other could rest his head on there like a pillow.

Being the nice and caring leader he is despite how noisy the other members were, he took a blanket which the younger would always keep next to the couch and placed it on the other to keep him warm. With that, the other shifted a little once again, and smiled in his sleep. 

Seungcheol looked at him and smiled, using his fingers to fix the bangs that had fallen on the others face,  which could poke him and potentially wake him up, before adjusting his own position so he could comfortably lean his head and body on the sofa. Jihoon was cute, really cute, not because he was short or anything, he had just... Always been cute. The younger was fun to play with, to tease, to laugh with, to hug, and even to kiss. Of course, he meant that he chose the right person to kiss on that one time on SeventeenTV and nothing else. Not like he ever wanted to kiss the younger one more time after that. He was just, thinking. 

He never realized how quiet the room was compared to the rest of the dorm. Was it because he just couldn't hear it? Was it because the members decided to finally go back to sleep, or was it, he noticed, the soundproof walls of the room? Either way, the leader was happy he could finally take a nap in here as he slowly fell asleep.

Perhaps Jihoon being alone wasn't that bad of a thing as he got to do this. Feeling like he was able to watch the younger one sleep and not feel stressed was certainly nice for him. And perhaps, ending up with this particular idiot isn't that bad after all.

Jihoon: .... /looks at Seungcheol/

Seungcheol: what 

Jihoon: your phone- /glares and takes his hand out/

Seungcheol: I don't know what you're talking about haha..

Jihoon: ...

Seungcheol: ...

Jihoon: ...

Seungcheol: ...

Seungcheol: ugh, okay /hands phone over/

Jihoon: /smiles/

First official chapter! Yay! Seungcheol x Jihoon is the first pairing as you can tell, and there will hopefully be more of them later on! Of course, they'll be paired with others too so don't worry if it isn't your ship-
