“Uh- what are you doing?” Jihoon looked up at the taller one, raising an eyebrow in suspiciousness.

The other’s hand was still at his area, and it was just awkward to make eye contact with the other. He didn’t know what to do now, whether to continue taking a shower, or wait outside but stay in bathroom FO r the other to finish first.

Soonyoung heated up, definitely not because of the steam coming from the shower head though and when he realized the place he had grabbed when he was just about to slip, he looked up at the smaller one with a shy smile before immediately taking his hand off the boy’s sensitive area. 

“oh my god I swear I’m not gay” He blurted out right after removing his hands off and gave out a small hesitant laughter. 

The only sound afterwards was the water coming from the shower head. The two boys stood in front of each other in the bathtub awkwardly, looking away and completely avoiding each other’s gaze.

Why they were together in the bathtub was that by being the vocal unit leader and performance leader respectively, Jihoon and Soonyoung stayed behind the studio to work on their new song, Soonyoung showing Jihoon the choreograph he had made while the younger one watched and made changes to it. Seungcheol was watching of course, but decided to go back home earlier so he could make sure the other kids were sound asleep, ready to attend their schedule tomorrow. As they came home very late that night and both wanting to take a shower and go to bed quickly, they had decided to just take a shower together.

It was common for them to do so honestly. They had tried it a few times, when the both of them stayed back to work on and polish things, they would take a shower together, practicing and making jokes in the process. It was perfectly normal, and not awkward. That was until this time.

What happened exactly in the bathtub was when Soonyoung tried to grab the soap at the side of the bathtub. The soap unfortunately rolled off and being the stupid person he was, the older tried to catch it with his foot. Every logical person knows that soap is a very slippery substance and catching it with your foot in a shower would cause you to slip. Soonyoung didn’t know that. And when he realized that he was just about to fall down and hit his head, he grabbed onto the closest thing to him. Unfortunately to Jihoon, the closest thing to grab on Soonyoung had, was his .

The incident was definitely one of the most awkward-est thing that happened between any member. Sure, all of them had accidently touched each other’s private area, and sure, they were perfectly fine with them accidently touching each other, but they had clothes on. This time, they were both .

Surprisingly, even to Soonyoung, the first thing that came out of his mouth was not ‘oh my god I swear it was an accident,’ but instead, had been ‘oh my god I swear I’m not gay’. That, added onto the awkwardness.

Both of them turned red afterwards, Soonyoung having grabbed the soap from the bottom of the bathtub began to rub himself with it, washing up quickly before deciding to leave as soon as he can.

He grabbed a towel and dried himself up, wrapping it around his waist before looking at the still awkward and still Jihoon.

“Uh—haha—I guess I’ll be leaving first…” The older one mumbled out quickly as he opened the door to the bathroom.

“Okay bye and goodnight” Soonyoung mumbled again, looking serious at the other before shutting the door closed quickly.

‘AWKWARD AWKARD AWKWARD!!’ Soonyoung thought to himself, grabbing his boxers in the room he shared with Seokmin in and buried his face on his towel. ‘What the hell was that!’ He continued to think as he question himself, turning red like a tomato and repeatedly crash his head against the towel he held up.

What had happened was something he had never expected to ever happen. He was good friends with Jihoon, heck, he was good friends with everyone, but because of this, will everything become awkward?

He swore in his head, screaming as he remembered he planned to stay back yet again until 2AM with Jihoon.

It wasn’t only scary for the fact that he had to stay back again with him and that he had just did that, he was now scared of what Jihoon was going to do to him after the younger had realized what just happened in the bathroom.

Soonyoung quickly jumped onto the covers in which Seokmin was already in. He mentally replayed the scene that had happened and buried himself into the pillow instead.

‘I touched his area, I touched his area, I touched his area, oh my god, I grabbed his !’

Honestly, he didn’t know why he was so nervous about it. It wasn’t like he had any feelings for the younger one, so he was sure the other could understand the sudden action he did to him. He began calming himself down as he kept quiet. Breathing slowly and quietly. Listening to Seokmin’s breathing and snoring made him a lot better and he smiled. He was beginning to fall asleep until one thing crossed his mind.

Oh crap. He left his earphones and choreography notebook in the bathroom. Crap, crap, crap.

The earphones didn’t matter that much but the notebook did!

Soonyoung mentally screamed for the nth time that night before finally having the guts to go out of the room and back to the bathroom. Of course, that was when he made sure there weren’t any showering noises anymore.

Jihoon turned red the moment he felt the other grab his . He was going to swear, and hit him, and possibly commit murder, but somehow he didn’t.

He wanted to laugh when the other said that he wasn’t gay. What exactly was that anyway? Jihoon knew honestly that although that was what he said, the older was definitely at least, a tiny bit gay.

The younger chuckled, rubbing his hair with some shampoo before washing it. It was awkward, definitely awkward, and it took some time for him to adjust to it anyway, but the other had left now so it was all good.

He was nervous; actually, he felt a weird feeling inside his stomach as the scene played back in his mind. It wasn’t like he had any feelings for the other either… it just felt, strange.

Jihoon stepped out of the bathtub and was immediately greeted by the heated face of his as he saw the earphones and notebook the older had left.

‘What the hell’ the shorter thought to himself, drying himself up and putting his clothes on as he tried to calm himself down.

He didn’t want to admit it, but Soonyoung looked adorable when he blushed and hesitated in the awkwardness during the incident. He rarely thought anyone was adorable, so Soonyoung should feel super achieved if he ever knew of the younger’s thoughts.

Deciding whether or not he should hand Soonyoung’s things back, he finally decided he should and headed out the door with his things.

Fortunately, and unfortunately, he bumped into the taller male again.

“AH- i- Jihoon” The older began, placing a hand behind his nape as he looked away awkwardly.

‘Crap, crap, crap, WHY’ Soonyoung thought when he saw the smaller figure in front of him.

To the elder’s surprise, Jihoon laughed quietly and placed the earphones and notebook out, handing it back to him.

Taking it back hesitantly he mumbled a simple ‘thanks’

The awkwardness once again filled the air. Both of them did not know what to do, one staring at the floor and one staring at the ceiling. They could really just part away and go to bed as it was late already, but they chose to stand in front of each other and stay still instead.

“Hey” Soonyoung began again.

“Hm?”

“Sorry about err—that”

“Huh?”

“You know… what happened in the bathroom earlier.” The older apologized, face turning red again and thank god the lights were really all out. “I really hope it won’t be awkward between us”

“It’s okay, really, really weird things happen in the bathroom anyway” The younger grinned up at the other. Sure, it was weird to have a guy grab his , but it wasn’t on purpose… so it was okay.

“So…”

“Yea?”

“I’m going to go to bed now”

“Okay”

“The plan for tomorrow”

“Let’s just stay back again?” Jihoon asked, looking up at the other and tilting his head slight.

“Well goodnight”

“Goodnight”

Soonyoung nodded and was just about to turn around before he accidently tripped on a towel. His hand grabbed anything that was the nearest to him and sadly, the closest thing again was Jihoon’s area.

“Oh my god”

“I swear-“

“Soonyoung!”

“Hehe—“

“You know what”

“Let’s just forget about this”

Soonyoung: hahahaha-- what-
