Present day Seoul, South Korea -- after countless military rebellions and outside pressure, the former republic shifts back to a monarchy. A makeshift government scours ancient palace records and matched modern-day family trees in order to find the descendants of Korea’s last royal family, and after weeks of searching, they find what they’re looking for.
The Parks, a working-class family of four, are thrown into the public eye and immediately installed as South Korea’s reigning royal family. However, palace life proves to be everything but a walk in the park, especially for the new crown prince and princess.
Newly-installed Crown Prince Park Yoochun, and Princess Park Hyun Ae are no longer allowed to return to their previous, mid-level high school, and are enrolled in Munhwa Prep. Situated in the outskirts of Seoul, Munhwa prep’s 500-hectare campus holds the country’s future politicians, business leaders, and now monarchs.
The school’s original purpose was as a service school to Korean politicians, but over the years it has become the most sought-after school in the country, guaranteeing admission to prestigious local and foreign universities. However even with its to-die-for reputation, Munhwa Prep remains open only to children of South Korean politicians, diplomats and high-ranking government officials, and after a rigorous selection process at kindergarten level, the only entry level, admits only the top 100 students.
However due to the return of a monarchy, members of the royal family are now granted automatic admission to Munhwa Prep, and Yoochun and Hyun Ae become the school’s first and only transfer students.

This is another attempt of mine to write decent fiction, and this time I can assure you that I'm taking this a lot more seriously. Any constructive criticism is greatly appreciated -- I came here to learn, and I intend for that to happen.
I'm almost done with the first chapter, so I'll be posting that hopefully tonight. :D
