ATTENTION PLEASE!!!
This is not Silent World, although this also detective story.
This won't be as awesome as Detective Conan or Sherlock Holmes or Hercule Poirot. It's not even close.
This is just story that keeps bugging my mind this past few weeks.
If you ask when will I finish my other stories, honestly I don't have the answer. I'm stuck in there.... for now. Currently working on Chapter 3.
And if you ask if I will left this story behind like others, there is possibility for it, but this story has complete storyline in my head. So... it's 50:50. Depends on my fingers ability to write down what on my mind.
I just want you read this if you enjoy it. Don't demand me anything.
If you don't like the storyline, there are a lot of stories here that you can read. Don't mind to come to this page. This is for my fun. And I have no intention to write this story as what people like but as what I want this to be.
So... if you agree with what I said here, please come and join me.

Foreword
“Undercover? You must be kidding!!”
“Relax. Every detective ever had done it once, at least. It’s not a big deal,” Tiffany, her partner, doesn’t have any intention to back up her. Somehow it builds her anger more.
“See it yourself! It’s really show! We’re homicide division not fraud division!” the detective still hasn’t lower down her volume.
“You should be the one who looks closely, detective,” Park Kahi, the boss, interrupts their conversation. “We always has a reason to put you in that assignment.”
“But boss... in this case; we only need to see their background and we’ll solve the case.”
“If that the case, I won’t bother to give you this mission, detective,” Kahi counters. “Meet Chameleon, the only thing we know about this person is his gender, which is male and also his partner, which is female. We don’t know yet if they’re married or just partner in crime. Like their nickname, Chameleon, they can be anyone, even one of use here.”
Tiffany can see her partner shows a little bit interest of the case. For Tiffany, she has interest since she knows her partner will do undercover on reality show.
“For your information, this is serial killers. Until now, we know there are 3 victims. And the equation for the victims, they’re female, obviously. They’re rich. And last but not least, they ever did this kind of show before.”
“Finding a prince charming, huh?”
“Every girl has a dream, detective. You should know that,” Kahi still doesn’t giving up yet, although her detective seems half hearted on this mission.
“And my dream is carrying a gun to shoot their balls.”
“Hahaha,” Tiffany echoes her partner and making her snort.
“To make it short, let me introduce you to the director. Coincidentally, she’s my friend, Kim Jung Ah.”
A tall woman with short hair joins them in the meeting room. After short introduction, she takes a seat not far from The Boss.
“Reality show is not really that real. Some of them are a real contestant but some of them are actress wannabe that we paid to play their parts. They just take an opportunity to show their skills in front of camera, which we provided.”
“How do you know the prince charming is our suspect?” the detective asks.
“I don’t,” Jung Ah glances at Kahi. “But Kahi unnie here has suspicion at them.”
“Boss?” Tiffany glances at Kahi, demanding explanation.
“Alright,” Kahi claps her hands. “We don’t know the prince charming is Chameleon or not, actually. But one of the contestants is equal with our victims. And I believe Chameleon won’t miss this chance. We join her show not only catch our killers, but also save this girl.”
“Which one?”
Kahi smiles to see the detective finally looks closer to the file she gave her earlier. She glances at Jung Ah.
“Between Choi Sooyoung and Im Yoona.”
“Two victims?” The detective raises her brows. “I think that’s not Chameleon’s MO, right?”
“Nope, but one of them can be Chameleon female version. She can pretend to be rich girl to be friend with the potential victim,” Kahi said. “We will put you in the same room with one of them.”
Tiffany glances at her partner who seems in her deep thought.
“And by the way, the prince charming isn’t the only one suspect for male version,” Kahi adds. “In her new production, she hires a new cameraman, the one who will follow them around. It can be his way to find his victim, right? Or maybe we still don’t know how many actually this Chameleon.”
“So basically, you assign me to save an unknown little fish in shark pool?” the detective asks. “You’re kidding, right?”
Tiffany rolls her eyes. It seems like we’re going back to page one again. (A/N : literally page one because in my laptop this is page 2 :P)
“You like challenge, right, Detective Jung?” Kahi smirks. “Read those files and I want you to be ready for tomorrow.”
“One last question, why me? Not her? ” Jessica demands, pointing at her partner. “ I think she’s more suits for this kind of show, right?”
Kahi glances at Jung Ah, giving her permission to explain.
“In this show.... the mean girl is more needed than bubbly one. That’s why I pick you,” Jung Ah sheepishly smiles.
At this moment, Detective Jessica Jung is ready to throw the table out of the window.
