'Uncle!! Wake up!! You have to send me to the field now!!' Daehan jumped onto Eric and shook his body hard.

'Whyyyyyyy?' he whined.

'Because I have a game! Now, wake up!!' he yelled.

'Ask your mum'

'Mum asked you to send me!' 

Eric opened his eyes widely. How can he forget about that?!

'Okay okay, give me 5 minutes to get change. You wait downstairs' 

Daehan groaned in annoyance but obeyed his beloved uncle's words.

(At the field) 

'Don't cheat and play fairly' Eric reminded his nephew.

Daehan nodded and grinned widely, 'Okay, uncle. See you later!' 

'See you later, buddy! Be careful okay' 

When Eric tried to find a spot for him and his sister, he noticed that some of the girls (the kids' sisters) cleared up their seat for him when before, they put their stuff on it. But he ended up sitting at the highest sitting area.

(30 minutes later)

'You're late' Eric commented as soon as Erica arrived.

'I know I know. It's just that there are some problems at the gallery' Erica said anxiously.

Eric could just rolled his eyes, 'Just so you know, Daehan's team is winning. 3-1, Daehan scored one'

'YES! THAT'S MY BABY!' Erica couldn't help but to scream happily. 

Unfortunately, when she screamed the opponent team scored one score. All the people at their area giving a weird look at Erica causing her to feel embarrassed.

Eric chuckled and scoffed, 'Serve you right'

'Shut up' she hissed.

(After the game)

'Hurry up, Eric!' Erica said and had already making her moves towards Daehan.

'I'll follow from behind' Eric said while still focusing on his phone. 

He suddenly received calls, text messages and emails from his company saying that he needed to come to the company as soon as possible.

'Mr. Mun, you have to come to the company!' Lara exclaimed when Eric picked up the phone.

'Why should I? I took a day-off' Eric replied. He hated going to the company for work.

As he was walking closer to where Daehan was at, his nephew said, 'Uncle, Uncle! I want to introduce you to my coach. His name is Teacher Shin Hyesung!' 

Upon hearing the name, Eric looked up and saw Hyesung's shocking face. He quickly put his phone into his pocket.

'E-Eric-ah?' Hyesung slowly called.

'H-Hi, Hyesung' Eric smiled awkwardly. 

He couldn't believe that he will meet Hyesung here.

'Eric-ah!' Hyesung said happily as his doubt towards the guy gone.

'Teacher, you know about my uncle?' Daehan suddenly asked.

'Uncle?' Hyesung looked at him with confusion.

Daehan nodded.

'Eric is my friend!' he said proudly.

'He is also my uncle!' Daehan too said proudly.

Erica faked a cough and sent a signal to Eric that made him blush, 'So, this is Eric's new friend. I didn't know that you would be his friend, Hyesung' Erica looked at Hyesung.

'Yeah, he is a good friend!' Hyesung giggled softly.

'You know Hyesung?' Eric asked with confusion.

'Of course! He is one of the volunteers in Daehan's soccer club'

Oh yeah, Erica had mentioned about it before.

'Yeah, he is good in soccer but better in basketball' Daehan praised while giving Hyesung a thumbs-up.

'No... No, I'm not' he blushed.

Erica chuckled, 'Good work for today, Hyesung. Daehan, say goodbye to teacher' she gestured.

'Bye bye, teacher. Thanks for today!' Daehan grinned widely and hugged him.

'Bye bye, Daehan' he hugged tighter.

Eric faked a cough and whispered, 'Sis, I think I'll stay for awhile. Plus, I have to go to the office later' he tried to make excuses to stay with Hyesung.

'Yeah right' she rolled her eyes and continued, 'Promise that you'll tell me everything' 

'Can't promise you anything' Eric winked.

Erica pouted, 'Let's go, Daehan. Uncle is getting rid of us' she joked.

After Erica and Daehan gone, Eric looked at Hyesung and asked, 'Do you want to go get some lunch?'

'Okay!' Hyesung cheekily nodded.

Eric called Hyesung's mum and after getting her approval, they drove off.

'I have something to do in the office. But after I done my work, we'll go somewhere to eat' Eric informed.

'Okay!' 

Eric parked his car right in front of the building. When they both got off from the car, Hyesung's jaw dropped.

'Your office is SO BIG' he said in awe.

'Hahaha, yeah it is. Now, let's go inside' 

He went up to his office's level and since it was Friday, people are still working. When the elevator was opened, they were shocked to see Eric because the handsome guy took an off-day. When he walked, he realised that Hyesung froze in his spot.

'What's wrong?' Eric asked. 

He knew that something was wrong when Hyesung didn't do anything. Hyesung quietly gestured him to come to him.

'I don't like it' Hyesung whispered.

'Don't like what?' 

'People staring... Did I do something wrong Eric-ah?' Hyesung looked up to him.

Eric looked around the office and noticed that some people were whispering and some just looked at Hyesung oddly. 

'What are you guys looking at?' Eric said loudly.

Everyone froze and stared elsewhere.

'They're not staring anymore. Now, can we please walk into my office?' 

Hyesung nodded. Eric sighed in relieved and dragged Hyesung by holding his wrist.

'You can sit at the sofa while I do my work' Eric said and sat at his own chair.

'Don't make a mess okay' he ordered.

Hyesung nodded obediently.

After some time, Eric seemed to be anxious and Hyesung realised that. And him being Hyesung couldn't help but to ask.

'Are you okay Eric?' 

'Hmm, I'm okay. Just wait there okay' Eric said without looking at him.

Hyesung just pouted sadly when Eric didn't give his attention to him.

He saw a bunch of papers on the table that was filled with numbers. Despite being autistic, Hyesung loves number and he was good at it. Even his specialist acknowledged that. As he was looking at the papers, he realised that something was wrong with the numbers.

'Eric, what is this?' Hyesung asked.

'Our financially papers. Just leave it there, I'll clean it up later'

'Did you do this?' 

'Do what?' Eric looked at him. Hyesung flung the papers gently.

'This'

'No, my secretary did that'

'Your secretary made a mistake'

It caught Eric's attention.

'What do you mean?' he raised his eyebrows.

'The numbers are wrong. It shouldn't be like that!' Hyesung said confidently.

To be honest, Eric didn't know whether he should believe Hyesung or not. But either way, he tried to play along.

'Alright, which one?' Eric asked after he sat beside Hyesung.

'This! It shouldn't be like this!' 

Eric sighed silently and took the paper. He looked at the figures that Hyesung was pointing. 

3...2...1...

'What the hell?!' Eric was surprised by the figures.

Eric jumped happily as he found out the cause of all his problems. He unconsciously hugged Hyesung tightly and kept thanking the younger guy.

'Thank you! Thank you so much, Hyesung! You made my day!' he said with joy.

'Did I make you happy?' Hyesung blinked his eyes which to Eric, he looked so adorable like a lost cat.

'Yes, you did. Now, wait for me here and don't wander around' Eric told him.

Hyesung nodded. Eric smiled and did his usual. Ruffling Hyesung's hair.

'Gather all the staffs' Eric turned cold when he talked to Lara.

Lara gulped nervously. She knew that her boss was in a bad mood.

'Do you know why are we here?' Eric asked.

Nobody answered. They were all so quiet and froze at their spot.

'Let me tell you something' Eric spoke up.

Everyone looked at him with their pupils shaking.

'You can lie to other people, but not me. So, don't even bother lying to me. Am I clear?' 

They nodded.

'Good. I check... No, wait. My friend went through the financial status while waiting for me to finish work. And you know what he saw?'

They shook.

Eric turned into Lara, 'Lara, is this correct?' he asked.

'Based on what I received, yes' she nodded.

'You know what's funny? The person that you gossiping about and staring at earlier noticed something that everyone including me couldn't'

Everyone had become more curious.

'Someone has been stealing company's money! So now, I would want to know who. I don't fcking care about your reasons!' Eric said loudly.

All the staffs looked at each other and shrugged their shoulder. At this point, Eric unloaded his anger and frustrations. When it comes to money, don't you dare try to mess with Eric because he is sensitive about it.

Suddenly, a knock was heard.

'WHO THE HELL IS KNOCKING?!' Eric yelled. 

Lara quickly opened the door and everyone could see Hyesung who peeked inside with his hands on his ears.

'It's too loud... I don't like' Hyesung muttered.

Eric was stunned. 

Did he shout too loudly? 

Can Hyesung heard him? 

God, he didn't want Hyesung to see him in rage again!

'I'm sorry' Eric sighed and took a deep breath and gestured Hyesung to come in. 

Hyesung slowly made his way beside Eric.

'Did you hear everything?' 

Hyesung shook his head, 'Only some but I cover my ears like this' he said and put his hands on his ears again.

Thank goodness!

'Good then. Now, let's go grab some lunch. I'm hungry' Eric said.

'I'm hungry too'

Before he walked out with Hyesung, he looked at all the staffs.

'Since no one is admitting, Lara is going to make a police report and when they caught the person who is responsible about this, I will make his or her life miserable as fck' he threatened and leave.

'Where should we eat, Eric?' Hyesung asked after they were in the car.

'I don't know. You can decide'

'Hmm...'

Hyesung frowned his eyebrows as he was trying hard to think and he placed his fingers on his chin. Eric never got tired seeing that gesture every time Hyesung think.

'I want to eat cake!' 

'Cake?'

'Strawberry cake!' 

'I know just the place' Eric smiled.

'Do you want to share?' Hyesung offered.

'Yes, I would want to' 

'Wah, this place is so pretty' Hyesung's eyes lit up when he looked around in the cafe.

'Let's order your cake before sitting down, Hyesungie' Eric called him to the counter.

In the display chiller, there were so many type of cakes and Hyesung felt like he wanted to eat them all. But what captured his attention was his favourite. Strawberry shortcake.

'Eric! Eric!' Hyesung called.

'What is it?'

'Can I have this one? Pleaseeee... It looks yummy!' Hyesung pleaded.

'Alright' he nodded. 

'Excuse me' Eric called the waitress.

'Yes, sir?' she smiled sweetly.

'Tell her what do you want, Hyesung' Eric gestured. 

'Can I have this cake please?' Hyesung grinned widely.

'Nice choice, sir. Apparently, this is our signature cake' she said with a friendly tone.

'Really? Then, it must tastes delicious!' Hyesung remarked.

'It is! Just take a seat and I'll bring the cake to you' 

'Okay! Thank you!' Hyesung bowed politely.

After Eric paid at the counter, they sat beside the window while waiting for the cake. Hyesung looked really happy when the waitress brought his cake. He offered some to Eric but the older guy just declined because he wanted to look at Hyesung who was enjoying his cake. As Hyesung were eating, they talked about birthdays.

'Mum always buy me a cake for my birthday. Do yours buy for you?' Hyesung asked after taking another bite of his cake.

Eric shook his head.

'Why not?' he frowned.

He just shrugged his shoulder as a reply, 'Maybe she is just busy with her work'

Hyesung held Eric's hand and said, 'It's okay, Eric-ah. I'm going to bake you a cake on your birthday'

'Then, you probably have to bake it next year' he smiled.

'Am I too late for your birthday?' Hyesung pouted with sadness.

'Just 7 months late' 

'Hmm... Then, I'll bake a VERY BIG cake for you' he suggested.

'But do you know how to bake a cake?' 

Hyesung kept quiet.

'You don't, right?' Eric laughed.

'Y-Yah, don't laugh! I know how. I just need to ask mum for help' he pouted.

'Do you want to bake it together?' Eric tried to console.

'No, go away'

'We can bake strawberry shortcake as my birthday cake' he tried again.

'Fine, we'll bake strawberry shortcake' Hyesung said. 

Eric knew that he pretended to be still sulking because he saw a very faint smile on Hyesung's face.

(Next day)

'Eric! Eric!' Hyesung called after he opened the door.

'Yes?' Eric paused when he was about to open his car door.

'I want to give you this!' 

Hyesung hid a card behind his back and when he said it, he gave it to Eric.

'What's this?'

'I made it at school just now!' Hyesung said happily.

When Eric looked at the card, it was a handmade card. It wrote 'Happy Birthday, Eric' with a heart symbol next to it. The handwriting was Hyesung's definitely as Eric recognised his handwriting. When he opened it, he assumed Hyesung cut coloured papers round shapes as the balloons. There was a section where Hyesung wrote a personal message.

"Eric-ah, happy belated birthday! I'm sorry I wasn't there on your birthday. Most probably I didn't know you that time hahaha! I promise that we'll celebrate your birthday next year okay ^^" 

Eric wouldn't lie if he said he was so touched by Hyesung's birthday card. No one had given him a handmade item and that was the first. 

'T-Thank you, Hyesungie. I-I really love it' Eric said, still feeling touched.

'Really? You love it?' Hyesung asked with anticipation. 

'Yes, I love it' 

'Hurray! You love my card!' Hyesung started jumping up and down happily.

'I'll keep this forever, thank you Hyesungie. You should go inside now, it's getting cold' Eric gestured.

'I think I should. Night night, Eric!' he waved goodbye before heading inside.

'Goodnight, Hyesungie' he waved back.

Before Eric went to bed, he stared at the card for about 30 minutes. Honestly, he didn't expect that Hyesung would made this lovely card for him. He reminded himself to frame the card and hung it on the wall.
