Yoona POV

It's been hours since I dropped Nana off. During the entire time, I've sat in the driver's seat, thinking of her earlier words.

"What kind of safety are you talking about? I've never felt any sense of security after our parents unexpectedly died that night. You still haven't told me their causes of death even though you are the only one who holds the information, Unnie. You never tell me anything! This is exactly why I can't bring myself to trust you again."

She can't be serious, right? I've always been there for Nana, comforting her when she was at her weakest and providing for the both of us. She must've gotten caught up in her anger; not knowing what she was saying.

Anxiety and worry begin to build inside me. I reach over and grab my phone, dialing Nana's number. The phone rings and rings until someone eventually picks up. But it's not my sister.

"Hello, Im Yoona," an all-too familiar voice greets me. My eyes widen and fear replaces my nerves. Of course it's Kim Jaejoong on the other end.

"Why do you have Nana's phone?" I ask cautiously, afraid of the reason.

"Oh, she left it on the table to go to the restroom. We're just having a little lunch break before I return her back to you." I can sense he's smirking. I shut my eyes, attempting to wipe away the cruel reality. No such luck. I don't want to believe it.

"What do you want, Jaejoong? I already agreed to help you with your...business. Why involve my sister? I thought you said no harm would come to us," I remind him, thinking back to our short discussion in the kitchen. 

"Now, now, I admit I promised 'no harm will come to either of you.' But I didn't say I wouldn't try to approach and befriend Nana on my own," he counters my statement, "I am nothing if not loyal and honest, Yoona."

"More like cunning and deceiving," I mutter under my breath, and he hears me.

"Everyone has their own intentions and tactics," he agrees, "I just cover mine up better, yes."

"So why involve Nana when I specifically told you not to?" I ask, then remember Kim Jaejoong is a fugitive; he follows no one's words and can't be trusted. "Never mind. Forget I asked."

He answers my question anyway. "Nana is interesting and much better than you, in my opinion. I'm not sure what I want to do with her, th
