Krystal’s Pov

The next morning the first thing I noticed was that my car was in the driveway. Right where she said it would be. It was 6:30, she must’ve gotten up so early to get it here. Or one of her siblings did. Seeing the car there reminded me that last night actually happened. I had a real conversation with her. And she wasn’t mean. Not at all. There was even opening the car door thing. Have I been completely misjudging her? I’m not sure about anything anymore. I just know that I can’t wait to see her again. I didn’t do much the rest of the day. I spent the day around the house finishing homework. When Monday morning finally came I woke up, and went to look out my window. And I noticed that it was an unusually sunny day. Since I’ve been here I haven’t seen blue sky for more than a couple hours. But there were few clouds in the sky today. Finally a day without umbrellas, raincoats, or rain boots. I might actually get through the day accident free. I’ve got to get ready. What should I wear today? I want to look nice. I wear t-shirts and jeans everyday. Maybe I could even curl my hair. Ugh…what is happening to me. When I finally decided on a nicer blouse, some more make up than usual, and to put my hair in a bun I had breakfast and was out the door. When I opened my car door there was a note on my seat. I picked it up smiling, and it read:

Drive safely Juliet. And just in case my number is 770-444-3984.

Juliet. She called me Juliet. But who do I presume is Romeo? Why is she playing these head games with me? I’ll just have to ask, won’t I? I got in the car, and was for the first time looking forward to going to school. Everything was normal until I got to biology class. I sat at our desk, and stared at the door waiting for her to come in, but she didn’t. It was another no show. I couldn’t hide my disappointment. Was everything she said last night for nothing. Was it really always going to be like this with her? I can’t take much more of this. Once I got to lunch I was downright angry. I sat at my regular table, and looked at the empty table which was normally occupied by the Lius. Were they all not here today? Did they all just ditch whenever they wanted?

“So Krystal I was wondering if you were doing anything this Friday night?” I heard Onew ask.

“Friday?” I repeated confused.

“Yeah, I was wondering if you wanted to maybe have dinner with me,” he said slowly. 

Oh no. Seriously? I never get that much attention from guys, and it’s like I don’t want to be mean, but I’m not in anyway interested. 

“You look really nice today,” he added.

“Onew thank you for offering…I just…”

“Are you busy that night? What about the next night?” he asked quickly.

“I’m not really looking to date anyone right now,” I whispered trying not to let the other people at the table hear.

“If you’re not ready than it can be as friends,” he suggested hopeful.
