Hanbin turned as the practice room door flew open and the girl from school hurried in and placed her belongings in the corner before joining the rest of the trainees on the seats at the side of the room.

Shortly afterwards the head instructor came in and everyone stood to attention. Before handing out the monthly schedule for trainees he announced the end of month assessment results 

"B.I, Wonho, Bobby, Jenny and Deena, top bar result" the instructor said loud and clearly before continuing without a beat 

"Jun, Yeungho, Juhyeon and Sera, mid bar result. Mark, Hyemi, K, Changmin and Leena bottom bar" his voice faded in enthusiasm

With that the teacher walked to the side of the room sticking up a further breakdown of the individual marks and ranks for each section for each student and then handed out a schedule broken up based on bar results. Those within the higher bar had more given time to rehearse with the teachers whilst others would be given less time and free rehearsal spaces only in the very early morning or late night shifts. 

The instructor headed back to the front of the rehersal space clearing his voice to call back everyones attention

"Notice there's blank spaces on your schedule this month which you know means group assessment. Use the empty slotted time to figure out when you want to practice and book rooms on the sign up sheet at the front desk. Groups can be between 2- 5 people but now is not the time to start looking for you partners so head off to your practice rooms please"

As the instructor left the room all eyes scanned around anxiously 

Sera's eyes seemed especially anxious as she hadn't been apart of a group assessment before whereas in comparison B.I had a look of ease about him. 

Just before lunch Sera came back to the main rehersal room opening the door to find B.I. lying flat on the ground in the middle of the space breathing hard. 

He sat up looking at Sera and gave a smug smile as if he knew exactly why she was here 

"found a partner yet?" he said self confident 

"uh-um not yet" she replied avoiding eye contact 

He just smiled in return and got up to walk over to the side of the room and pick up a bottle of water. As he did he watched Sera from the side of his eye as she picked up a small black bag in the corner of the room. 

'Is she giving me a present before she asks me to be her partner ... that's new'  B.I thought as she cleared and walked over

She stuck out her hands as B.I slowly took the gift bag and opened it up wearily slightly confused at the situation 

His hands pulled out a long soft black scarf and then the realisation hit him

"I washed it and everything, thank you for letting me borrow it" B.I looked from her to the scarf for a moment 

"so... you're just returning this then... that's it ?" 

she nodded oblivously in reply 

She bowed before starting to walk out before B.I called out her name 

"Yoo Sera" her eyes widened as she thought shocked

he remembers my name

He walked up to her frozen demeanour and squinted staring at her square in the eyes. Stepping back he looked at her for a moment before leaning in closely and looking at her thoroughly again 

"Mid bar Sera, wanna be my partner for the next assessment"

aaah thats how he remembered my name she thought dissapointed

".. wait" she snapped out of her haze 

"we're going to be partners?"

"unless you don't want to be I guess" he said smugly 

The two stood there face to face and as she was about to reply an answer 

ah- ah - AH CHOO !

Hanbin wiped his face with his left hand and looked up glaring at the bright red Sera 

He pushed the gift bag in his hand back into hers 

"Yah, you can keep it" he said sharp as she cowered a bit with embarrassment and she took hold of the woolen black scarf in the bag. A moment passed with a chilly silence as Sera played with the end of the scarf sticking out of the bag as B.I moved away drinking his water with his back to her

"so .. partners?" she said hesitant after having literally just sneezed now twice in the face of this boy 

He just sat back down in the middle of the floor and wiped his face with his towel as she awkwardly stood waiting 

"Mhm" he replied shortly as she turned to leave the room 

"Oi where are you going?" B.I crooked his head and looked up at her from the floor

"huh?" Sera asked unsure 

"Come sit, we have to work out schedules and everything. No more lunch breaks we'll use even this time to work on the piece so come here everyday at breaks."

"Aaraeso B.I sunbaenim" 

Sera and B.I sat cross legged together on the floor talking as the break time ticked by and before they knew it other trainees were piling into the room to use the space in their allocated time

After rehersals B.I walked out of the main building and saw Sera walk out of the building shortly after him. Her red nose made an appearance as he let out a snigger

"Yah, make sure to wear the scarf from now on, you can't ruin your throat and endanger my performance with you"

With that B.I walked off as Sera brightly waved from behind 

"SEE YOU TOMMOROW?!" she yelled into the distance

"mmhm" he said to himself whilst waving without looking back
