We walked in to see faces scattered all around the beautifully decorated hall with white baubles and fairylights adorning the walls. I saw as a group of girls in my music class turned to see me and I gave a small wave as they stared senslessly at Jinhwan oppa and then looked disbelieving at me. I found a round tall table and the two of us stopped there for a moment.

"Do you want a drink?" Jinhwan asked me as I stook just taking in the room full of people

"Umm yeah, I'd love one... and food if you find any" he smiled with a nod and walked off

Awkwardly I stood there for a moment before three girls approached me together and joined me standing around the table 

"Wah, Yoo Sera you look really pretty!" one of them said 

"Thanks, you guys all look really nice too" I replied politely as they smiled and bowed slightly in thanks aswell 

"... so, who did you come with tonight?" said the girl on my left as the other two stared at me waiting patiently for the answer 

"uhum, he's a trainee with me at yg"

"aaaah" they nodded in unison exchanging looks with each other.

"what?" I said hoping for an explanation

"he's really cute Sera, we'd just thought since you hadn't turned up earlier and B.I came with another girl that you probably wouldn't come"

"why wouldn't I come? Hanbin and I are just friends" they looked at each other again

"well we're glad to see you here, looking so lovely with just as lovely a date" the girl opposite me said before they gave each other another one of their stupid secret language looks and walked off waving to me.

Jinhwan came back arms full with drinks and a plate containing obviously everything they had out on the table. 

"thank you" I giggled as I put a gigantic slab of cheese into my mouth. 

We talked together as the night passed by and every now and again someone would come up to us and start a conversation mainly intersted in finding out who Jinhwan oppa was.

"I'll be right back, I'm just going to go fix up my makeup" I said patting him on the arm as I walked away clutch in hand.

Walking into the bathrooms for the first time that night I saw Minji lavishly dressed in a deep blue satin dress and bright red lips that would reel anyone in. 

"Oh! Annyeong unnie, I didn't expect to see you here. You look nice, very you" she said before continuing to fix her hair in the mirror

"well here I am" I replied with a light charisma as I smiled and looked into the mirror and reapplied a light lip gloss

"Are you and B.I having a good night?"

"ofcourse. And you unnie, you must be bored being here alone" 

I shut the cap on my lipstick and smiled slightly 

"Anni, I'm having a great time ... with Jinhwan oppa" I expected her to give me a viscious look in reply but instead she turned to me and laughed so happily for a brief moment.

"I'm so happy for you unnie, I hope you two have a wonderful night" she said as she walked out leaving me confused and annoyed at her delighted reaction.

I picked up my clutch and walked out back towards the table before my eyes shook as they made eye contact with Hanbin. He was wearing a slimming black suit with a black shirt and small black boe tie to match.

"Annyeong" I said as our paths met 

"Hey" he said looking at me

 I started to walk off but

"wait!... Sera" I turned back 

"Do you want to talk... just for a moment? outside maybe?"

I looked over to see Jinhwan talking with a couple we'd been talking to earlier and so I followe Hanbin out to the courtyard. The two of us sat down next to a small fountain in the school on a wooden bench and sat awkwardly for a moment.

"you wanted to talk Hanbin, there must have been something you wanted to say then"

He looked at me in the light of the moon reflecting off of the water flowing in the fountain

"You look really nice today"

"thanks" I said biting my lip "... you look really good too" I said genuine with a smile

"I'm sorry Sera, I'm really sorry"

I looked up at him mouth agape as the words hung in the air

"I didn't mean to, you know say that stuff. It was really irrational and I don't know what was going on"

I sat silent for a moment letting his heart race from the tension before turning around and smiling as I fought out the sting in my eyes, I couldn't afford to ruin my mascara  

"it's okay" 

"are you having a good time?" I asked as the moment passed

"not really, I mean it's okay and not like I expected it to be great but I mean it's living up to my dreary expectations so far"

"what about you"

"umm, I don't know about you Kim Hanbin but the food alone has made this night probably the best night of my life" I said with a laugh as he laughed slightly too

"Yah! Yoo Sera you're too easily bought" he said smiling a smile I'd wanted to see for so long "want to go back in?" 

"Yeah let's go, I'll show you where the food tabe is so you can learn to re evaluate your rating of the night" 

We walked in to see the dance floor packed with couples jumping around dancing happily. 

"want to dan-" but before he finished I felt a hand at the nape of my back and turned to see Jinhwan smiling as I smiled back but turned to see Hanbin's face looking as if he saw a ghost.

"Annyeong B.I" 

he didn't reply

"want to dance Sera?" 

"sure" I said brightly "come dance with us" I said pulling Hanbin's hand but he pulled away slightly and smiled

"it's okay, you guys go. I have to find Minji anyway" I nodded feeling that inexplainable numbing again before I walked away with Jinhwan and joined everyone else jumping to the music.

As the music began to slow down my feet felt like they were going to fall off so I took off my shoes and held them in my hands as the rested behind Jinhwan oppas neck and we danced slowly and a thought suddenly hit me. How did Jinhwan know to wait for me today... he wouldn't have been in the building for the power outage if his rehersal got cancelled. I looked up at him as he crooked his head and gave me a quesioning look

"what's wrong?"

"oppa...the power outage today-"

"aaah, I did it" he replied cooly as I couldn't hide my look of suprise to which he smiled

"Yoo Sera it's not that hard, you just go to the back of the building and cut the wires, nobody will ever know"

he laughed as my eyes widened further

"your eyes are going to pop out" he said as he took one of my hands and placed it into his and left the other with shoes in hand hanging over his shoulder and gave me a small spin. 

"you didn't have to do something like that for me-"

"it's okay, I don't mind" he said before continuing to dance as if nothing happened at all. I lay my head slightly against his chest and let him lead me.

B.I danced with Minji as she stared at him and he only stared elsewhere. She followed his line of sight and turned her head slightly to see Jinhwan and Sera together. She sighed as she grinded her teeth and let go of his hands and he looked at her confused.

"Let's not dance anymore, let's just go talk outside"

B.I's eyes flickered away before joining Minji again. 

"Do you mind if we just leave?" he said to her 

"... leave?" 

"hmm" he said eyes still trained on Sera and Jinhwan "I just feel tired"

"oppa" she said and pulled him by the arm to the front of the building where they'd entered and B.I just followed silently

"let's breakup" she said matter of factly

"huh?" B.I replied confused 

"Minji .. we weren't tog-"

"It was fun" she said before picking up the hem of her dress and walking away

"Yah! where are you going?" he said running up behind her "let me take you back to the dorms"

"Fine, but stay 2 metres behind me at all times" she replied without looking back and headed out of the main gates as B.I followed cautiously behind

The two arrived at the building as Minji went to step into the elevator

"Mianhae, Minji" he said softly looking at her without knowing why

"See you later oppa" she said without ever meeting his eye.
