"Yah, Junhyung. It's your thirteenth task," Doojoon tosses him a parchment as he folds his black wings. "Get ready to fulfill her wish, will you?"

"I bet she will ask for her life to be spared," Junhyung scoffs. He is reading the profile of his next 'client'.

She is a young girl named Kim Yeona. She just celebrated her twenty-first birthday two month ago. Her death date will be November 11st and she will die because of a plane accident.

"I'm leaving," Junhyung spreads his black wings, ready to go and meet the unlucky girl. It is a rainy day in the late of October and Junhyung doesn't like rain but he can't change the fact that the rain always fall whenever he is going to meet his 'client'.

"Junhyung," Doojoon calls his name to make him turn around, standing still to wait his 'senior' to say something. "I'm sorry."

"What for?" Junhyung frowns, wondering about what Doojoon is talking about.

Doojoon is the one who helped him when he worked for his first task as Angel of Death. Doojoon taught him about fulfilling the wish and treating the 'client's respectfully. He is the one who taught him to call the people they will meet as 'client's, not 'victim's.

There are other Angels of Death but Junhyung has a really deep respect towards Doojoon.

"Nothing," Doojoon replies with a mysterious smile. "Sorry for making you work in the rain again. I hope you will get along with her."

"Getting along in thirteen days with an Angel of Death is not a good news for her," Junhyung mutters with monotone. He never tried to use any expression whenever he talked or did something; he thinks it's useless. He is an Angel of Death and he has nothing to do with such a thing called feeling.

Junhyung arrives at Yeona's house. She is living with her sister in an apartment but her sister is currently working at her office so Yeona is all alone right now in her room which makes Junhyung's work easier; he doesn't need to make Yeona looks like a lunatic one who talks to no one since ordinary people can't see Junhyung unless they are going to die soon.

A girl with curly black long hair is sitting on her bed, hugging a big white teddy bear with her eyes close. She has a smile on her face while the melodies of piano is echoing in her room; she plays the music from her notebook she put on the table.

Junhyung steps closer to the girl without any sound. He doesn't even make a single noise by his footsteps. He looks at the girl and he is sure that the girl is Kim Yeona.

Suddenly Yeona straightens her body and looks up at Junhyung's eyes' direction but her eyes are still closed. She tilts her head and smiles, "Can I help you?"

As Junhyung wonders how this girl knows about his presence with her eyes closed, Yeona opens her eyes slowly with a curve stays on her pink lips.

"Kim Yeona," Junhyung says her name without any change in his tone. "I'm an Angel of Death. You have thirteen days until your last day. I am here to fulfill your last wish. Any wish."

Based on his experiences, everyone who listened to his explanation would accuse him as a crazy person. They would laugh him or gave him looks that made him looked like he was a delusional patient. No one ever believed in Angels of Death.

"Ah," Yeona puts down the teddy bear next to her side carefully after feeling the empty space on the bed with her fingers, "do you mean you can grant me anything as my last wish?"

For his surprise, she doesn't give him an ordinary reaction. Junhyung finds it a little bit surprising but he doesn't change his expression nor tone.

"Any wish," Junhyung repeats. He knows that the girl will ask him to let her live. Everyone wants that. No one wants to die.

"Thirteen days. It means after November 10th, right? It's alright then," Yeona touches her lips with her finger as if she is thinking about something important. "Can I wish to let people I love to send me away with smile?"

Yeona shifts to give a space for Junhyung to sit. She pats the bed twice with her eyes are staring at the ground, "Let's talk a little bit more."

At the moment, Junhyung realizes that this girl named Kim Yeona is blind.

This story is mostly inspired by a Japanese manga by Tanemura Arina, "Searching for the Full Moon".
This story is also inspired by a Japanese movie, "Accuracy of Death", starred by Takeshi Kaneshiro.
