Love & Trust

All's Well What Ends...Well?

That one was surely a bright morning, with a full blue shaded sky cleared from clouds. It was one of those day that would have surely lifted Ryeowook's mood up, making him all giggly and happy, energizing him to the point that he could plan many wonderful dates with his boyfriend, if they were still in Paris.

But not Kyuhyun's.

Kyuhyun was sitting in his car, parked at the side of the road in which Donghae and Eunhyuk's apartment was located. Since he had just received a text message saying that the pianist had finally finished his work, Kyuhyun was waiting for Ryeowook to reach him, not without dealing with his bunch of same doubts and fears, this time much worsened by the facts happened just during the past night.

The young man honestly didn't remember anything about it. He recalled being fully immersed in a one-sided conversation, to defend his right of marriage with Ryeowook, before being invited by Jiwon to have some drinks together, and vent his frustrations there, cursing the situation which he was stuck in.

With eyes transfixed on the thin tree planted in front of him at the side of the road, studying it with no real interest, he rested his left elbow on the frame of the window and brought his fisted hand before his mouth, which used to nibble the back of his index fingers, as if that act could help him release his terrified fears, his burining anger, his deep shame and his stinging guilt.

Kyuhyun suddenly moved, as if suddenly charged with an electric shock, and punched the steering wheel with much strength, getting his white knuckles fully red and bruised for the impact. He let out a loud growl as he lifted his chin up and tried to hold back rushing, furious tears that already soaked his lashes.

The least thing he wanted to do was crying. He was sick of tears, after watching many of those known watery droplets roll on Jiwon's cheek earlier that morning.

He woke up at the sound of muffled cries on the pillow next to his, and, though much dizzy and exhausted, he rolled on his hip to peek at the source of that annoying noise. The young man lifted his heavy eyelids and grunted, distractedly rubbing one hand all over his face, before insisting on his eyes, hoping to have them fully open by the time he had finished poking them with his fingertips.

Those cries were getting louder and louder, and came from a curled up lump under the bed sheets. There was a figure hidden in a soft sponge bathrobe, that Kyuhyun didn't recognize as one item from his house stuff, just like everything else in that unfamiliar surrounding that still wasn't clear in his mind.

When he had leaned over the figure, to check the identity hidden under those layers of fabric, his dizziness and banging headache seemed to disappear with a snap, leaving him and being replaced with a horrified look of astonishment. And Kyuhyun froze, because the other person rose from the bed sheets and directed two big, puffy, red eyes at his face.

Jiwon sobbed louder and dived in Kyuhyun's arms, asking to be comforted as a first thing in the morning.

Not knowing what to do, unsure of what had possibly happened, startled, puzzled and very much confused, Kyuhyun moved his frozen arms from his sides and hugged the girl, patting her back.

"J-Jiwon?" Kyuhyun managed not to drop his jaw that wide due to the shock, but anyway then stuttered the girl's name, this time inavertedly looking at her smooth bare neckline peeping out from the collar of the garment, and understanding that she was definitely , if not for that humble bathrobe that covered her.

Gulping, he pushed her away from his improvised, awkward hug and quickly brought together the two sides of that bathrobe, so she could cover herself better. His flushed cheeks betrayed his tremendous uneasiness before that situation, not wanting to admit the tiny possibility of having done something wrong to her, to himself...to Ryeowook...what else was to be left to his imagination, if he was slowly yet tremendously slamming against the hard truth?

"Te-tell me that...we..." cautiosly, he began looking for a way to ask his questions, unsure whether to really want to look for answers "We didn't...right?"

"Kyuhyun!" she cried even more, sharing a seemingly unstoppable river of tears, while she clinged yet again around his broad shoulders, and nuzzled her wet face under the crook of his neck "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't want this to happen..." she was interrupted by a loud hiccup that choked her breath "...you didn't want it either..."

"Wh-what happened?"

Jiwon finally found the courage to exit her little hideout and lift her head, lucid eyes drowning in a sea of tears, enhancing fear and displeasure, not to mention a whole lot of apparent guilt. And looking into those eyes was as if Kyuhyun could read a book, whose story contents he knew by heart. Right, no need to imagine things anymore...then.

The man gritted teeth and tried to free himself of that bothering, clingy touch that wasn't coming from the only person he'd have allowed to lean on his body like that. He sprung from his side of the bed, leaving the girl knelt alone in the middle of it, and stayed still for a while, looking at the double bed and its crumpled sheets with a disbelieved expression. Behind the hand that had just furiously rubbed and slapped his cheeks, as when trying to wake up from a hellish nightmare, he hid his mouth dropped wide open.

"It's not possible! Come on, Jiwon! I'm someone else's, how could I make this huge mistake without thinking of the consequences?!" Kyuhyun's hoarse voice was slowly warming up, dangerously rising in a scared tone.

"We were both quite drunk and...I swear, Kyuhyun, I'm feeling bad for this, but...look at you, look at us!" Jiwon sounded even more desperate, as she pointed at the half body frame of the man standing before her eyes, and Kyuhyun, for the first time that morning, took a careful look at his own conditions, seeing nothing than his black boxer briefs and a ripped shirt, that poorly covered his otherwise body.

His hand ran through his messy hair and that was when his distressed screamed curse lacerated that silence; his thoughts automatically went to Ryeowook, and to the huge undeserved wound that he'd have inflicted to his lover, once the pianist found out about it. No, it was one night's mistake, Ryeowook didn't have to find out about it, if he were to keep it from him, and he was surely going to keep it from Ryeowook, because that was the only way for him not to hurt his boyfriend.

The only thought of Ryeowook being incredibly aching deep inside his heart because of a stupid error, commited due to the poisoning effect of alcohol, made him sick. Kyuhyun knew that he'd have probably been left from Ryeowook, who, with all the deserved rights, could have broken up their relationship and looked for a better someone, possibly a new person that truly cherished him and didn't fail at handling some drinks when under pression.

Oh, right! Kyuhyun was so stressed out because of the whole marriage topic, that he let himself go to more than a drink, which contributed to the bigger wrongdoing. He was becoming more of a danger to their relationship, than anything else. First the topic of marriage itself, which aroused many insecurities in Ryeowook, then his being too weak and sleeping with random people. That was getting out of hand, it had to finish, or he envisaged a lot more troubles at the horizon.

He couldn't give up on Ryeowook, he was selfish for thinking that, but he probably needed his lover more than what the pianist had ever showed to need Kyuhyun. Was he being too obsessive? Yes, he probably was. But Kyuhyun preferred that way, and never denied the exceptionally overflowing nature of his feelings to Ryeowook.

"What am I supposed to do now? I cheated on my boyfriend! I cheated on the most wonderful person the world has ever known, the man I said I want to desperately marry, Jiwon! Because I was so terribly drunk that I couldn't stand on my two feet!" Kyuhyun didn't know where he fished all that incredible focus while talking right after waking up, but one thing was sure: the huge shock of that discovery surely had woken him for good.

Although his headache was banging more than ever, making his temples dangeroulsy pulsing to the point he'd not be surprised if he were to collapse on the floor soon, there was simply no reason to keep resting in bed and sleep in more. He had to squeeze all his brain cells in order to find a solution to that unwanted problem.

"Kyuhyun" Jiwon called his name. Apparently, she had stopped crying, except for some single hiccups she occasionally still let out, sobbing with her shoulders "...we won't tell anybody..."

Even though he had decided to avert Jiwon's stare, for fear of confirming even more the forgotten occurred events, at that sentence Kyuhyun couldn't help but immediately turn his attention to the girl once again. The man's eyes looked on fire and his furious stare was burning ever so strongly, that Jiwon for a moment really trembled, scared. He was angry at his own stupid self, for falling so easily under the alcohol effect, that he wondered whether sleeping with other people than his own boyfriend could be considered just one of the many side effects drunk people could get. Just like Ryeowook's mania of saying "I love you" so randomly, or crying like a child.

"Why?" he stuttered "Did you plan to tell someone, by chance?!"

"No, it's just..."

"You can count on that! Nobody will ever know this gigantic mistake, least of all Ryeowook!"

"But...I'm feeling guilty! What if he gets to know later? Wouldn't it be easier to tell him now and be forgiven right after..."

Kyuhyun wasn't listening to that nonsense anymore. He turned around the room to fetch all his clothes, shocked to discover that some of them were actually torn apart. He swallowed even harder that sharp, painful lump of guilt stuck in his throat at the thought of his potentially wild behavior in bed. He glanced at the hour on his phone and, pointing at the girl's clothes, ordered: "Quickly, dress up! I'm gonna drop you home and figure out what to do with my personal love life. Promise me that whatever has happened here, you will keep it for yourself, okay?" his round, tired eyes betrayed a flicker of pain, when he re-emerged from one side of the bed, after crawling down to pick his leather belt up from the floor, and threw his last begging gaze at the girl.

"I will" she promised, in the end.

Remembering the whole brusque, shocking awakening, that welcomed that new day, for Kyuhyun was too much.

After dropping Jiwon at her apartment, he headed straight home, where he had a nice shower, tried to eat something despite that annoyingly tight knot his stomach was dealing with since after the harsh discovery, and finally fixed himself, nervously anticipating any incoming news from Ryeowook.

This time a text message from Eunhyuk came, and Kyuhyun mentally blessed his friend for not calling instead, or else he wouldn't know how he'd have reacted once he had heard Ryeowook's sweet voice at the other end of the line. He wasn't ready to face him yet, however, as he waited in his car for the pianist's appearance, he tried out some breathing exercises, in order to lessen that stupid tension he felt heavy on his shoulders, and behave as he normally did.

One wrong step, and Ryeowook would have immediately sensed something wrong was in the air. He had a too perfectly working radar for that kind of things, unfortunately.

The door from the other side clicked open, and that was a signal for Kyuhyun to open his previously shut eyes and turn to look at the graceful, petite man that had just sat on his right side.

"Morning!" Ryeowook comfortably sat at his place, closed the door, fastened his belt and leaned on his left side, to lovingly peck Kyuhyun's cheek.

Kyuhyun tried to open his mouth to reply to that greeting, but his throat was so dry that no sound ever wanted to come up from there. He hummed instead, and proceeded to shift gears, trying to let Ryeowook understand that he had to move from above the gears panel and sit properly at his place, or he wouldn't be able to drive.

Ryeowook smiled, silent, and returned to his place, resting his back against the seat and casually looking at the view flowing outside the window: "You don't have to be that sullen for not sleeping together once" he giggled, clearly amused by a behavior he was misunderstanding "What do I have to do then, when you leave on business trips?" he sighed, tired and content, at the same time, to be together with Kyuhyun in his familiar bubble of intimacy.

Kyuhyun didn't reply, but carefully drove down the road; he mentally tried out possible combos of answers to give his boyfriend, every passing second even more scared of crumbling down that unbearable, pressing silence. His time was ticking: he had to speak, say anything, before Ryeowook could smell something fishy in his odd behavior.

Stopping at a traffic light, he took the chance to turn his head to the side and spy on Ryeowook, but this one had totally fallen asleep without prior notice.

The older man had his head dangerously leaning towards his own left shoulder, as he slipped further down the seat, held up only by the belt around his body; his mouth was slightly open and he breathed regularly between one soft snore and the other.

Moved by the tender sight of Ryeowook collapsing, after what he assumed being one long night of incessant scribbling notes, practice on the piano keys and probably fighting with Donghae over which arrangement sounded better than others, Kyuhyun stretched out a trembling hand and cupped Ryeowook's cheek, lightly pushing his head in a more comfortable position.

Falling asleep and looking as cute and lovely as a little child, was one of Kyuhyun's favorite views, which could only renew his love for the other man. How couldn't he, when every feature of that creature screamed for affection and protection?

That was why his bitter remorse, for keeping a secret as big as cheating, was growing with each glances he stole from that sleeping figure.

Kyuhyun didn't know what to do. He didn't feel like placing again his dirty, sinful hands on Ryeowook's body, though the man needed to be woken up somehow, so to leave the car that was finally parked inside their home's garden, stopped right in front of the empty garage.

The younger man sighed again, troubled by the way his hand quivered, while stretched out to brush the pianist's shoulder and shake him up. In the cold silence, broken only by those small breaths let out by Ryeowook, Kyuhyun felt his heart exceptionally heavy, despite the quick pace that accentuated his hearbeat. In that same silence he feared that his painfully pounding heart might be heard, as if at a strangely increased volume.

Those were the first signals of how little he could endure being a liar, because it didn't matter how capable one was at keeping secrets well hidden, human bodies betrayed insecurity, guilt, sadness or happiness, both positive and negative feelings through little but meaningful gestures: dilated pupils, racing hearbeat, cold sweat, trembling, heavy breathing. If Kyuhyun were to undergo a truth test, machines linked to his body would have surely caught every signal, especially his wildly running pulse, and immediately label him as a big liar.

It couldn't be helped, therefore the only question was what to do? Ryeowook was too sensitive to such things, he was even worse than a truth testing machine himself!

The younger man drew in a sharp, pained sigh, and, as soon as he had finally managed to calm down and took on the hard task to wake Ryeowook, this one jolted a little bit on his own and unvoluntarily dogded the light touch Kyuhyun was about to place on his shoulder. Blinking a few times to the daylight, Ryeowook turned around to recognize the familiar surrounding of Kyuhyun's house and curved his lips in a tired smile. He yawned and stretched a little bit, evidently exhausted: "We're home" he mumbled, shrugging, as he ducked his chin and stretched even farther both his arms as best as he could in the little space of the sports car.

Without even waiting for Kyuhyun to say something, nor noticing the man's strange silence, Ryeowook soon exited the car and got up, dragging with his feet that wobbling tired body up to the threshold: "I'll go straight upstairs to sleep a little more, okay?" he announced.

Kyuhyun was behind him and promptly opened the main door, switching off the anti-theft device and letting that his boyfriend could quietly disappear upstairs. It took him a plentiful of time, after nervously wandering around the main floor, to take his courage to walk upstairs and check on Ryeowook, later.

Kyuhyun had just slided the grey door open and peeked at the bedroom, where he noticed his boyfriend, still dressed in normal clothes, peacefully sleeping in a lump under a couple of spare covers he had found on the nearby velvet softchair. He was too tired to properly get inside the perfectly fixed and folded bed sheets, therefore he opted for that easier solution. He didn't even take the time to pull together the curtains and block the sunlight from entering through the windows.

Rays of sunshine were projected on what little was visible of Ryeowook's face from under the covers, clearly bothering him, because this one had this lovely frown on his face and tried to shut tighter his already closed eyes. Kyuhyun couldn't help but smile at such overflowing cuteness he was witnessing in first person, and his smile got unknowingly wider, when he understood that Ryeowook had dragged his boyfriend's pillow with him under covers. This one snuggled closer to that source of featherly softness and pressed his face down there, puffing cheeks and looking quite like a little hamster.

Forcing his whole self to avert his stare from that precious sight, Kyuhyun walked to the windows and obscured the room by pulling together the curtains. Immediately relaxing his frowning eyebrows, Ryeowook sighed: "Kyu...?" he mumbled, without ever opening his eyes, sure that he had felt Kyuhyun's presence through that caring gesture.

"Yes, baby. I'm here, don't worry. Just sleep, you need it..." Kyuhyun, not knowing exactly how he managed to do it, just reached Ryeowook's side of the bed and hovered the sleeping figure, leaning towards the other man to softly plant a kiss on his forehead. Ryeowook relaxed at once and nodded, this time rolling on his other hip and hugging tighter Kyuhyun's pillow, contentedly inhaling his scent.

Walking out of the room and sliding the door closed again, Kyuhyun leaned against it with his back and rested his head on the hard surface, lifting his eyes to the ceiling and cursing himself under breath in the rudest way possible: "What did I do? I don't deserve you..." he mumbled, hurt, under breath.

Broken and sorrowful, the man took his leave and went once again downstairs, shaking head and running one hand through his hair, as if he could have pushed away his numerous unpleasant thoughts with each brush.

He had his chance to change into more comfortable clothes - a tracksuit bottom, a white tank top and a hoodie - while completing some tasks at home. The man switched on the heat, hoping to warm every space before his boyfriend could wake up; challenged his own cooking skills, as he prepared lunch for himself and spared some for Ryeowook; and, after checking the passing hours without receiving any sign of his meaningful other's awakening, was about to spend that early afternoon alone.

Luckily, he had found things, other than the cheating issue, to get his mind busy, or else he'd have exploded due to too much stress.

Kyuhyun's afternoon was a quiet one.

He sat on the carpet in front of the huge flat tv screen, resting his back against the lower part of the couch and hiding his long legs underneath the big squared low table. Equipped with some snacks, his mug and a whole jar of coffee, not to mention the thick folders of documents someone from his agency had brought him earlier in person, he pushed his eyeglasses on the bridge of his nose and was ready to leaf through each important document.

Sometimes he threw occasional glances at the switched on tv, which showed one boring segment from the economic news at a very low volume, so that the guests' voices resulted less than a buzz. Other times, perhaps too often, Kyuhyun's trained arm fished some chocolate cookies from a plastic bag and munched them with one hand, while the other still took notes and signed papers.

It was at the sight of some little crumbs that the man, clearing them with a quick wipe of the back of his hand, jolted in surprise when a familiar sweet voice was scolding him for his actions: "You know, you're not the one that usually cleans around the house, Kyu..." it was a low warm mumble that filled the otherwise stillness of the house.

Still sitting at his place, Kyuhyun turned to his right side and looked up at the stairs, where Ryeowook was, sleepy and quietly walking down to reach him. This one rubbed his eyes and finally got to the main floor, where the huge open space living room lounge was. Moving around one long couch, Ryeowook knelt beside Kyuhyun and smiled, showing his fully recharged energy after sleeping until late afternoon.

He moved forwards and dived in Kyuhyun's arms, completely taking aback this one, since he had so difficultly avoided to share his touch with Ryeowook earlier, not wanting to stain him with his sins.

Nevertheless, he couldn't deny that he liked, actually loved, holding Ryeowook that tenderly in his arms, and slowly the warmth issued by the pianist's body was making him forget the reason why he was so scared to be by his side. He quickly brought both his arms around Ryeowook's back and tightened his hug, drawing in a long deep breath that ignited his heart with a new blow of life: Ryeowook was his life, and he was so stupid for being scared of one night mistake. After all Jiwon promised, and unless she revealed something, he wouldn't have told him anything. He trusted his friend, plus it was one little secret to keep Ryeowook by his side and love him even stronger than ever, after realizing his stupid error. Usually, errors made sure that important life lessons were learned, and Kyuhyun had surely learned his.

"Did you really miss me that bad?" Ryeowook chuckled as a result of how much he liked being held that way. Leaning against the other man's shoulders, he rested there his head so that his low voice, though still affected by sleep, sounded sensual to Kyuhyun's ears.

Kyuhyun parted a little bit and shyly smiled, not wanting to fully admit why he had missed Ryeowook that bad.

"What were you doing?" Ryeowook curiously asked, glancing at the several papers scattered everywhere on the table surface, the open bag of cookies and the jar of coffee that was almost empty by then. Kyuhyun received what was supposed to be a scolding, stern stare of disapprovement by his boyfriend, who clearly thought that without his cooking Kyuhyun would more likely be starving, and thus decided to opt for a quick way to survive: chocolate cookies.

"Just...working" Kyuhyun replied, blushing after catching Ryeowook's stare directed at the sweets: "I haven't fed myself cookies only, if that's what you're worrying about!" he laughed, a bit nervous, exploiting his longer arm to keep the plastic bag away from Ryeowook's menacing reach. The younger man then let go of his anxiety, once he found out why Ryeowook, who was trying his best to look bothered by the unhealthy eating habits of his boyfriend, didn't look threatening at all.

"Hey..." Kyuhyun slipped one hand under Ryeowook's jaw and cupped his cheek, purring as he approached the man's face, turning it to the left side, where he found a considerable red mark across his cheek "...I love looking at you right after waking up" he confessed, slowly and bravely - for his many pointless fears from the previous night - placing his lips on the mark, trying to soothe it: "Because you're warm, soft and...you smell of our bed sheets". The red mark was a result of sleeping with his face pressed on Kyuhyun's pillow, pretending that this one were Kyuhyun's true figure.

"Then you should have slept with me before" Ryeowook massagged his own cheek, hoping that the annoying mark would leave his skin sooner that way.

"What happened with Donghae's task?" Kyuhyun asked, while Ryeowook continued to lean against his body and, still resting on one of the man's shoulder, attentively studied Kyuhyun's jawline, tracing it gently under the warm touch of his digits. Soon he snorted in reply: "I think I won't touch a keyboard for quite long" he admitted, tired at the only thought of his sleepless night at Donghae's.

"Let's see... Quite long for you surely means less than a week" Kyuhyun , the man's right hip, and resting his left hand on Ryeowook's thigh.

"No, believe me, this time it'll be longer! When he said he wanted my help, he didn't tell me that he actually had to start from the very beginning! Scores were basically blank!" he complained, quite angry "Can you believe that I came up with a song in less than half a day, and I had to soundcheck through the headphones all night long, to avoid disturbing the neighbors? I've still got the same passage of notes echoing in my mind, my headache is getting bigger and bigger"

Kyuhyun scoffed, this time moving his hand from Ryeowook's thigh to his soft hair, it as if he could successfully lessen his boyfriend's headache that way: "And what did Donghae do, while you worked on his behalf?" he asked.

"Luckily, he was writing down the lyrics for the song, so he wasn't really useless. But there was one time at around 4am in which he literally fell asleep on the desk and Eunhyuk, who checked on us from time to time, had the guts to drag Donghae in bed with him! He slept all the night through, while I was diligently working and pretended not to notice, that he disappeared to loudly snore by his husband's side!" he whimpered, tiredly rubbing his forehead on Kyuhyun's shoulder while he snuggled there and clinged around his neck.

"My poor baby" Kyuhyun rested his chin atop Ryeowook's head, whispering his reassuring words.

How was it that he could be that scared by one night mistake, when all he wanted to have was Ryeowook by his side? How was it that his fears were momentarily taking the better side of him, and actually managed to convince him refusing physical contact with Ryeowook again? How?

It was Ryeowook's touch and closeness that could make him slowly erase his concerns and helped him acquire a bit of confidence back. Kyuhyun didn't want to waste any more seconds, to shower his lover of affectionate little gestures like those they were exchanging on that moment. He was genuinely stupid for thinking that keeping Ryeowook away could somehow fix his problem.

"I bet Donghae made you survive with spicy chicken wings, rice cakes and beer, right?" Kyuhyun giggled, really wanting to change topic then.

"How do you know?" a bit shocked, Ryeowook parted from Kyuhyun's shoulder and looked at him quite long, sure that he could grab the nature of Kyuhyun's telepathic powers through scanning his eyes.

"He's my friend, before being yours" Kyuhyun explained "I know him quite well, and I kinda foresaw that you would be probably dealing with a messy tummy. So, I prepared some porridge for you, to ease the burning sesation in your stomach. Aren't you feeling too stuffed?"

Ryeowook nodded and pouted, really feeling his stomach on fire after a long marathon of spicy food, beer, and several mugs of black tea later through the night, to help him stay awake. Kyuhyun moved his hand and placed it on Ryeowook's belly, starting his personal massage on that part of the man's body as well: "Keep going" pleasantly receiving the massage, Ryeowook ordered him with a muffled purr, which soon turned in a peck on Kyuhyun's neck.

"Aren't you even a tiny bit hungry? Look at what hour you got up! If you don't eat, I'll be vary sad" Kyuhyun laughed, delighted by Ryeowook's reaction. Whenever he enjoyed a quiet round of cuddles like that one, Kyuhyun couldn't help but think of petting an extremely cute puppy, with the only difference that Ryeowook actually responded to each , each touch, each whisper and each kiss in a deeper and more likeable way than a true puppy, making him feel happy and alive.

"What did you say you cooked?" Ryeowook seemed slightly interested then, not wanting to waste Kyuhyun's unsteady cooking efforts.

"Porridge, your favorite one. The one you usually eat when you're too tired, or sick, or simply when you want to have something lighter"

"Egg porridge? The one I taught you to cook?" Ryeowook widened eyes in an expression of pleased surprise. When Kyuhyun nodded, feeling proud and accomplished for stirring all that interest in Ryeowook, this one immediately grabbed his neck and leaned in for a sweet kiss, paying him back for all his efforts, since he knew that Kyuhyun didn't cope that well with whatever belonged to the kitchen area: "Then, maybe I'll go and let me cuddle by your tasty dish, before..." he pecked one last time Kyuhyun's lips and parted, getting up from the floor and walking to the kitchen.

"Before? I thought you wanted some real cuddles now!" Kyuhyun's voice rose just that much to be heard by Ryeowook. This one stopped right under the kitchen door frame and turned around, sticking his tongue out to Kyuhyun: "I've been sleeping until now, this means that I will be awake later tonight, I'll probably not know what to do, besides staring at the ceiling from our bed. But, since you always come up with the best ideas for entertainment purposes, I'll entrust you to take care of my boredom. The real day starts now for us, Kyu, and it'll be long...too long, if we don't fill it!" he chuckled after disappearing in the kitchen, leaving wide space to whatever kind of allusion Kyuhyun could get through those words.

The younger man shook briefly his head, as if to wonder how exactly he ended up being together with such a strange man, but, thinking the best of it, he smirked and grinned, enthusiast and excitingly anticipating the following up plans. He briefly scribbled some other notes on the paper, keeping his delighted grin on his face, and some minutes later Kyuhyun was already straightening his back and opening arms, in order to envelop Ryeowook, as this one wanted to sit between his legs.

The older man took place on that comfortable seat, crossing his legs under the table, and setting down what he had brought on a tray from the kitchen: his heated bowl of porridge with a spoon, two tall empty glasses and a jar of still water.

"Did you bring everything?" Kyuhyun asked, widening his long stretched legs to accomodate his lover and securing him there by placing a hand on his left hip. He was still in the middle of reading some important lines from a document, and leaned lightly on his right side in order to do it better and faster. When Ryeowook silently nodded though, busy with filling both glasses and stirring the steamy content of his bowl, Kyuhyun had to stop and set aside those paper and, attracted - or distracted - by his boyfriend's presence, he shifted again towards the man, to nuzzle on this one's nape, casually leaving small pecks, which made Ryeowook wince and giggle at the same time.

"How is it?" Kyuhyun inquired once again, hoping of improving his non-existent cooking skills little by little. He accuratedly piled up all the papers and tucked them into their initial paper folder, shoving it somewhere on the nearby couch.

"Oh, didn't you check it while cooking?" Ryeowook asked, swallowing a spoonful down. When Kyuhyun shook his head in reply, he took half a spoon of his late lunch and, blowing gently on it to cool it down, directed it before the other man's mouth, who obediently ate what was being offered and even his lips: "It's better than what I expected!" his eyes sparkled, as he grinned and nodded, tasting that rare victory he was granted against the kitchen, which, as years went by, personified itself in a true invincible enemy, according to him.

"It is, be proud of yourself" Ryeowook smiled and resumed eating on his own "At least, you're not poisoning me"

Later, a little scoff somewhere behind his shoulder, interrupted Ryeowook from finishing eating all his porridge. Kyuhyun was silent again and rested his forehead on his boyfriend's back, trying to suppress some sighs: "Kyu...?" but no one replied.

"Kyu...?" Ryeowook stilled, widening eyes, feeling Kyuhyun's hands firmly grabbing him by the waist and yet again keeping his head down, glued between the older man's shoulder blades: "Kyu!" this one exclaimed, both worried and annoyed, and he shifted around still holding his empty spoon, but wanting to check on Kyuhyun.

"What's wrong, Kyu? Tell me! Are you hungry?" he asked, unsure of what was the reason behind the man's behavior. He tentatively held once again the spoon in Kyuhyun's direction, offering his food, but this one refused, turning his head on the other side.

Ryeowook, this time seriously concerned, left his bowl and tried to focus his whole attention on to the other man, seeking for his cheeks to cup and hold in his hands, wanting to find an answer concelead in Kyuhyun's deep dark eyes. As worried as he was, to reveal his little mistake, the young man couldn't hide his own hurt soul and that stubborn acts didn't make him look less suspicious.

"I..." he began, uncertainty staining his otherwise steady voice "...Ryeowook, I..."

"You?" for a bunch of seconds, Ryeowook moved his eyes from Kyuhyun's eyes to his lips, and noticed how this one nervously chewed them, almost as if he could eat the soft flesh and torturingly scratch it in between his perfect white teeth. That thing made the pianist unconsciously anxious, as he was kept hanging by Kyuhyun's interruption of words.

"You...?" Ryeowook repeated again, ecouraging him to keep going on.

"I...had a nightmare tonight!" Kyuhyun unexpectedly blushed and stammered, as he proceeded to speak with unusual speed, risking to fumble on his own words: "I was all alone and I guess the atmosphere played a very bad trick on my subconscious, but maybe not having you by my side just made it feel even worse. I dreamed that you left me, Ryeowook, that you broke up with me because I cheated on you, and no matter what I told you to explain my position, you simply decided to leave me for good, not coming back to me anymore! I was so scared! I couldn't sleep at all! I hate sleeping without you, baby! I simply..." Kyuhyun's rushed words made him pant lightly and gasp for air, and Ryeowook's sudden peck, which was pressed on his lips both to relieve his anxiety and to suppress that stupid nonsense babbling, prevented him to breathe properly...until Ryeowook let go.

"Stop it! Stop it Kyu! What exactly did you have for dinner yesterday?!" the pianist talked with a note of concern, holding Kyuhyun's face close to his own and blowing his hot breath on this one's cheek, as he leaned in for another soothing kiss.

Kyuhyun's mouth trembled and he gasped again, looking rather a dumb lost fish without his proper natural element. He didn't understand Ryeowook's reaction, but he didn't understand his own as well. To be fairly honest with himself, he was about to crumble down the heavy weight of guilt and remorse, he was on his way to hell for almost telling Ryeowook the truth, but instead that strange little mechanism within himself, that worked like a safety device, convinced him to change completely his mind. Thus he lied and pretended that his worries were issued by a dream he had never had, in truth.

"Why are you asking me about dinner? What does it have to do with what I told you?"

"I wondered if you had a heavy meal. Sometimes such stupid, meaningless dreams can happen, if you go to bed with a too stuffed stomach" Ryeowook explained, blinking innocently, as he curved his mouth in a little pout.

Kyuhyun shook his head, denying the heavy meal hypothesis. He looked down and all he saw was the tangle of Ryeowook's crossed-legs held between his, while sitting on the floor. The sight was eventually averted, when Ryeowook held his chin in one hand to lift his face. Their eyes were once again leveled at the same height and Kyuhyun felt not entirely able to bear the inquiring ones he was looking straight into. But Ryeowook, wanting to keep on comforting his lover, didn't mind the slight uneasiness and placed his other hand on the man's chest then, rubbing it quickly to create a warm friction on the light clothes Kyuhyun was wearing.

That way the warmth spread further inside his heart, melting the icy barrier of mounting doubts. Kyuhyun was completely wrapped by that strong feeling he had always considered being the true concept of love and respect, and that now, as it was only right in a relationship like theirs, was being ministrated by Ryeowook through those small yet meaningful gestures.

"I was wondering...if, only if, something of that kind should happen, what would you do?" still uncertain, Kyuhyun dared to ask, wanting to clarify his position without disclosing too many dangerous details. Right, he knew what would happen in that case, but he wanted to be sure of Ryeowook's reaction by directly asking him...always faking an hypothetical case.

"Are you asking me, what I'd do if I caught you cheating on me?" Ryeowook repeated, wanting to be sure of understanding correctly, earning a low hum and a nod from Kyuhyun as a reply.

Heavily sighing, he squeezed his eyes shut and violently shook his head, pushing away that awful idea. He really despised the idea of cheating on people per se, perhaps he had to bear multiple betrayals throughout his life, not to mention that it was the reason behind his parents' breakup, but Ryeowook thought that no words were strong enough to justify an horrible fate like that one.

Human beings were born to live in large groups, and weren't that different from any other animals that lived in packs. They needed support from other beings of the same kin and weaved intricated relationships with family, friends, co-workers, whatever...

People usually, willingly or not, poured their whole soul into those kind of human relations, seeking for comfort, help, love, positive feelings that could provide them the best environment and opportunities to live a better life. Often, maybe too often, trust was overrated and exploited in favor of more selfish aims, and this kind of behavior left broken victims to deal with sorting out numerous scars and building protective walls, in order to mistrust everyone and push away further chances of useless pain.

If cheating occured in a love relationship, then, it was even worse, according to the pianist. Because a third undesired person crept between the apparent strong bond of two people, who swore each other eternal protection and support, potentially ruining years of efforts made to know and appreciate each other.

It was simply unconceivable that, after years of struggles like theirs, Ryeowook could be feeling threatened by the remote possibility of Kyuhyun cheating on him. It was impossible! And even though it completely scared him, the petite man unconditionally trusted his lover. He wanted to demonstrate it by explaining that he was totally getting comforted by their bond and thus he could slowly change his convictions on betrayals or similar kind of stuff.

Swallowing those bad thoughts, he bared his thoughts, as he held Kyuhyun's neck in his warm hands, stretching both thumbs upwards to gently rub them along the man's jawline: "You know my opinions, right?" Ryeowook asked, waiting for Kyuhyun to give him any kind of signal in reply.

He received a light nod, feeling his hands moving together with the other man's head, and he resumed "I hate to think that you could prefer someone else over me, over what we went through, what we are building right now. I hate to think that I could lose you to a stranger, and I'd rather die for that..." he briefly stopped, drawing a long deep breath.

Examining Kyuhyun's eyes, he was trying to look for an inner unknown source of strength, which might have helped the both of them: Ryeowook for speaking what were his beliefs, Kyuhyun for understanding and avoiding any more fears. This time the protective task was up to the older one.

"However, if you did ever cheat on me, I'd carefully draw a clear distinction between one night mistake and several continual meetings" Ryeowook slowly shifted in his place and disentangled his legs, this time kneeling in front of Kyuhyun and leaning closer to the other figure.

"I'd hate you to death, if you ever met someone else more than once. Because I'd never understand what went wrong between us, to have you looking for comfort in another person's embrace. I'd blame myself for not giving you what you needed" his face clearely betrayed a deep sadness in that case, his pout creased his mouth and a light frown matched his disquietness, nevertheless he went on: "But, if you were to fall for a mere mistake that lasted one night only, then, I'd try to understand what happened. I'd listen to what you have to say to justify yourself, and no matter how much I'd probably yell at you, hit you, be angry, feel wronged, not talk to you at all, I'd surely forgive you. One night mistake is no big deal, it is no real threat to a lifetime together, Kyu"

Finally he let it out. Ryeowook cleared what trust meant for him, and hoped, with that, to have suceeded in his mission to comfort Kyuhyun from that bad nightmare, which revealed itself for being the fear of loneliness. He surely couldn't have told that Kyuhyun was so scared of being left alone, of dealing with a sudden breakup, perhaps he was literally pouring too much of himself into that relationship, which was just what Ryeowook had always wished for - a genuine love exchange - but that he himself still fully couldn't guarantee. Maybe that was why he had never thought of marriage.

Ryeowook, who had always been the weaker one, when it came to deal with abstract things such as love, friendship, trust, found it funny, really funny, to see how many things had changed since when they got back together.

Trust was the main issue that separated them, when Kyuhyun assumed and convinced himself that Ryeowook had killed his sister. Now, the same hurt, scared yet rigenerated Ryeowook, didn't think it twice, when it came to blindly entrust his heart in Kyuhyun's strong hands, asking for a reliable guidance.

"So...you're telling me that you wouldn't break up with me, instead you'd try to understand my mistake and forgive me?" Kyuhyun uncertainly summed up what Ryeowook had just told him.

This one nodded, half smiling, not entirely pleased at the thought of potentially having Kyuhyun cheat on him: "If you were to ask me this same question a couple of years ago, I'd have told you that I would probably be dealing with bitter grudges and fears, doubts, too many doubts. I'd have surely left you for good. But the thing is that, Kyuhyun, I trust you! I will never let that a single person could split us apart and take advantage of my insecurities to have his or her way with you"

Ryeowook lifted himself just a little bit to spring better in Kyuhyun's arms and let him feel his body closer, sharing his pounding heartbeat against his boyfriend's chest. As he hugged Kyuhyun and his head peeked from above the man's shoulder, his slender fingers ran through Kyuhyun's hair, playing with his locks while he the wavy hair in a reassuring motion.

"We grew up, Kyu. We matured and therefore we must act our age, it's no good if we clinged on past delusions or we can't trust each other. Forgiveness is such a precious token and requires a pretty high amount of love to be granted to whoever is seeking for it. It's been said that people who ask for forgiveness are innerly strong because it's no easy task pushing aside one's stubborness and pride, right?"

Kyuhyun listened to his words, carefully, not wanting to respond to Ryeowook's hug, not yet, and therefore had both his palms glued on the carpet, trying to steady his weight on place, or else he'd have more likely fallen with his back on the floor, due to Ryeowook's light clingy pushes.

He blinked, startled, and swallowed the lump in his throat while Ryeowook's words continued: "But you see, those who actually are granted the gift to forgive others are the real winners, since it's way more difficult getting rid of insecurities, painful wounds, scars and heartbreaks. They are the strongest because they won't crumble down the weight of deception and despair, and will look for a way to live life again at its fullest. I learned that when I first forgave you, two years ago. I was so broken and scarred, but I really wanted you by my side. I really wanted to start our meaningful journey from where it had stopped. So..." he interrupted himself to let his plump lips go lower on Kyuhyun's shoulder just a little bit, a ghost of a loving brushing peck left on the smooth pale skin made Kyuhyun shiver.

"So...yes, I'd forgive you and try to figure out a way to put the pieces of our personal story back together with you, we are stronger than ever, right? I can't leave you. Because I'd never find the strength to break up and start again my research for someone to love anew. I'd never let anyone else than you be my soulmate. You know me and it took you time to learn everything you needed to know about me: my personality, my dreams, my tastes, my ideas, my fears and you love me for who I am. Even though I am perfectly aware that I might not be the best choice you can get out there, you love me no matter what. You don't back off when I'm on the crybaby mode, when I'm too tired after work and I'm such a pain in the that I bet you'd only like to escape as far away from me as you can! You see, I'd never find someone else who can accept me for who I am in very little time"

Ryeowook's monologue went on in between his pecks on Kyuhyun's shoulder, having just pulled his black hoodie a little bit down to expose those inches of skin. Both his lips and his slender fragile fingers around Kyuhyun's neck seemed to burn that skin, its owner thought, because they bore the meaning of Ryeowook's words and left him speechless and defenseless, only able to accept the explanation and be reassured in the meanwhile.

"I'd never find anyone willing to take care of my wounds, rock me to sleep against his chest and wait for me to finally close my eyes at night, making sure that I calm down after dealing with nightmares. No one would love me the way Cho Kyuhyun does, and if I really needed to bear some more pain then, I'd rather let that you hurt me again instead of an unknown stranger, because I know you and I know how to deal with you. But, here I'm only speaking hypothesis. You'd never hurt me again, right, Kyu?"

How was Kyuhyun supposed to find decent words that could express the feelings in his heart then? How could he, when all he could see was Ryeowook finally parting from his embrace and intently looking into his eyes, showing two twinkling gems in his own. His words made perfect sense, but Kyuhyun couldn't deny that he had never stored any hope to be listening to such a radical change of mind occurring from Ryeowook's side.

First of all, before that day he had never had to worry about the possibility of hurting Ryeowook again with his stupid, reckless actions. Then because he was practically already convinced that, since Ryeowook was that hurt and unsure, his boyfriend would have reacted very bad in front of a possible cheat. Lovers, one night stands and hidden relationships didn't exist in the mental vocabulary of the pianist, and it was certainly good that way.

He didn't expect that long explanation on how important reciprocated trust was, or how much strength was implied to forgive. Ryeowook used not to forgive at all, up to a couple of years before. If he faced any wrong, he just broke his ties with whomever inflicted him much pain and tried to forget everything occurred, by avoiding the fact per se or any related memories. This time, instead, Ryeowook revealed himself to be just that legit understanding and Kyuhyun swore he had never witnessed any major change occurring in his lover's mind, throughout the passing days of their relationship. How was possible to explain that, then?

The little angel in his mind spoke then, his eyes thouroughly scanning the pianist's. His conscience made him understand that the scared, hurt little child concealed in Ryeowook, was finally growing up, leaving behind every whim, every concern, but focused himself on what was love for him. Yes, Kyuhyun, deceived and delusional, was seriously beginning to consider that Ryeowook was just too frightened by the possibility of being betrayed once again, to avoid giving his consent to their marriage. However, what was clear then, was that Ryeowook was ready, more than ready actually, he just was dealing with the aftermath of taking responsabilities for their lives and all the occured changes. It took a great amount of courage to begin a new stage of life, how could he not understand it earlier?

It was stupid of him to doubt Ryeowook's intents that much, or maybe his desire of marrying such a person was only his latest and greatest whim, for reacting that way. It probably was, if all it could do was pushing him into a sea of alcohol to drown his own insecurities, which didn't work.

Or well, it partially worked, because perhaps without spending his night at the hotel, he would have never been that frightened and confused, thus he'd have never pushed himself to ask those questions to Ryeowook, resulting in finally comprehending what was missing in the whole puzzle of his life.

And then, Kyuhyun found his renewed confidence, just by looking at how Ryeowook's eyes twinkled before him. He couldn't risk to lose such a precious person, no matter what...

After all he had no true intention of voluntarily hurting Ryeowook. How could he? How could he think of inflicting both himself and his lover such a harsh punishment after everything the went through together?

"You'd forgive me..." Kyuhyun exhaled again, this time not a question, but a relieved statement, shown in one quivering half smile.

"Bear in mind that I'd be angry at you for a while, and we'd probably quit having for a couple of weeks..." Ryeowook rolled his eyes, thinking the better of it and corrected himself "...actually, maybe a whole month, or even something more, but..." Kyuhyun's smile was quickly erased when Ryeowook had found his way to his boyfriend's lips, pressing them softly again, before moving slowly and encouraging the other man to follow his moves. The younger man, first taken aback, responded well soon after. The light pressure on Ryeowook's hips was getting steadier and stronger, pulling him closer to his body as he wanted to feel more of that man's warmth.

That was everything he wanted right then.

Kyuhyun blinked quickly, before closing his eyes and enjoying the caring displays of affection he was receiving. Ryeowook's plump lips had a soothing effect against Kyuhyun's paler ones, as each tilt of his head, each move on that flesh, each pressure meant a new, powerful spring deeper into their mutual love.

Ryeowook parted once, still grabbing Kyuhyun's neck to get a firm hold while he was being pulled unbalancing in the other man's arms, and pouted in his cute trademark way, scanning thoroughly Kyuhyun's eyes, sharing his contagious twinkle. He nodded and stayed long in that position, wanting to imprint in Kyuhyun that only certainty he was able to give him: their undying love.

The petite man then smiled wider, tired of that unwanted, sad tension between them, and quickly nuzzled under Kyuhyun's crook of the neck, leaving his lips' traces. His contagious giggles helped Kyuhyun relax, his hands roaming on the silky dark brown hair than had found shelter under his jaw, those soft straight locks several times, before the young man could actually let himself go to a light chuckle: "I really don't deserve you, Ryeo..."

That was said to express the last drop of his unsure feelings and finally free himself of the oppressing heavy weight that temporary occupied his heart, but Ryeowook childishly giggled even louder, as he clinged onto Kyuhyun and nodded to confirm the statement: "I know, I'm too precious!" and with that he definitely lost his balance and knocked Kyuhyun, whose back laid flat on the carpeted floor.

"Hey!" he winced once, shocked for both the fall and Ryeowook's jokingly words. His mouth twitched in a grimace and he blushed hard, not daring to leave his wound arms from around Ryeowook's waist. Soon after, though, the older one parted just a little bit to lift his head and check Kyuhyun's expression: his flushed cheeks spread an unusual warmth all over his face, and even reached the point of his ears, partially covered - just like his eyes - by those rebel fringe and locks that looked even messier after the fall.

Ryeowook lifted one arm from around the man's neck and, stretching a hand, hovered on Kyuhyun's features, not caring about the frown of this one's furrowed brows while trying to follow the moves of the pianist's hand. Those thin and graceful fingers reached Kyuhyun's fringe and grazed the skin of his forehead hidden beneath the mass of soft hair, clearing the man's sight and fixing the longest locks back at their place.

While he was focusedly working, Ryeowook couldn't help but share his full smile with the other man, glancing from time to time at those big round eyes that were his personal well of comfort, where he often lost himself but felt as if exploring the safest place on Earth, a place he knew how to tour without any help.

Kyuhyun caught a glimpse of Ryeowook's sweetness while exchanging the same look, and automatically lifted his own hand to block his boyfriend's wrist, the grip being firm but gentle, while his head leaned forwards aiming at the lips Ryeowook had just parted in awe, one breath apart.

Catching the two plump lines with his own and pressing with even more respect than usual, not wanting to entirely spoil the masterpiece he was granted to have as his lover, Kyuhyun unconsciouly let go of Ryeowook's arm, which was rested somewhere on his right shoulder, and his now free hand could cup and feel the radiating warmth that burned the other's cheek blushing in red.

"Kyu..." Ryeowook whispered softly right against Kyuhyun's lips, his half-closed eyes never leaving the man's. Their questions were answered as soon as those bodies responded one with the other's touch. Kyuhyun's was only a dream, and it was to be left like that. They were both speaking about far away chances with a low rate of realization, they knew, it was something that couldn't even bother the two of them, not even if the truth was to be shoved right in to their faces with unknown brutality, one that sometimes broke hearts but served as an important life lesson.

Lying was the only way. Lying was compulsory and felt incredibly right at that moment. Kyuhyun was sure of doing the right thing, for them both, and he needed to show, more to himself than to Ryeowook, that he could go on while focusing on his feelings and emotions only.

Sitting on the floor, he pushed Ryeowook up, helping him by holding his hands, and, after securing those thin arms around his own neck, Kyuhyun pushed himself up, scooping the petite man in one hug as he carried that feather weight upstairs and reached their bedroom.

"I love you" was Kyuhyun's whisper, as he rested Ryeowook to lay with his back on the crumpled bed and, kneeling right between his legs, bent to place one finger on the other man's lips, shushing him and trying to get him feel more relaxed as well and less puzzled by what was happening.

Ryeowook clearly remembered of sitting in the living room and enjoy his late lunch just a little while before, how was it that Kyuhyun was now slowly ing his cardigan...

I love you

His strong warm hands were tickling his belly, while he reached for the hem of the pianist's long sleeved t-shirt, pulling it up concurrently to the light grazing touch of those soft palms on his hips...

I love you

...which were moving upwards, following every curve, feeling the man's ribs at the sides, before his thumbs could reach both his uncovered s and brush his digits on the rigid flesh...

I love you

Ryeowook couldn't move, not because he wasn't allowed to or forced, or bond. Kyuhyun's gentleness was honestly surprising and struck him at the core, so he reacted with staying perfectly still and bearing with those soft caresses on his shivering skin, already warming the back of his throat to vibrate with small - and later louder - moans.

I love you

Those whispers...those sensual blows of warm breath filled of overflowing love.

It didn't help that, the younger man was telling him those three words at each touch. There was nothing he liked more than hearing Kyuhyun showering him with words of affection, or petnames, or cute jokes, caring reminders, but it was so rare, that when it actually happened to hear him say as much, Ryeowook couldn't help but let himself feeling concerned and thinking that his boyfriend was seriously too preoccupied with other worries and thoughts.

Kyuhyun wasn't one to easily vent his frustrations. He was discreet, actually more discreet and quieter than Ryeowook was, and didn't like to make the first step in order to share his worries, it didn't matter that Ryeowook was always by his side, available to hear him out and help him. It wasn't because he didn't trust Ryeowook enough, it was just a matter of nature. His nature was keeping silent and finding solutions to his problems on his own. That was why, whenever Kyuhyun sought for cuddles first, there was something wrong within his mind, something that kept him too busy.

It also increased his level of romance nevertheless, since he treated his boyfriend with much more gentleness than usual, but the more he thought about it, the more Ryeowook spaced out and didn't pay attention at all when his belt was being unbuckled. He woke up from his thoughts just when he felt the thick fabric of his blue jeans slide against his legs, completely uncovering them.

He couldn't avert his eyes from the young man, that was now proceeding at moving his hands on the pianist's lower half, without ever lifting his touch from that body, as his thin long fingers grazed each inch of skin and reached his underwear, pulling it off with one delicate move.

Another shiver rolled on his spine and Ryeowook winced for being totally exposed to Kyuhyun's desires.

He winced once again, shutting eyes, when Kyuhyun's hands resumed the exploration of the other body, slipping carefully on both his spread open thighs, marking the soft inner side flesh in more , as the man's legs were pulled closer to the kneeling body.

I love you

Kyuhyun lifted himself to kiss Ryeowook's forehead in a long peck, which totally surprised Ryeowook and made him squeeze his eyes shut, his hands quickly moved to reach for the younger man's arms to grab as a support. The man's lips travelled on both his closed eyes, on the point of his nose, again on the combining shape of the other's lips, along his sharp jawline and high cheekbones. They moved, leaving a trail of warm breath on his neck, on the exposed collarbone, down in the middle of his chest, tracing the light lines of his abdomen, until he could finally focus between his legs, supporting them closer to his bent figure, spreading those soft thighs a little bit more, before he could kiss his lover's manhood.

Then, Ryeowook, who was trying hard to focus himself on Kyuhyun, lost it all.

He was thinking that whatever was happening right there and then was because Kyuhyun had just relieved himself of a great amount of pain, who knew for how long concealed in his heart. Although Kyuhyun was the manlier one, the one who always double-checked situations, calculated chances and never failed at organizing successful plans, this time had fallen hard under the effect of one dream, a product of his sleeping mind moreover, something that didn't exist but contributed to unbalance his state and confidence, baring his whole self in front of the possibility of losing Ryeowook, of losing happiness.

Though the engulfing sensation he felt, for having Kyuhyun once again showing his true dominant perspective of protection through those ministrations, was good and fulfilling, Ryeowook couldn't help but struggle at the usual unsettling feeling that moved and crept inside his body, that flur of butterflies forever stuck in his belly, and he abandoned himself at his first accomplice moans.

His hands gripped Kyuhyun's hair firmly, but never hurting, while his back arched following the trail of mounting pleasure wrapping his whole body, one groan filled the room, before his voice turned weak, replaced by continuous, regular little whines and pants that set the rhythm of what was to be unfolded next.

Kyuhyun lifted himself and promptly caught the shivering body of his lover in his two arms, before he could fall back on the mattress. He scooped Ryeowook closer to his body, while this one, still under the effect of that unbalancing pleasure, crawled his legs up to support himself and, in the meanwhile, pressed his head harder on the soft mattress, trying to catch whatever strong emotions he had missed by little.

"Kyu..." he breathed, not without much difficulty, as he tried to lift his eyelids and peek at the loving smile Kyuhyun was showing him, just a couple of inches apart from his face. Ryeowook's trembling hands cupped Kyuhyun's cheeks and he showed one faint smile, before kissing him again, this time breathlessly, senselessly.

And Kyuhyun responded.

Right, from that night onwards, Kyuhyun had to demonstrate that he could live perfectly fine while keeping that little secret from his boyfriend. From that night on, his only task was to show his growing, wilder love to his soulmate and totally devote himself to his lover. There was no better and easier demonstration than surrounding himself with his only reason to live, nothing more...and his plea was heard.

I love you, Kyuhyun...

A/N: okay, here I am. I told you that I had the following chapter ready, and I promised you to publish either today or tomorrow. Well, it happens that I'm kind and really want to share with you this chapter, therefore: here you are! kkk

The question I left on the previous chapter was related to Ryeowook's reaction at the possibility of having Kyuhyun cheat on him.

Well, even though we know that he's insecure, scared and broken, that his parents broke up and left him following his father's cheat, this time we have a surprisingly understanding and forgiving Ryeowook! You didn't expect it, did you? XD

Because you all told me that Ryeowook would have thrown a fit and argued with Kyuhyun, before finally breaking up. Nope, that's not the case. Parts are slowly reversing. Strong Kyuhyun is taking on all Ryeowook's insecurities and the other way round. But we understood it ever since Ryeowook pushed Kyuhyun into considering going back to Korea and meet his parents again (you understood it right there, didn't you?).

In fact, Kyuhyun is terrified to tell Ryeowook what happened and why he feels that strangely down and emotional. He even lies and says it's a dream that made him that way, but through the expedient of the dream, he asks Ryeowook his views and gets his reply.

We understand that Ryeowook is growing up and he's ready to give his whole self into this relationship, which was always one of Kyuhyun's misunderstanding right after the failed marriage proposal. Do you remember? He even reached a point where he thought of being the only one moving the threads of their couple! Anyway, the chapter finishes with a sweet love scene! (which, nope, I won't further describe, otherwise I'd delay what's coming next >>) This serves both of them understanding once again why they love each other so much, plus Kyuhyun needs it to get his confidence back: he's convinced of having spent the night with Jiwon, and he doesn't feel worth of Ryeowook's affection, he doesn't even want to touch him to wake him up in the car! lol However he's fully convinced that he needs to fight to keep Ryeowook by his side, which means he has to lie for a greater aim, unfortunately.

It seems that everything's settled, but that won't be the case. Other people are ready to harm our favorite couple, to threaten our boys and challenge their love. Stay tuned, because we will have pretty important turnovers right from the next chapter (which, unfortunately is just drafted and needs a longer time of review, therefore bear with the wait and stay tuned!). Leave me your comments, don't forget! xxx

I might have the habit of reading comments before start reading a story and well this time I was dubious about Kyuhyun's love and devotion towards Ryeowook, but after completing this fic, I don't think that Kyuhyun is in any way undeserving of Ryeowook. I admit that in the prequel, despite his grief, Kyuhyun was a big jerk, but here, it's not his fault for things turning out the way they did. It was not his fault for Ryeowook to get and shot. Life is not easy and so is love, it's not entirely bed of roses but full of stones and bricks being thrown at your way, and only a strong love would survive the test of time, and theirs certainly did. I certainly felt Kyuhyun's love for Ryeowook, they deserve no one else but each other. I'm loving the spin off also. I'll wait for the update of your ongoing fics. Much regards.

Chapter 25: Re-read this story.. I am sorry but I did not vote for Kyu ending up with Wookie on this.. He doesn't deserve Wook, I hate him on this fic and probably would be happy if Wook died.. How can he be so stupid?! Why did he had to go to Jiwon when Wook needs him the most.. I agree with Yeye, he's not needed at the hospital.. GRRRRRR.. Or better yet, Wook could've have ended with Zhou Mi.. It would've been ZhouWook..

Chapter 25: this is the one Kyuwook story that I never happy Kyuwook together....kyuhyun totally do not deserve Ryeowook and some more be the parents of jiwons daughter...,though I can understand your plot of Ryeowook being shot but why the part (still cannot accept) and kyuhyun was always the source of all pain and in this story he is the taker and Ryeowook always he giver.....of course we would like and believe that Ryeowook is always an angel but I would rather your story end with angst which goes back to your tagging of this story! Should let kyuhyun stuck with jiwon and the daughter and Ryeowook pays his debt to ahra who died for him 12 years ago!!!

Chapter 25: Kyuhyun is so lucky because he got to have an angel who is Ryeowook by his side. Honestly I always blamed Kyuhyun and thought of him as the source of all of Ryeowook's miseries and I believed that their love just keeps on bringing more pain in Wook's life. Seeing how Ryeowook suffered over and over because of events Kyuhyun mostly involved in made me sad. There was times that I was like 'No, Not again, He had enough' but that displeasure I felt because of all those misfortunes happening to Wook didn't made me stop reading this story, Because I believed that it ought to come to an end finally and it's unfair for him going through all of this and he deserves happiness. I was so eager to know how much more he should pay to get that relief and happiness I believed he deserves and how that happiness is going to come to him. Now I know it and I feel really settled.
Actually your note at the end of the previous and this very last chapter helped me understand things better. It made the things happened throughout this story way more meaningful. I blame Kyu less than before after reading it. But still he's to be blamed for some things. I can't be as forgiving as Ryeowook ^^
Ryeowook's understanding and his wonderful kindness at the end really impressed me. He loves Kyuhyun so freaking much just as Kyu does and he's his happiness but after all the sufferings he got a bonus happiness that is Jiyoon. Ah it's satisfying to see it ends this way. I'm so relieved and happy for them ^_^

Thank you so much for this great fic. It's one of most beautiful fics I've ever read. I'm sorry I couldn't comment that much, I really tried to do but...ugh I hope you forgive me for this, I'm going to compensate and write more comments on your other fics.

Your writing style is beautiful just as your stories. Please keep it up. I definitely won't miss any of your works. Good luck with your next and other fics :)

Chapter 25: Ho my.

Ho to say this ? Your whole story was really great to read . I've been following the other too, when Ryeowook was out of Kyuhyun 's life . I like how the characters evolve trough the story .
Ryeowook is such a kind hearted person for all what he have done .
I'm sad about the fact that Jiwon died because of her daughter .But I'm also happy that Kyuwook will have a child for them .
I'm glad that Kyuhyun stayed with Ryeowook instead of her when he was dying. I hope he is aware how lucky he is to have Ryeowook.
Good Job ! !
Ps ;: I loved the way you write when Ryeowook has been shot !
