At class...

“Alright, today’s lesson is finish. Remember to practice the song that you had chosen from the list and I will judge the way you play it next week.”

 The whole class start to pack their books and papers in their bag except Minyoung.

“Minyoung, don’t you want to go home?” one of Minyoung’s classmate ask her as soon she saw Minyoung doesn’t pack her thing yet.

“No. Not yet. I think I want to stay here for a while to practice. You want to go home now, Hyojung?”

“No. I will go date with my boyfriend after this.” Hyojung’s face blush a little bit.

“Hyojung-ah. Your face is become red now.” Minyoung let out a laugh at Hyojung and point at her face.

Hyojung is Minyoung’s cousin who lives below floor from Minyoung’s house. They both had been together since young as their mothers are sisters. However, because Hyojung’s mother has to leave to search a job after her father’s death, they had to be separated. But fate has helped them to meet again after 10 years when they found out that they live at the same building. Minyoung who also experienced of losing her father 5 years ago because of car accident understand of Hyojung’s life more than anyone. They understand each other, share the bittersweet life together and they also share the same passionate; music.

“Stop teasing me. It doesn’t like you don’t date with anyone. You also have Taekwoon oppa with you.”

“I’m sorry. It’s just you look much more cheerful and became a little bit busy since you know that Ravi guy. If I not mistake his name is Kim Wonshik, right?”

“Yes. That’s his name. That because he also likes music, just like me. And you should listen to his songs that he composed. Wow… I dare to say that he was born with talent.” Hyojung’s eyes become sparkles when mentioning it.

“Wow, you are seriously in love now.” Minyoung giggle a bit seeing Hyojung’s face.

"Does it shows a lot?" Hyojung touch her face, completely embarass right now.

Minyoung couldn't help but feeling amusing by her cousin. But, she also not different than her.

She knows how it feels when the person fall in love. She suddenly remembers the moment when the first time she met Taekwoon.

A year ago…

Minyoung running quickly to the bus stop hoping that the bus in front of her doesn’t move for a while. But she’s was too late. The bus has already makes a move and leaves her.

“No!! Stop!! Wait!!!”Minyoung scream at the bus but it was no use. The bus has already far from her and it’s already getting fast for her to catch it. Minyoung has to stop and tries to catch her breath.

“Oh no. Am I have to wait for another one?” Minyoung starting to feel anxious. It is already 8 o’clock and it is night time. She look at the bus schedule and much to her surprise, she had to wait about 45 minutes for the next bus.

“Oh God!! I have to wait that long?! Are you kidding me?!”Minyoung start to feel frustrated. She’s alone and all she has to do is stay there and wait for another bus to pick her up.

After 30 minutes, a young man walks to the bus stop and sit at bench next to Minyoung. Minyoung take a look at the man at her side. The man is quite tall and wearing sports shirt and tracksuit. His shoulders are quite broad plus with his long legs. His face doesn’t show any emotion. He just sits there with his hands in his pocket with his bag clutch on his shoulder. He is like the model that came out from sport magazine. Minyoung stare at the man for so long and admire every inch of him. ‘He is quite handsome.’ Minyoung stare at him and didn't realise that her heart beating fast that time. 

Suddenly, the bus appears in front of her and the engine’s sound wake her from her daydream. She quickly went inside the bus and went to the empty sit from right line. The man also went inside the bus and sit at left line, with his side facing Minyoung. Minyoung look at the man again. His hand reach his phone and he put the earphone in his ear and stare at his phone for a while before he put it back in his pocket. His mouth moves a bit, like he is singing the song that he played just now. Minyoung couldn’t help but admit that the man at her side is really good looking and she couldn’t take her eyes of him.

Then, the bus reaches at the destination and stop. Minyoung went out and walk away to reach her house. But, the man is also gone out, walking at the same road as Minyoung. ‘Why he also get off at here? Is he noticed that I look at him the whole time in the bus? Is he following me?’ Minyoung start to feel unease and she start to walk fast to avoid him.

“Wait, miss!”

Minyoung stop her track. ‘Did he just call me?’ Minyoung turn her back and reply him, “Yes?”

“You left your ID student here.”

Minyoung look at his hand. Her ID student! ‘My, I’m such a clumsy person.’ She walk too fast and didn’t realised her ID was accidently drop from her jacket. She walks closer to him and takes the ID from him.

“Thanks.”

“You are the student from XXXXXX University?”

“Yes.”

“Same as me.”

She is surprised when she hears it. ‘Same?’ “You are also study at XXXXXX University?”

“Yes.”

“What year?”

“Now it’s my 4^th year.”

“I’m the first year student. That means you are my sunbae.”

Minyoung couldn’t believe it. The man in front of her is her college senior! She must be dream!

“Why are you following me just now?”

The man’s face changes after Minyoung ask him.

“No, I’m not. This is the way to my house indeed.”

Minyoung start to feel embarrassed for her naivety. ‘Gosh, what’s wrong with me?! Asking that kind of question to the stranger!’

“I’m sorry. It’s just…umm…it is night time now…and…” Minyoung doesn’t know how to speak. She is really embarrassing now. The man looks at her weirdly but soon understand what she meant.

“It is night time and you feel insecure when I was walking at your back? Is that what you trying to say?”

Minyoung shock from his answer. ‘Well, he’s right.’ “Yeah… something like that.”

“Well, how about this? I walk in front of you and you follow at my back. Does it make you feel safe?”

She was hesitated at first but for the second thought it is a good idea. “Well, okay.”

Minyoung listen to him and follow his back as they walk. Minyoung look at his back and notice that his back is so broad and lean. His figure looks athletic. Judging from his clothing, he must be an athlete.

They walk about few minutes and suddenly the man stop his track. 

“Well, I have to go at this way now. My home was there.”

Minyoung look at the way that man just show her.

“Are you alright to walk home by yourself? I can accompany you if you want to.”

She is speechless. She never thought the man in front of him is worrying her eventhough they just briefly met. “It’s okay. I’ll be fine. Beside, you also need rest. You already have done enough. Kamsahabnida.” Minyoung bow to him as she aware that the man in front of her is her college senior.

The man look at her for a second before speak, “Well, then. Be careful.”

The man continues his walk and turns right. For a moment, Minyoung call him.

“Wait! Can I know your name?”

The man stops his track and look at Minyoung. “My name is Taekwoon. Jung Taekwoon.”

The present…

“Minyoung-ah. Minyoung-ah.”

Minyoung wake up from her dream and look at Hyojung.

“What have you been thinking? I call you several times but you didn’t listen. Are you alright?”

“No. It just…I was remembering something.”

“Well, I have to go now. Bye!”

“Bye! Tell Ravi oppa that I say hello to him!”

“You’ve got it!”

Hyojung leaves the class and only Minyoung left on her seat. Suddenly, her phone is vibrating. She takes it and read the message.

From: Taekwoon

Minyoung-ah, are you free now? I want to take you somewhere after your class.

Minyoung smile when she sees the message. Then, she replies it.

From: Minyoung

I am now. Where we will go?

 A few minutes, her phone vibrates again.

From: Taekwoon

To the place that I want to take you along. I’ll be coming in a few minutes.

After read the message, Minyoung grab her bag and put her things in it and quickly out from the class. Forget about practice right now. Practice can be done anytime but spend time with Taekwoon only come few times.
