Summer class was known as the lamest and boring session in Wu’s High School. Students and teachers should spent their summer holiday by staying in class, studying.

Ugh!

Fortunately, for Kris and Luhan, this summer class is the best summer class they ever had.

This semester, there are 10 students who needed to fix their result in literature class. Those students should attend the summer class. What a pity!

As usual, Luhan came into the class, greeting his students kindly.

“Good morning cla-“

“Good morning Lu honeeeeeyyyy…” Luhan was frozen when he heard that voice. All the students were also frozen and directly looked at the voice owner. Luhan also directly looked at that person

KRIS!!

Luhan almost forgot that he let Kris to join the class even Kris was already passed the class. Luhan looked at Kris, glaring. But Kris just smirked at him while sitting leisurely in the back seat. Well, at least Kris sat in the behind, he wouldn’t do anything stupid beside this silly greetings. Luhan walked ignoring Kris.

“well.. uhm.. well, welcome to literature class, please be serious and focus in this class, if you want to graduate next month, understand?”

“yes, sir!” the students answered in unison

“before we start, I’m going to check the attendant list first. James.. Eric.. Hongki.. “ Luhan started to call every students until he finished.

“okay let’s sta-“

“Professor, you didn’t call me?” Kris cut him.

Of course Luhan didn’t call him. Kris’ name wasn’t in the list since he already passed the class, his name wouldn’t include by the admin into the summer class.

“well..uhm.. Kris?” Luhan called his name

“Always in your heart, Lu” Kris winked. Luhan widened his eyes. He’s so dead!

“well..uhmm.. okay.. let’s start..” Luhan cleared his throat.

“for this class, we’re going to discuss Charles Dickens’s books”

“nooo…” the students groaned

“silence please…” Luhan tried to calm his students

“I know you had a hard time with Hard Times… so, we’ll discuss another book of him..” the students sighed in relief

”we are going to discuss Charles Dickens’s Mystery of Edwin Drood” Luhan said as he showed the novel to the class.

“Mystery of Edwin Drood is one of the genius masterpieces of Dickens. Why? Because some said it is an unfinished novel from Dickens but it is still interesting and amazing to read.”

“just like you… always amazing…” Kris suddenly said. Oh how Luhan wanted to close Kris’ mouth with super glue

“well.. uhm.. o-okay.. let’s..uhm continue.. as I said before, the novel partly was never completed. Only six of twelve planned numbers completed. Anyone know why?”

“because his laptop is broke down..” the class laughed together. Luhan chuckled.

“nice try, Hongki.. unfortunately laptop hadn’t invented in that year… anyone else?” other students shook his head. Then Kris raised his hand

No Kris.. don’t..

“yes.. Kris? Do you know why?”

“because it doesn’t have you..” Luhan raised his eyebrow

“pardon?”

“yeah.. it doesn’t have you, like me.. since I have you, my life is complete..” Kris smiled widely. While some student chuckled

“silence please…” Luhan tried to calm the students as he glared at Kris.

“well.. okay… let me tell you… well..During the months he was writing it, Dickens broke a longstanding rule about not doing a reading tour while also working on a book. Already in poor health, and taking laudanum both to help him sleep and for pain in his legs, he exhausted himself and died of a in June 1870, worn out at the age of 58. some people beileve the 'mystery' in the title isn't only represent the genre of the novel but also represent this incomplete part."

 "Sir, there is word 'mystery' in the title.. Does it mean this novel has horror tone?" One student asked 

"No.. Not really.. Well this novel focus on the missing of the main character, Edwin Drood. Drood was missing after he broke off his engagement.. Nobody knows where Edwin Drood, whether he was murdered, kidnapped or just runaway.. That's the mystery started.." Luhan suddenly chuckled 

"Is there anything funny in this novel sir?" 

"Instead of funny, I found something romantic in this novel.. Well not all the mystery full of darkness you know... Somehow it needs some refreshment in the middle of solving the puzzle..I found some romantic quotes in this novel... " Kris suddenly raised his hand. Hesitantly Luhan responded him. 

"Yes, Kris?" 

"Which one is your favorite quote?" Luhan smiled knowing that finally Kris being serious

"Well.. There is one quote I love soooo much.." Luhan cleared his throat

"I love you, love you, love you! If you were to cast me off now - but you will not - you would never be rid of me. No one should come between us. I would pursue you to the death." 

"So that's what I have to say to make you accept my proposal?" Kris winked 

The best summer class ever!

Luhan closed the door before Kris walked out the class

"What. Are. You. Doing?!" Luhan gritted his teeth

"What?" Kris asked innocently 

"You promised you won't disturb the class but look what you just did?!!" Luhan pouted 

"What's wrong with that? I just show my love to my lovely one. Beside I don't see anyone disturbed by that" Kris smirked 

"Aiisshhh this kid!!" Luhan hissed 

"Tomorow you are not allowed to attend this class!" Luhan warned. Kris grinned and slowly approached Luhan while hugged his waist gently

"Are you sure?" Kris said with his husky voice. Luhan swore he melted hearing that but he kept stoic face

"Yes ." Kris kissed Luhan's lips

"Sure?" Kris asked again

"Sure" Luhan kept his statement but Kris kissed him again bit longer now

"Really?" 

"R-really" Luhan stuttered and Kris knew he won. He kissed Luhan again now until h as breathless. Luhan gave up as he encircled his hand around Kris. 

"Can I come tomorrow , professor?" Luhan who was still breathless, looked at Kris with wide smile

"Just don't show your love too much!" Kris laughed before he kissed Luhan again

"I love you.. I would pursue you to the death.. " Luhan gasped 

"That's my favorite quote.. "

"How many times I have to say that to make you stay with me?" Kris asked 

"Every night before I sleep, you should say that to me.." Luhan smirked 

"Deal!!" Both of them laughed 

"I love you Lu.." Kris added 

"I love you too Kris.." Luhan said as he kissed Kris

"Best summer class eveeeeeerrrrr~" Kris sang
