Luhan ran. Luhan just ran to every corner of the school to find Kris. He checked every classrooms, hall, and toilets just to find emptiness. he couldn’t find Kris anywhere.  

 

“no.. Kris.. don’t .. go..” he screamed inside his head while he was running

 

Luhan felt he already checked all school’s parts but still he couldn’t find Kris. Luhan started to cry.

 

“no.. “

 

Backyard..

 

 God, how stupid he was when he was in panic state. the place he and Kris always visited just getting forgotten by him. Luhan ran right away to the backyard.

 

“Kris!!” Luhan shouted right as he arrived at the backyard. unfortunately the person he called wasn’t there.

 

he walked further into the backyard but stopped when his foot tripped over something. Luhan gasped when he looked at the thing. it was the dragon plushie that Luhan gave to Kris. Luhan took the plushie with his trembling hand. he saw a note was attached in one of the dragon’s wings.

 

Luhan picked the note slowly and opened it. he read the words which was written on it

 

THANK YOU

 

Luhan’s knees gave up once again and he cried harder while hugged the plushie tightly.

 

“No… no.. Kris… Kris.. No..” Luhan cried harder, hoping his cried was heard by Kris and Kris would come  and calm him like usual. but it wouldn’t happen anymore

 

Luhan felt a pair of arms brought him into hug, trying to calm him down. he tried to calm even he knew it wasn’t the person he wished

 

“i made a mistake Doojoon.. “ Luhan said between his sobbed as he clutched into Doojoon

 

“then fix it... “ Doojoon said as caressed Luhan’s back

 

“i… i can’t…”

 

“as you can’t answer Kris’ love?” Luhan looked up at Doojoon

 

“so is that true? that you are afraid of Kris?” Doojoon added

 

“i.. i..” Luhan paused

 

“listen to your heart, Lu… are you afraid of him?”

 

“i…i’m not… i’m afraid of myself, Doojoon.. i’m.. i’m afraid i’ll get hurt… i’m afraid Kris will get hurt…”

 

“Lu.. it is called fall in love… as long as i know if we fall, we hurt.. but at least we’ll learn from that so we won’t fall and hurt again..”

 

“do you love him, Lu?” Doojoon looked at Luhan who thought hard about the question

 

“i tell you once again, listen to your heart...” Doojoon added

 

“i…i don’t know, Doojoon..” Luhan covered his face with his hands, hiding his tears

 

“i.. i don’t whether what i feel for Kris is love..i…i never know  what love is before..” Doojoon pulled Luhan’s hand

 

“how do you can feel love if you said you’re afraid to fall?” Doojoon asked

 

“now.. looked at me.. and tell me what comes into your mind when i say word ‘Kris’?” Luhan focused on Doojoon

 

“are you happy when you stay with him?” Luhan nodded

 

“are you sad when you don’t meet him?” Luhan nodded

 

“are you jealous when you saw him with someone else?” Luhan nodded

 

“so, what do you feel about Kris now?”

 

“i feel…” Luhan paused he looked at Doojoon who waited his answer patiently

 

“i feel.. love… i … love him.. i love him.. i love Kris, Doojoon!!” Luhan said to Doojoon who nodded

 

“so , tell him then..”

 

“i can’t..” Luhan looked down and started to cry again

 

“why?”

 

“i’ve made him mad.. i’ve made him angry.. he won’t forgive me..” Luhan cried

 

“Lu.. love is always forgive no matter how wrong we are… beside if Kris is your true love, he will always forgive you.. if he won’t, then he isn’t your true love.. but don’t be sad about that.. at least you will already know.. and as i told you, you can learn from this so you won’t do the same mistake in the future…”

 

“still.. i can’t..” Luhan cried again

 

“why?

 

“you said he left… i already checked all part of the school and i can’t find him..”

 

“i saw Mr. Wu’s car was still outside..” Luhan looked up at Doojoon

 

“maybe you can ask him where his precious son is right now..” Doojoon smiled

 

“thank you so much Doojoon.. thank you so much…” Luhan hugged Doojoon

 

“i know.. run for your love, Lu!”

Luhan ran away to the principal’s room. He even didn’t knock the door and just opened the door widely. He saw Mr. Wu Jiang startled behind his desk

 

“Mr. Wu, i’m so sorry but could you tell me where Kris is now?” Luhan asked in one breath

 

“don’t you think it’s rude talking while standing at the door like that?” Mr. Wu answered calmly

 

“i’m sorry sir..” Luhan looked down

 

“come in and take a seat, Mr. Lu” Mr. Wu said as he pointed the empty chair in front of his desk

 

“so, can you repeat your questions?” he asked Luhan as Luhan already sat calmly

 

“i’m sorry sir for being rude but i .. “ Luhan paused to take a breath

 

“i need to meet Kris now..” he continued

 

“why?” Mr. Wu

 

“because i’ve made mistake and i have to fix it..” he said as he looked down, hiding his teary eyes

 

“Luhan..” Mr. Wu called him, making Luhan looked up

 

“Kris is a bad boy. no one can change that. it is already in my family’s blood. all boys in my family are bad boys” Mr. Wu chuckled

 

“but, if it comes about you… when he mention your name.. when he talk about you, Kris changes..” Luhan looked at Mr. Wu with his teary eyes

 

“Kris never been like this before.. no matter how many girls and boys approach him.. only with you, he is willing to change himself, even it is hard for him” Luhan started to cry

 

“use my car.. my driver is still waiting outside.. Kris is going to the airport and catch his flight to USA in 6 p.m.” Luhan directly looked at his watch

“go Luhan… before it’s too late…” Mr. Wu said before Luhan ran leaving his office

“sir, could you please drive faster… it is only 15 minutes left…” Luhan requested the driver politely

 

“we’re almost there, young master..”

 

five minutes after the driver said that, Luhan could see the big gate of Wu’s mansion. he saw a yellow taxi stopped in front of the gate. he then saw Kris walked outside the gate and put his luggage into the baggage. he sighed with sad face before got into the taxi

 

“it’s him…he’s leaving… stop.. stop here…” Luhan exclaimed made the driver stopped before they arrived at the mansion. Luhan jumped off the car, he started to shout when he saw the taxi moved

 

“stop!! taxi!! stop!! kris!!” he shouted as he started to run

 

“stoooppp!!! Kriiiss!!! stoooopp!!! Kriiiss!!!” Luhan kept shouting as he kept running after the taxi

 

“stoooopp!! Kriiiiiis!!!”

Kris sighed. he checked out his phone. he watched the wallpaper of his phone, a photo of  Luhan smiled with his deer plushie.

 

Luhan…

 

“sir… there is someone who’s running behind us…” the taxi driver said, making Kris looked up at the driver

 

“what?”

 

“someone is running behind us..”Kris turned around to see behind the taxi. he widened his eyes when he saw the running person

 

“Luhan?!!” he saw Luhan was running and shouting something he couldn’t hear well

 

“ stop the taxi!!” Kris asked the driver.

 

he then got off the taxi. he looked at Luhan who now was crouching down. Luhan tried to catch his breath while sobbing

 

“Luhan!!” Kris shouted and made the said person looked up at him

 

“Kris… Kris… Kris!!” Luhan screamed back as he ran to Kris and jumped onto him until both of them fell onto the hard asphalt

 

“oww.. L-Lu…”

 

“Kris… don’t go… i love you… don’t go…” Luhan said against Kris’ neck as he hugged Kris tightly

 

“wh-what-“

 

“i love you Kris!! i’m not scared of you.. i’m scared of myself.. i’m scared i’ll hurt myself..i’ll hurt you…i’ll hurt us!! i love you not because i’m scared of you… i love you because i love you… i just love you… don’t go..” Luhan said between his sobbing

 

“go where?” Kris asked , making Luhan stopped his cry and looked up at Kris

 

“you… your father… he said.. you will go to the airport and catch your flight to USA…” Luhan said innocently

 

“huh..that old jerk!!” Kris scoffed

 

“you know what, Lu.. if you ever asked how come i become this bad.. it’s because of him.. i got his gene..”

 

“w-what do you mean?” Luhan asked confusedly

 

“he lied, Lu!!! i am going to the airport, but i’m going to pick my uncle from USA…” he chuckled. Luhan gasped knowing he just got tricked by Kris' father.

 

“s-so you won’t go anywhere?”

 

“it depends..” Kris said as he looked at Luhan’s eyes seriously

 

“it depends if what you’ve just said now is true, i won’t go… but if it isn’t-“

 

“it’s true!!!!” Luhan cut him

 

“so.. you love me not because you’re scared of me?” Luhan nodded

 

“and you love me because the real i am?’ Luhan nodded again

 

“say the words, Lu.. say the words… and i’ll stay…”

 

“i love you, Kris!!! i love you!! i love you so much!! i lo-“ Kris cut Luhan by kissing his lips lovingly.

 

Luhan deepened the kiss, trying to make Kris sure that what he said was true. They kissed, forgetting that they still lied in the cold asphalt. they broke the kiss when they out of breath.

 

“i love you, Lu…”

 

“i love you too, Kris..” Kris smiled widely. finally Luhan replied his love. he kissed Luhan once again as Luhan also welcomed him. they kissed once again until they lose their breath

 

“wanna continue to my room?”
