I abandoned the soda and found myself within the large crowd of bystanders.  Everyone was panicking and talking over each other, too distracted to notice my sudden appearance.  From afar, the red rescue boat was dispatched and on its way.  I held my breath as I waited for the lifeguards to reach the specific spot.  

The blood was still flowing out from the wound and infusing with the violent water, the unexpected strong thump I heard earlier was now steadying into a constant rhythm.

As soon as the boat returned back to the sand, I grinned when one of the rescued victims came into view.

"So who should I be looking for?"

Her wound was healed, blood no longer linger in the air.  Her eyes met mine by chance and a flash of red appeared in those brown orbs.  

"That person will reborn from the water."
