Dear Journal,
He held me so tight that I could barely breathe. I could tell he was in pain, I felt tears coming from his face. I looked at him, and surely he was crying. He told me it was because I was hurt, and the only way he can make himself sad was to cry with me . JB told me he never wants to see me cry, run and hide like I did today. He only wants to see my smile and hear laughter. I thought why was I so heartbroken by Jackson?. Now I know because I believed that Jackson was my happiness but truth is that Jackson was just a partner I felt comfortable with and had a crush. But JB made me realize that the people In my life is my source of happiness.

JB is such a gentlemen how come you don't like him? My mom ask me when I enter the house. It's not that I don't like him mom, I'm giving my heart a break from love i replied. My mom laughed at me like i knew nothing about love. She once told me love was happiness and kindness. You love someone because they bring you happiness and they have a heart you want to cherish. It's not that I don't know the meaning of love. I just want to take a break and give my heart a break from heartaches and pain.
JB walked me home after school I told my mother. She gave me a funny look and said " does he like me and that's why he walks me home everyday?" I replied and said no. he is our neighbor so that's the reason. The people in my house hold ask to many questions so I'm a very honest to god person. But I being to remember the words JB said to me " i'll be the source of your happiness '' was he just saying that to cheer me up our was he just kidding. I heard the door bell ring and so I went to answer it.
JB: hey Haeryung sorry to brother you but can I join you for dinner ?
Me: ( why why is he at my house and asking to join me for dinner ?) sure come on in let me tell my mom .
I invited him in and he sat down with my father and spoke, but I ran into the kitchen. My heat was pounding so fast I looked at my mom and she knew already that I was falling for JB and laughed at me. I thought to myself is he the source to my happiness?

We sat down at the dinner table. JB sat next to me, I couldn't imagine that he was actually sitting beside me, even though we sat like this at lunch time. This time it was at my house with my parents ! What is JB thinking , to join me and my parents dinner.

My Mom : So JB, I heard that you are a star student, is it true?
JB: I'm not really a bright student but I do try my best.
Me : JB, I didn't know you were a star student.

I was shock that he was a star student, but how come he isn't in higher classes.

JB; Actually your daughter is a star student herself. She tries really hard.

My mom: Oh, How come she didn't tell us ( looking at me with her death stare )

Me : Mom I actually didn't know that I was a star student, remember we just moved to this country. How could I make to the top ten already.

My dad : It's possible, you just don't believe in yourself enough.

JB; I'm glad she is my friend, she is a really bright student.

Me : Excuse me , are you my teacher ? (looking at JB , I can see that he was smiling and about to laugh )

JB and I burst Into laughter. I can see that my parents beginning to question our relationship .
My Dad : So JB, what made you want to be friends with our daughter. She is new in town , but only you came to visit.

JB : Well first thing first. Your daughter is amazing, she is my ideal girl but we are only friends. She is beyond smart and beautiful, don't get me wrong but her personality is so amazing that I myself can't compare . Lastly she is new and I'm just making new friends.

My dad : So you have no intentions to date my daughter ?

Me : Dad!

JB: Its ok , I actually came here to ask you sir if I could take your daughter out tomorrow.

Me : What?!

My Dad: Go ahead she is all yours tomorrow.

Me: Mom !

My dad: Be young and have fun !

My mom : sweetie your dad is right ...

JB: Haeryung , Just join me tomorrow I promise you will have a lot of fun .

Me : I guess I can go with you.

Dinner ended and I was shock that he ask me in front of my parents. Things were so different with Jackson. I would always have to lie to them so that I can go on dates with Jackson. But with JB, he is just being a gentlemen and asking my parents' permission. I walked JB out the door.

JB: Haeryung .. I have a question ?

Me : JB just go ahead and ask ...

JB : I know that you just broke up with your boyfriend from the states but would you consider giving me a chance.

Me : JB.... I will consider, You are such a sweet heart.

I gave him a hug goodbye.... I watch him walk to his house, I saw a shadow waiting for him by his door. It looked like a girl figure. The shadow followed him in to his house , I wonder who that could be. Was it Jiyeon ?
Does he still have feelings for her ?
Why am I even asking myself these questions , he isn't even my man .... Am I in love with him ?
