A Pirate's Wife for Me

Fifteen minutes had passed and Asuna was still arguing with Chanyeol. The entire crew had gathered on deck to see what all the shouting had been about.

"Look- there's nothing we can do about it now. How about you just settle this the next time we see them?" She reasoned. Turning the ship around just to face Luhan and punish Kris would be a waste of time, and everyone knew it.

"I agree with Asuna. We're right on course, and turning back now would be a huge waste of time. Let's just keep going. They're bound to catch up sooner or later." Baekhyun said. He was Chanyeol's co-captain after all.

There was a moment of silence, and Chanyeol took a deep breath.

"Alright. But honestly, Asuna. I wish that you would have told me earlier you were injured." He said.

"Why? So you could have beaten Kris while we were still with them?" She questioned, hands on her hips.

"Well that- and so that I didn't make you work in the kitchen. Kyungsoo told me how you did such a great job, after all. It sounded like you worked too hard."

"W-what?! I never said any such thing!" Kyungsoo raged, face turning red. Kai's arms enveloped Kyungsoo's neck affectionately.

"Hyung~ What do you mean? I was right there when you said it!" He chuckled, tightening his grip.

"YAH! Get off of me you brat!"

A small fight ensued between the two, and Chanyeol spoke to Asuna under his voice.

"You're showing me that injury later, whether you like it or not." He stated. It was clear that he was leaving no room for arguments.

"B-but I-"

"No but's. And Suho will be there too. He is our physician, after all."

Asuna's face turned bright red.

"WHAT? No way! I didn't even want you looking at it. I can't have Suho see me like that!" She wailed, covering her cheeks.

"Don't worry. Suho's affection is merely parental. He isn't dirty minded, like others." Chanyeol rose an eyebrow at Baekhyun, who wasn't paying attention, but was instead trying to break up Kai and Kyungsoo's fight.

"Chanyeol- hold her down!" Suho yelled.

"I can't you idiot. Remember I can't touch her?" He responded, hands on his hips.

"That hasn't stopped you before…" Suho mumbled, barely able to hold Asuna down on his own. She was wiggling like a worm.

"DAMMIT SUHO! I'M TICKLISH! STOP IT!" She squealed, giggling until tears brimmed her eyes. Chanyeol couldn't help but smile. She looked so cute when she was laughing.

"Fine. But if I stop- you need to take your shirt off. Ok?" Suho reasoned, giving her a serious look.

"Aish. Ok. Fine." Asuna said briefly, setting her hands down into her lap in surrender.

But as soon as Suho backed away for a brief moment, she darted out of the room in a matter of seconds.

It couldn't be helped- a small squeak of excitement parted from her lips. This feeling… it was almost like déjà vu. Like she had done this before. She was slowly remembering how being around the crew felt, and it made her happy.

But that didn't change much. She still couldn't remember anything. It was only a feeling.

She could hear Suho and Chanyeol calling after her as she ran through the corridors underneath the ship. She ran a sharp corner, and suddenly felt arms grab her from the side, pulling her into a dark room.

A rough, large hand flew around , and she attempted to pry it off, letting loose a silent scream.

"Shh. Asuna, be quite. You don't want them to catch you, do you?" She heard a voice whisper behind her. She could not see anything, but it was quite obvious that this was a small storage room. So small that within seconds, Asuna and the mystery man had slowly sunk down to the floor in a sitting position.

Whomever the man was, his back was up against the wall, and Asuna's back was against his chest. His body wrapped around hers like a snake enveloping it's prey. Her body grew hot with embarrassment. If only all the men had the curse.

She could feel his steady heart beat against her back, and his legs were long enough to stretch far below hers. One of his arms was propped against her fluttering heart, the arm that belonged to the hand that was clamped around . The other arm was wrapped around her waist, restricting her movements greatly.

She could smell his sweet breath as his soft cheek rested against hers in a similar way to how Kyungsoo's had earlier when he had taught her how to cut the vegetables.

Could this be Kyungsoo? No. This mans voice was deeper.

Asuna could hear Suho run by, talking to Chanyeol.

"Where did she go? She couldn’t have gone that far." He yelled, seemingly right outside the door.

Asuna's body grew tense. This was like a high-stakes game of hide and seek.

"Ha. Don't forget that this is Amora we're talking about. She was as swift as a fox. Just keep looking." Chanyeol replied, following in Suho's direction.

When their steps had faded, the large hand slowly dropped from Asuna's mouth, and a very shady light came on that seemed to be an oil lantern.

The dim light revealed a very amused looking Sehun.

"S-sehun? What are you doing in here?" Asuna stuttered. She was quite flustered, and moved slowly away from Sehun's massive body. Massive compared to hers, at least.

"You know. I'm just hanging around."

"In a storage closet?"

Sehun laughed.

"To tell you the truth I was getting bandages for you on Suho's orders. So you must be running away because Suho plans to change the bandages?"

Asuna made a face, and nodded solemnly.

"But why are you running away? It's not like they are going to see anything…" Sehun trailed off.

"Well I know that… Bandages are covering everything important… but I'm just embarrassed I guess…"

"Embarrassed about what? Wait a second- don't tell me. Your size?" Sehun laughed, and Asuna gave him a swift shove to the shoulder.

"Yah- Don't say it like that. That's not what I'm worried about!" She reasoned, unconsciously covering her chest.

"Then what ARE you worried about? Chanyeol doesn't mind. I'm pretty sure he'll love you no matter what size you are…"

"WILL YOU SHUT UP ABOUT THAT?! I'm just embarrassed is all. I mean- would you strip down in front of a stranger? It's not exactly normal."

"Hm. I guess your right. But Chanyeol probably doesn't see it that way. Remember- the only side of you he's seen is Amora. She loved him, and he loved her. That's all there is to it. It must be hard for him to suddenly turn back time and pretend that those things never happened. Starting from scratch isn't easy. You may have had your memory swiped- but he didn't." Sehun said knowingly.

Asuna sighed deeply, feeling badly.

"I really am sorry. I wonder why Amora wanted her memories erased in the first place? And I guess I should stop talking about her like she's someone else because really… I am her."

"It must be like having an out-of-body experience. But don't worry- I'm pretty sure Chanyeol knows what he's doing. Just trust him. Amora did."

"What do you mean? Does Chanyeol know why I erased my memories?" Asuna asked Sehun.

"I'm pretty sure he does. Let's just say that before you disappeared- you and Chanyeol were being really secretive. You guys barely left Chanyeol's quarters for meals even. Suho delivered food to his room, but other than that, none of us saw you. Suho just told us that 'Amora is making some big decisions right now, and we can't get in her way.'"

There was a moment of silence. All Asuna could think about was why Amora would want to do it. Maybe it would do something for her? Like- something to do with the curse?

"By the way, why don't you talk more to Chanyeol about going back to the 21st century? You don't seem very torn up about it." Sehun asked.

"Hm. Now that you mention it- its weird. The only thing I can remember from that time is falling into the lake to save my friend, Donghae. When I woke up, I was here. I can't remember anything else. What my parents looked like, what my life was like- nothing. So maybe… maybe Amora did plant false memories. But why?" Asuna hunched forward. This was making her frustrated. What had Amora- what had she been thinking?

There had to be an explanation.

I'll have to ask Chanyeol.

"Anyways- to answer your question- I guess I don't really feel the need to go back, considering it was all fake anyways. Besides- I don't think there is a way back."

*SLAM*

The door flew open suddenly, cutting their conversation short, and revealed a very angry looking Suho.

"Chanyeol- I found her!" He yelled to his left.

"What? But I passed that door three times!" He wailed back.

Within seconds Chanyeol stood in front of the door, arms crossed.

"Do you know how long we've been looking for you? And Sehun, you helped her?"

"What? No. I was just following Suho's instructions to get more bandages when Asuna burst through the door, threatening me to keep quite or else she would do something horrible." Sehun defended- arms in the air.

"YOU TRAITOR! NOT TO MENTION LIAR!" Asuna accused, standing up and pushing Sehun to the side.

"Sorry Asuna, but I can't afford to be on kitchen duty again. These precious hands weren't made for hard labor~" He swooned.

"YOU IDIOT! THEN WHY DID YOU BECOME A PIRATE?" She replied, but before Sehun could answer, Suho grabbed Asuna, and dragged her out of the closet.

"Aish. Suho- let go of me. I promise I won't run away this time!" She pleaded. Unfortunately, Asuna felt a warm liquid drip down her back. Damn. Had her wounds re-opened after running from Suho and Chanyeol?

She felt herself growing lightheaded, and she blinked rapidly, widening her eyes to stay awake.

"Uhhhg. I don't feel too good." Her head drooped forward, and she tryed to push away the excruciating pain that was erupting from her back.

"Don't think you can fool me again Asuna-" Suho began, only to be cut off by Chanyeol.

"No Suho- I don't think she's faking. Dammit." Even though Chanyeol was being sparked by the curse, he pulled up the back of Asuna's shirt, revealing a torn bandage, along with a large gash.

"Oh my gosh. It's infected." Sehun murmured in the corner.

"No offense Asuna, but that looks really gross." He pointed.

"Oh great- just what I needed! An infected wound!" Asuna wailed miserably. And before she knew it, her eyes closed, and her consciousness faded to black.

"Damn those idiots. I swear- Luhan's crew has got to be the biggest bunch of morons I've ever seen in one place. They can't even clean a wound right? What's wrong with them?" Asuna could hear Suho raving in the distance. Or at least, it sounded like he was far away.

For all she knew, he could be sitting right next to her. Where was she? In Chanyeol's room possibly?

"I know. But I should have gone to her sooner. I should have found her before Luhan. It's my fault. I mean I get it- they were probably expecting Amora's usual fight. In the past, Amora would throw more than a few punches before she let anyone capture her. They had probably assumed that she would throw a fit before they could get their hands on her. Kris was probably being rough with her for that reason… but it doesn't excuse what he did. She is a lady. Matter of fact- a princess. She shouldn't be treated that way. I'll never forgive him." Chanyeol seethed, grinding his jaw.

"That may be so- but don't forget that if Luhan hadn't picked her up out of the middle of nowhere, she would most likely be dead from dehydration or something along that line. Even though Luhan knew that it was a possibility for Asuna to put up a fight, he still tried to help her." Suho countered, although he didn't really want to stick up for the arrogant captain.

Asuna felt like it wasn't right to listen in on their conversation, but she couldn't help but be a little curious.

"So. When do you plan on telling her? Matter of fact, the whole crew is a little unnerved. They want to know what happened as well." Suho offered.

"What? Tell them that there is a way to break the curse? I can't. It's too dangerous. If word get's out to Luhan somehow-" Chanyeol began in a frustrated voice.

"But it won't. We've all known each other for years. You should trust your crew by now." Suho countered.

What? There's a way to break the curse? But in all honesty, do I want it to be broken? The past me- Amora- may have wanted to break the curse, but what good will it do me now? Asuna's thoughts ran in every direction. This new information was certainly interesting.

"And not only that- I think you should also tell them about Amora. What she was planning with Entei. That bastard…" Suho trailed off, anger growing in his voice.

"Damn it all. I wish I could- but you know that at least that bit of information would be too dangerous to tell them. To know that Red Scar's son Entei is coming after Asuna for revenge for his father's death? That would be too much for even them. That blasted fool… he's the only one that knows how to break this curse after all…"

WHAT? Red Scar's vengeful son is coming after me?? And he knows about the curse? Good Lord, Amora. You've made so many enemies, it's hard for me to keep track of them all. Asuna thought back to her time with Luhan's crew, when Xiumin had told her about Amora's sudden appearance while Red Scar and his fearsome crew of pirates had been blackmailing a rich King in his castle. She had engaged Red Scar in a duel to the death, and had obviously won.

But to know that now a blood thirsty pirate named Entei was coming after her for revenge, it shook her down to her bones.

How frightening.

"Before Amora asked me to help her erase her memories, Entei pursued us whilst we were in a small city in Spain. Remember when we docked the ship for about a week, and Amora and I left for 'urgent business'? Well in reality, Amora had heard about a witch that lived in a remote swamp. In order to gather weapons and supplies for the long trip, we stopped, wanting to stock up. On our way out of the trading sight, we came across a wanted poster with Amora's face on it.

It read: Wanted, Amora Napier. Dead or Alive. *If you are somehow able to capture her, contact Entei, the Prince of Pirates for your reward." Chanyeol said.

"What? So this man really is serious about his revenge? That doesn't sound good." Suho remarked.

"Yes. I'm afraid he is serious. Anyways- after we gathered our supplies we stopped at a local tavern to grab a drink. It was there that we spotted Entei and a few members of his crew. We tried to leave before he noticed us, but unfortunately he saw us sneaking out of the corner of his eye.

Entei and I then engaged in a short sword fight while I told Amora to get away from the area. Once she left, I followed behind."

"Ah. I see. Well putting that aside, I guess we should probably clean this wound before it becomes more infected." Suho stated, and his hands slowly crept towards Asuna's shirt.

Her eyes flew open, and she grabbed his hands in mid-air.

"Please Suho. Just let me do it." She croaked. Suho and Chanyeol both seemed equally surprised.

"Asuna, have you been eavesdropping on us?" Chanyeol asked, baffled.

"What? Of course not! You both just happened to be discussing things while I was awake. It's not my fault I heard everything."

"But you could have told us you were awake!" Suho grumbled, pulling his hands out of her grasp.

"And then you wouldn't have told me anything. I'm tired of knowing nothing about myself. About Amora. But now I do." Asuna smiled mischievously.

"Whatever. That doesn't change the fact that you can't reach your back, so I need to do this for you. Would you rather die of an infection?" Suho asked.

"No- of course not. Ugh- how about we compromise? Chanyeol can't be in here. The less people that see me- the better." Asuna bargained.

"Fine. Chanyeol- get lost." Suho said simply.

"Is that any way to speak to your captain? But fine. I'm only doing this for Asuna." Chanyeol said grudgingly, and sulked out of the room. When the door had shut, Suho turned back to Asuna.

"Now why don't we get this over with?" Suho said, and gently began peeling Asuna's shirt off.

"WAIT JUST A DAMN MINUTE! Can't you just look at my back?" And without discussion, Asuna turned around so that Suho wouldn't see her chest- or it's lack there of.

"Whatever floats your boat." He replied, not really minding. Once the shirt was removed, Suho cut off the bandages that were wrapped around her torso. This proved to be a difficult task because they were practically glued to the wound, and it only succeeded in making the cut bleed again.

Even so, the process was extremely painful. It was beginning to become too much to bare. Suho could see that Asuna was in distress.

"Asuna, is there anything I can do to make it less painful? Why don't we call Chanyeol in?" He suggested.

She shook her head. "No, that defeats the entire purpose of sending him out in the first place." She whimpered, clumping her fists full of her pants. Suho saw this and slid his hand into hers.

"Just squeeze my hand if it hurts, ok?" He said sweetly. It was very parental, and Asuna felt warmed by the gesture. She nodded silently, and intertwined her fingers through his.

(A:N/ So this was a badly written chapter, I know. I knew that I had to fit the information about Entei in somehow, but it ended up sounding awkward and unfitting of the scene. None the less, I hope you all enjoyed this brief moment between Suho and Asuna. It's not supposed to be romantic at all- he's supposed to be the one that comforts Asuna in times of despair.

And NO. I did NOT get Entei's name from the Pokemon. Entei is a name found in an old Japanese legend about a vengeful horse that sells it's soul to demons to get revenge on humanity after it was killed on the battlefield. It turns into a swift beast that is able to fly in mid-air, and breaths fire capable of destructing cities.

So what will happen with Asuna and Entei? Does he really know how to break the curse?)
