"What?" Kai breathed in surprise, eyes widening in shock as his breath hitched in his throat. It was if his heart stopped beating, and nothing but those words were lingering in his mind. Kai shook his head, pleadingly looking up at the scientist, "Please tell me you're joking."

"Tell me you're lying." Kai pleaded, grabbing the man by the collar again, but his fists were weak, and David was able to easily pry his hands off his partner, "This can't be true."

"Unfortunately, it is." Ian sighed, straightening his lab-coat with a distressed sigh. He looked up at the beta, pleading him with his eyes as his head turned to look at the rest of the pack, "You need to save her. Both her and her daughter."

"If I'm not wrong, it's your daughter as well." David added, looking at Kai with soft eyes.

Now, Kai's heart was beating like crazy, hearing those few words. It was a new feeling rushing through his veins, and he didn't know if he felt proud, happy, sorry or all at once. A smile grew on his face as his eyes twinkled at the thought of having his own flesh and blood cradled in his arms.

But then it came crashing down on him how the government had kept his mate and daughter in, almost about to kill them. His eyes darkened with pure anger as he clenched his fists and turned around to face his pack. 

"Pack," he called, a smirk growing on his face. At the sound of the beta's voice, they all straightened their backs and pulled their attention to him, "let's get back our alpha."

Luna's POV

I sighed, looking down on the round hump on my stomach with a small smile. Looking around the grey, cold room I was placed in, I placed a hand on my stomach, feeling the small kick from the little girl inside me. 

"Your timing is really bad, little puppy. Really, really bad." I sighed, feeling her kick as an answer. Chuckling, I sighed once again, "I wonder how your father will react to you. He will for sure spoil you. He'll buy you the same clothes as his so you would match. He'll probably drop you once or twice in his life. Probably twice."

I didn't know that tears were already falling from my eyes. 

No One's POV

Kai was getting more impatient by the second as he stood on the other side of the table Ian and David were sitting by, talking about how to get into the laboratory. However, none of the word said registered properly into Kai's head, because all he was thinking of was his girlfriend and his unborn daughter.

Noticing him spacing out, Suho nudged Kai, making the younger jump back to reality. 

"Once we get the CCTV and guards down, it will get easier. However, you only have around 20 minutes to go in, get Luna and then get out. If the gates closes on you, you're basically ed." David explained, bringing his finger back and forth on the map of the whole lab, "Who can be in charge of hacking the system?"

"I worked at the computer shop a while ago. I was able to hack myself into The Bank of Korea with a few codes." Chen informed, making the two men's eyes widen in surprise, "I didn't do anything though."

"We need a diversion too." Ian reminded his partner, and the partner quickly nodded in a agreement.

"I feel like Chanyeol, Kyungsoo, Sehun and Luhan will do great with that." Suho sighed, patting Kyungsoo on the back as the younger gla
