Yoona's POV

 

“The number you have dialed is curr...” I hung up the phone after hearing that same message for the nth time tonight. Jessica is either

really mad at me or she's already sleeping... She didn't answer any of my text messages. Giving up for the night, I decided to send her

one last message.

 

Hey, are you asleep? If so, goodnight and sweet dreams~ but if you're not, I'm really sorry and I miss you. I love you Jessica

Jung Sooyeon, I hope you know that.

Sighing, I put my phone on the bedside table and stared up at my ceiling. It felt like it was only yesterday when I finally had the guts to

confess to a certain girl.

~flashback~

 

After that wonderful encounter with Jessica, my mind couldn't stop thinking about her. Always texting each other also added onto

Jessica completely taking over my mind. I mean it was just too cute when she would randomly text me and complain about not being

able to take a nap. Or how she would whine about some prank that Sunny pulled on her.

 

But after a while Jessica got super busy with their third Japanese tour starting, so we barely had time to contact each other. I started to

miss her. I would text her if she ate or if she's doing alright and she'll reply if she can. I understand though, I mean she's an idol and

me, well I was just a fan.

 

It was the 16^th of July when I realized that I love Jessica, more than admiration as a fan, but I truly love her. Like I seriously wanted to

be with her. Honestly, it hit me like sudden rain on a sunny day. I just realized that the reason why I always thought about Jessica and

why I was always worried about her, and why I always miss her although we only communicate through text, is because I love her.

And I knew that it wasn't going anywhere. So I decided to go for it and tell her how I feel.

 

But I had a problem, Jessica was still in Japan.

 

“Hey Yoona you doing okay?” Taeyeon suddenly called me during the middle of the night.

 

“Yeah of course.” I replied. Man here comes umma Taeng again. Whenever she notices something off about me she gets all motherly

and starts to overthink.

 

'You sure?”

 

“Yeah of course I am Tae, why?”

 

“I don't know. It's just that lately you've always been zoned out or staring at your phone. You know you can tell me anything right

Yoong?”

 

“Of course Tae. It's just..you know my situation right? I was just thinking that's all.” I lied.

 

“Alright I'll let you go this time. But remember Yoong, happiness doesn't come to you, you have to make it happen.” Taeyeon finally

gave in, while giving me some wise words as always.

 

 

“Thanks Tae. I'll talk to you later.”

 

“Alright see you. Goodnight.”

 

“Yeah, goodnight.”

 

After Taeyeon hung up, I started to think about what she said.

 

“I have to make my own happiness huh. But my happiness is in the form of Jessica Jung and I'm not sure that she feels the same.” I

sighed and began another restless night filled with thoughts about Jessica.

 

It was four days later at Gimpo airport when fate brought us back together.

 

“Oh I am so sorry miss.” I apologized after accidentally bumping into a brunette, causing all the things in her hands to fall.

 

“Oh no it's okay, it's my fault for not payi...”she stopped after we both reached for her passport, our hands touching, and soon our eyes

met.

 

“Yoona.”

 

“Jessica.”

 

“Uhm hi.” I awkwardly said as we both got up.

 

“Hello again, long time no see.” She chuckled.

 

“Haha yeah.”

 

“Uhm so what are you doing here?” Jessica asked after I handed her passport to her.

 

“I uh I uhm..”

 

Oh what am I suppose to say? Uhm I came here to fly to Japan and see you cause I miss you? Uh yeah no.

 

“Well I'm a sone and a fan site master right?”

 

“Oh.” Jessica's face fell for a bit but then she regained that smile of hers.

 

“Yeah, I'm one of the people with a hidden camera trying to catch pretty and or derpy photos of you.” I chuckled.

 

“Of me? I thought you're a fan site master for Fany?” She looked at me weirdly.

 

“Yeah, but by you I meant her and you and the others in the group.”

 

“Oh, right.” Jessica awkwardly chuckled.

 

I wanted to continue my conversation with Jessica but her phone rang.

 

“Hello unnie? Oh right, I'll be at the gate soon. Yeah I just saw a friend and we caught up. Yup I'll be there soon. Mhm okay bye.”

Jessica quickly answered and gave me a cute apologetic face of hers.

 

“I'll text you later?”

 

“Yeah, I'll see you at the concert.” I smiled and watched as Jessica walked away.

 

I think I stood in my spot for another 5 minutes after Jessica left when an announcement let me know that my flight was about to leave.

 

“Oh sh!t.” I whispered to myself and ran to my gate.

“IM YOONA WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?” I answered Taeyeon's call after I landed and arrived at my hotel in Tokyo.

 

“Uhm Tokyo.” I answered.

 

“WHAT? WHY?”

 

“Well you told me that happiness doesn't come to me, but I make it happen, so I'm going after my happiness.” I replied.

 

“Hold on, I don't get you Yoong. Why is your happiness in Tokyo? What are you hiding from me? Did you finally agree to your parents

wishes?” Taeyeon finally stopped yelling into the phone.

 

“No Tae of course I hate the business you know that. My happiness is..well I can't tell you now. I have to go I'm late.”

 

“Yah yah Im Yoona don't you dare han..” but I didn't let her finish and hung up. Glancing to my right, the clock read 4PM.

 

“It's now or never.” I encouraged myself, while I dialed Jessica's number.

 

By the third ring I was about to hung up, but then she answered.

 

“Hello Yoongie?” Jessica answered.

 

“Uhm Hi.”

 

“What's up?” She asked.

 

“I..uhm..I was wondering if you had anything planned for the evening after the concert?”

 

“Nothing that I know of why?”

 

“I was just wondering if you wanted to grab some dinner or I can bring you dinner, or you know whatever.” I awkwardly said. God

dammit Im Yoona why are you such an awkward turtle around Jessica?

 

“Haha are you asking me out on a date?”

 

“A date? Uhm I guess you can call it that, but if your busy or tired I totally understand, I mean it's all short notice and all. Plus I bet the

others....”

 

“Pick me up at 8?” Jessica said while I was still babbling.

 

“Or I can pick you up at..wait what?” I asked, thinking that I actually heard wrong.

 

“Your so cute Yoongie. I'll see you at 8 then?”

 

“Yeah. See you, don't worry I know where you are.” I chuckled and hung up the phone.

 

“ASSA!!” I cheered and rushed to prepare.

“Hey.” I smiled as I saw Jessica walk out of the lobby. Wearing a hat that really didn't cover her beauty.

 

“How'd you know it was me.” She pouted.

 

“Well your incognito look wasn't doing you much.” I chuckled, while I playfully removed her hat.

 

“So let's go?” I asked while I gestured towards my car.

 

“Let's.” She smiled and hooked her arm around mine.

 

“So where to?” She asked.

 

“You'll see.” I smiled and kept driving.

 

After a 20 minute drive we finally arrived at my special spot.

 

“Wow, it's beautiful here.” Jessica walked forward while gazing up at the night sky.

 

“Yeah, it really is.” I smiled while I watched her in awe, after I finished setting up our picnic blanket and taking the food out.

 

“How did you know about this place Yoongie?” She asked while we ate dinner.

 

“My parents and I used to come here when we stayed in Japan for a bit. We loved this field because the night's sky was always so

beautiful.” I smiled while starring up at the sky.

 

“Used to? So your parents are..” Jessica trailed off.

 

“Oh no no, they're not dead.. we just haven't spoken in a while.”

 

“What about your siblings?”

 

“I don't have any.” I replied, creating an awkward silence between us.

 

“You must be lonely.” Jessica spoke up after a few minutes.

 

“Sometimes yeah. But I have my friends and they're like my 2^nd family.”

 

“That's good. I'm glad you weren't lonely. I can't even imagine my life without Soojung.”

 

“Yeah, your a good unnie, Sica. I can see the way you care for your sister on Jessica & Krystal.” I smiled.

 

“You watch that?” She asked seeming shy.

 

“Of course, it's my favorite show.” I beamed.

 

“Yeah I like filming with Soojung too. I get to see her even more and we can show people our true selves.”

 

“You know, after watching the 2 episodes that aired and reading all the comments, I can easily say that you Sica now has the role as

Korea's favorite unnie.”

 

“What? No, I'm just like any sister out there.” Jessica replied.

 

The night went on, and Jessica and I learned a lot more about each other. But all good things must come to an end, but I still haven't

told her about how I feel.

 

“I had fun tonight Yoongie.” Jessica said, while we stood in front of the hotel's main entrance. It was close to midnight when we got

back so it was pretty empty.

 

“Yeah I had fun too.” I simled

 

“So I'll see you around then?”

 

“Yeah, see you around.”

 

“Goodnight Yoongie.” Jessica smiled.

 

“Goodnight to you too Sica.” I said, and watched as she entered the hotel.

 

Yoona you idiot why didn't you confess to her earlier?! I chided myself for being a coward. Next time I see her, I definitely will tell her

that I love her, because tonight just re-confirmed that I am madly and deeply in love with Jessica.

 

Getting back to my hotel room I cursed when I realized that I had to be at the airport in 5 hours. Man... this is what happens when I

book a one day trip.

I had my headphones plugged in and the world tuned out, while I sat in my seat waiting as the rest of the plane boarded.

 

“Hey there stranger.” A not so strange voice smiled, while she removed one of my headphones.

 

“Sica? What are you doing here?” I asked looking around and seeing the other members behind us. I happened to get a first class

ticket too since the cheaper seats were all booked.

 

“Well I'm going back to Seoul silly.” She chuckled.

 

“Oh right, I forgot you guys also return today.”

 

Our conversation was cut short when Tiffany appeared from behind.

 

“Hey Jess..oh hi, Yoona right?” Tiffany beamed.

 

“Uh Yeah, how do you know my name?”

 

“Of course I would know that name of the girl that takes my photo, you're my fan site master right?”

 

“Yes I am Tiffany unnie, my name is Im Yoona.” I bowed my head.

 

“No need to be so formal Yoona, just call me Tiffany or Tiff or Fany.”

 

“Okay then Tiffany.” I beamed.

 

“Did you come to the concert?” Tiffany asked.

 

“Yup I enjoyed it. And I got some great shots of you too.” I whispered.

 

“Really? Can I...” Tiffany began but was interrupted by the flight attendant who kindly asked her to take her seat and fasten her seat

belt since the plane was about to take off.

 

I was about to talk to Jessica again, but she was fast asleep already. I chuckled at how cutely she looked asleep and how her head

bobbed a bit, so I gently placed her head on my shoulder and decided to join her in dream land.

 

Hours later I woke up and Jessica was already up, which surprised me.

 

“Hey.” I smiled, but she just gave me the cold shoulder.

 

“Uh Sica did I do something wrong?” I tapped her shoulder, but she still ignored me.

 

I wanted to keep trying to talk to Jessica, but Tiffany popped out of nowhere and we ended up talking the rest of the flight. Tiffany tried

to get Jessica into the conversation but she just ignored us.

 

“Hey Sica what's wrong you've been giving me the cold shoulder for a while?” I asked her after we landed, but she just walked away.

 

What the? Seriously what's wrong with her? Having enough, I decided to confront her.

 

“Can we please talk?” I held her wrist and dragged her to a secluded area in Gimpo.

 

“There's nothing to talk about.” She coldly said and was about to leave, when I held onto her again.

 

“Yes there is. You've been giving me the cold shoulder since earlier. So tell me..please. I hate not hearing your voice.” I pleaded,

intertwining our hands together.

 

“Just go back to your Tiffany unnie, you like her more than me anyways right?” She said and was about to walk again. But then it hit

me..she's jealous.

 

“Hold on, are you by chance jealous?” I asked with a face splitting grin.

 

“Jealous me? I am not jealous.” She replied.

 

“Yeah you are, but want to know a secret.” I asked her.

 

“What?” She looked confused.

 

“I didn't go to Japan for the concert.” I said holding onto her hands again.

 

“What? What do you mean?” she asked.

 

I guess it really is NOW or never.

 

“I went there because I missed you.”

 

“Say that again, I didn't catch that.” She replied with a grin on her face.

 

“I said I missed you, like a lottle, it's like a little except a lot.” I smiled while the grin on her face turned into one of her ever so beautiful

smiles.

 

“Look Sica, I know this isn't where I should be telling you all this but, I like you, no scratch that, I love you. I..I don't know how or when,

but I just woke up one day and I realized that I love you. That I think about you all the time. I always long to be with you.” I confessed.

 

“I..Yoona..I..”

 

“Look, you don't have to tell me that you feel the same, because you probably don't. I just wanted to tell you about what I feel. I mean,

I'm sure that you have a lot of admirers, and..oh God, you might have a boyfriend already or girlfriend. But I don't care because I

needed to tell you how I feel, but I hope this doesn't make any..mmmmpphhhh.” Jessica interrupted my blabbering by pressing our lips

together.

 

“Thing weir...wow.” I voiced out after we pulled apart.

 

“Wow, that's all you have to say?” She asked her hands still around my neck.

 

“I..uhm..I..what was that for?” I asked.

 

“To shut you up. I don't know if anyone's told you, but you talk to much.” She chuckled.

 

“Sorry, I blab when I'm nervous.” I chuckled with her.

 

“But wait, are we? Like? Together?” I asked.

 

“Well do you want to be? Because I do like you too Yoona, in fact I kinda also like you a lottle, it's a little except a lot.” She copied me.

 

“Well then, Jessica Jung Sooyeon, will you please be mine?” I asked.

 

“I will, if you promise not to get to close to Fany.” She pouted.

 

“Haha you were jealous. Aigoo our Sica is so cute~” I smiled.

 

“Shut up...” She pouted.

 

“Don't worry, my heart will only beat for you.” I winked.

 

“Tch already so cheesy Yoongie.”

 

“You..” I was about to say another cheesy line, but Jessica's phone rang.

 

“Hello Sunny? Yeah I'll be right there..Yeah sorry, I just had to use the restroom.” She answered.

 

“I'm sorry Yoongie I have to go.”

 

“It's okay, I understand, go. I'll call you tonight.” I kissed her on the cheek.

 

“Alright and Yoongie about us..” She began.

 

“I know, it's a secret right? Or else your fans will kill me.” I chuckled.

 

“It's not that I want to hide it...but..”

 

“It's okay Sica, I get it. Don't worry I trust you.”

 

“I love you Yoona.” She smiled.

 

“I love you too, now go, they might get suspicious.” I smiled.

 

I watched as Jessica walked away and when I was sure that she was a distance away, I literally ran to the parking garage where I left

my car.

 

“ASSA!! JESSICA JUNG LOVES ME!! SHE'S MINE!!” I yelled in my car.

I smiled after reminiscing about that day on the 22^nd of July. But then I frowned when I remembered that a certain brunette was still

giving me the cold shoulder.

 

But then I thought of something that might appease the not so icey princess.

A/N: okay so the back story of how yoonsic got together is finally done. Yay! Now we can focus on the present, how will yoona make it

up to jessica? Haha that's what I want to know too lol.
