Baekhyun woke up to the sound of bird chirping outside his window. It was lightly opened so he could hear them clearly. The sun beamed through the window and it made him even more annoyed as the light blinded his eyes. He squint his eyes at the bright light and groaned softly. He decided to get off from the bed to close the curtain but a light weight on his shoulder stopped him from moving.

As if last night scene was a dream, he couldn’t believe his eyes that the girl—his now officially girlfriend—was lying unconscious in his arms with closed eyes. He smiled softly at his sleeping face, she always looks innocent when she slept, that explained why Baekhyun loves watching her sleep.

He noticed her eyes were squint because of the sunlight so being a considerate boyfriend, he slightly pushed himself up to rest his back on the headboard and hovered his upper body over her. Her eyes stopped squinting and she snuggled into his chest this time, which made him smile in delight. Her adorableness didn’t help him to hold himself back from kissing her cheek, but to his surprise, he didn’t expect his mother would barge into his room without knocking. Baekhyun snapped his head up to look at his mother and silently groan.

His mother giggled as she noticed that she actually disturbed their, no Baekhyun little moment, but she entered anyway. She noticed the reason of Baekhyun’s weird position, and went to the window to help him close the curtain.

“Morning” She whispered, afraid of waking the son’s girlfriend from her beauty sleep.

“Morning, mom” Baekhyun whispered back, shifting from his previous position and sat against the headboard properly this time. He placed Eunji’s head on his laps

“How’s last night?” His mother asked excitedly, not caring the scowled from her son, which showed that he wasn’t in the mood to talk.

“We made out” He casually spilled as if he was talking about the weather. Mrs. Byun rolled her eyes and smacked her son’s head.

“I don’t want to know about that, you ert. Does she said anything like ‘I love you’ or something?”

Baekhyun glanced at the sleeping girl and sighed “Haven’t yet. Even though she said she had fallen for me, but she didn’t utter the special three words yet”

“It’s okay, she will one day” His mother convince but he shook his head

“I am afraid, mom. What if she doubts my love for her? It’s hard to handle her stubborn mind, mom”

“But you still love her whoever she is”

Those words made him smile “I love her so much I guess”

“True. Then if that’s the case, you shouldn’t give up your love just like that. Don’t make excuses of her stubbornness to stop yourself from loving her”

“You’re right...” Baekhyun nodded in agreement, facing down to watched her sleep as his hands caressed her hair. “...I think I have more responsibility now”

 “What is it?” His mother blinked at him in confusion when she saw her son’s wide grin

“Making her fall for me even more”

“Ahh~”

“Stop it” She hissed under her breath as she glanced at the parents who watched them in amusement.

She was joining the Byun for breakfast as Baekhyun had insisted. His mother greeted her morning when she woke up and they had a little chat before the maid had called for breakfast. As if Baekhyun knew that she wanted to leave without breakfast, he barged into his room and threatened for another make out session if she leave right away—in front of his mother. She swore if they weren’t at his house, she would’ve kill him right then and there because of the embarrassment

Mrs. Byun is indeed what the boys had described, active and loving. She was the one who started the conversation when there’s awkward tension in the room. She did the most talking and Eunji gladly listen as she talked about Baekhyun childhood. She amazingly made Eunji laughed about a story of Baekhyun.

Her clumsiness could be proven when she excused herself to exit the room and tripped on her own feet. It seemed like Baekhyun is used to her mother’s clumsiness because he was shaking his head instead of helping her up, leaving Eunji with anxious as the woman whined that she was in pain.

Mr. Byun on the other hand was a quiet person. He didn’t really talk but his handsome face cover all his personality from head to toe. Her boyfriend probably had the look from his father. He asked some questioned about Baekhyun during his stay in her house, and being Jung Eunji, she answered honestly. Like—

“He entered my room without knocking”

“Teaming up with my little brother to annoy me”

“Forced me to make ramen every midnight”

“Too much skinship”

Baekhyun didn’t seem to be bothered by all the talk she spilled as he ate his meal like nothing happened. Another half an hour is all about Baekhyun’s stay at her house, but after that Baekhyun finally opened his mouth to ask the question that he had been curious about since yesterday, since he found her sprawling on his bed.

“How is she here so suddenly yesterday, in my room and not to mention wearing my clothes too?” He asked, pointing at her with his spoon as if she was a ‘thing’. Eunji hissed angrily and slapped his hand away.

“I told you I was dragged here by my parents” She answered for him but he still didn’t satisfied with the answer, so he raised an eyebrow at his parents.

“Well, I ask her to stay over” Mrs. Byun told

“Forced” Eunji corrected her but the woman just ignored it with a grin.

“Mom” Baekhyun groaned “I know you plan all of this”

“Hey, shouldn’t you be grateful? At least with my help, you two are together now” His mother winked and Baekhyun chuckled, leaving the flustered Eunji nibbling on her spoon in embarrassment.

“I can handle her myself mom, she wouldn’t get away from my hands”

“Confident much” Both Mrs. Byun and Eunji snorted

“Like it or not, that’s the truth. Do you agree abeoji?” Baekhyun sent a meaningful wink at his father which the older replied with a chuckled.

“We are handsome anyway” He nodded in agreement and Mrs. Byun pretended to gag at her husband’s joke. Eunji giggled silently at the family’s interaction.

Baekhyun glanced at her direction when he heard her small laugh, he couldn’t help but smile to that rare sight from his girlfriend “Do you want to go anywhere today?” He whispered into her ears.

“I...don’t know...” She trailed off as her eyes glanced at the parents who still joke around with each other.

“Come on, consider this as our first date”

“Date?” Eunji blinked and bit her lips. She wasn’t sure if she would be able to control herself from not smiling too much of they were on a date. She knew some they would be some sweet gestured or romantics thing he would do if they were on it. She never saw Baekhyun treat girls in a romantic way except with her. From just the touch and talk she received from him, she already knew that he was the romantic type.

“It’s okay if you don’t want to go, we can just cuddle on bed if you want? Are you tired or something?”

“N—No” She found herself stammering and mentally slapped herself for that. “I-I think that’s a good idea, let’s go to cinema” She suggested and he nodded happily at her answer as he agreed on the suggestion. Without her permission, he pecked on her forehead and whispered again.

“Let’s finish our breakfast fast so we can have our alone time as soon as possible”

Eunji ended up wearing his lose long sleeved t-shirt that reach above her knees since she didn’t bring any spare clothes with her. Mr. Byun even let Baekhyun drove his personal car when his son told him that he wanted to bring his girlfriend on a date. They stop by at a mall to buy her clothes because, of course Baekhyun wouldn’t let her wore something that could easily revealed her thighs.

By the time they arrived at shop, all they do was arguing because—

“I hate pink, Baekhyun”

“No! That was too short!”

“Seriously it’s summer you want me to die because of heat or what”

“Don’t you dare wear that or I’ll seriously bring you to a hotel right away”

At the end, Eunji got to choose the pants she would wear and Baekhyun chose her t-shirts. It was all because of a staff’s suggestion who know that the argument wouldn’t have its end.

“Let’s buy your shoes!” He grinned as he dragged her towards another store in the mall. Eunji just huffed tiredly—all because of the arguments—and let the boy pulled her arms.

“How can we help you, sir?” A woman in her forties asked when they entered the shop,

“Do you have a pair of comfortable shoe for a date?” He grinned when he asked her and Eunji nudged his side in embarrassment.

The woman just chuckled lightly at his question and nodded happily “We have everything you want for your girlfriend. I’ll lead you” She gestures her hands at the shop and Baekhyun happily dragged you again to enter.

As expected, Baekhyun insisted that he would be the one who pick a pair for her. His usual threat of ‘I’ll make out with here if you argue’ surprisingly managed to shut . He would mumble to himself as he scanned around the rack of expensive looking shoes. She just trailed behind him as she heard him muttered some complaint about the design and colours.

Somehow, it made her heart flutters knowing that he wanted the best for her. unknowingly curled up into a small yet genuine smile as she watched him continuing his searching.

“Baby I’ll go search over there, stay here until I can find a perfect shoes for you, okay?”

“I’m fine with any shoes Baek, no need—“

“Hush!” He raised up his index finger “No argument remember, you know what’s your punishment don’t you?”

Eunji heaved out a tired sigh and unwillingly nodded her head “Great! Wait here” He firmly told her as if she was under his care and pecked her cheek before running over to the other side of the shop.

“How long have you two been together?” The woman who had greeted them just now asked after he left from her sight.

“Uh...just yesterday”

“Ahh~ A new couple” She nodded in understanding “Looks like he loves you longer than you do”

“He does” Eunji blushed, remembering the night when he confessed.

“You don’t need to be embarrassed in a relationship dear, it’s better to show how you love him too”

“Show...him?” Eunji hesitated. The woman nodded patted her shoulder before caressing her back in a soothing manner.

“With that way, he can find more reasons to love and protect you. Showing him love is as if you appreciate his love for you, don’t you think so?” The woman smiled “It takes time to throw away your embarrassment but believe me, there’s nothing to be embarrassed about if you do as what I said”

“How though?” Eunji glanced at him

“Tell him you love him, kiss him, hug him, anything that is out of love” The woman take a step back after she gave a last pat on her shoulder and by that time, Baekhyun came back with a box held in his hands.

“I found it!” He beamed “I think this is your right size, let’s just try this out first okay?” He suggested and kneel one knee in front of her. Eunji slowly obeyed when he took off her left shoes and made her foot rest on his lap. A satisfied smile appeared on his face after he put on the new shoe on her left foot. He looked up to see her reaction and was glad when she also looks happy with it.

He stood on his feel once again and grinned “Well, am I great? I know your feet size just by a glance of your shoes” 

Eunji was about to scoff at his confidence when she remembered what the staff had told her just now.

“You’re great, thank you”

“Baek, I can’t breath” Eunji mumbled against is lips. He pulled back immediately from the heated kiss and looked at her with apologizing eyes.

“Did I hurt you?” He asked worriedly, pinching her chin between his fingers to scan her swollen lips. She shook her head, pushing him lightly with her palms on his chest and backed away a little. They were supposed to watch a horror move he had chose—saying that she would hug him if she is scared—but at the end, he just pull her into another make out session where everyone was unaware of their activity. Now she knew the reason why he chose the back seats out of all seats.

Eunji laughed silently when his worried gaze was still on her “We are supposed to watch the movie, Baek”

“I know” He sighed “Sorry, I’ve always want to do these kind of....things with you”

“So you always have a ert though of me?” She teased and he tapped her nose with his index fingers for that.

“Stupid, don’t make it sound like I’m a ert”

“You’re one”

“Say that again and I wouldn’t let you breath this time” He playfully threatened but Eunji just laughed it off and stuck out her tongue at him.

“Don’t you dare bothering me, I’m not going to waste the popcorn and coke just to chat with you in cinema” She told and shifted on her seat to faced the big screen once again, ignoring him who still had his eyes on her.

He wasn’t sure if it was only him or she really looked different today. It was as if she wasn’t the Jung Eunji he used to know and annoy the past months. Does Eunji really change? If she really changed, then is it because of him? He would be very happy to know that he was reasons of her smile and laughter, because making her happy is his first priority.

He decided to wait longer to hear the magical words coming from . He won’t force but he would show her how much she is important to him.

“Eunji, I love you” He tried as his eyes gazing lovingly at her. It seemed like she was too engrossed in the movie that she didn’t even glance at him nor asked him back what he was saying. Sighing, he kissed her cheek one last time before turning to face the big screen.

Little did he know when he uttered the three words, Eunji had already stiffen on his seat. No, she’s not ready to utter those words yet.

“I don’t know you’re scared of ghost, Baekhyun-shi” She teased once they are out of the cinema. Baekhyun groaned because she kept teasing her about it. He was practically the only one who screaming and whimpering between the two. It was embarrassing, but he enjoyed the moments because at least he got to hug Eunji during the whole movie.

“You’re scared too” He grunted

“Oh, then who is the one jumping on his own seat and whined to get out of the cinema as soon as possible?” She again and he playfully ruffled her hair, which made her light brown hair messy than it was before.

He chuckled seeing her annoyed expression and helped her to fix them instead, receiving a few curse from the girl for ruining her hair. While doing so, he heard a familiar voice calling his name.

“Baekhyun, is that you?” His hands paused when he saw Xiumin and Kris walking towards his direction. Eunji was facing his chest so she didn’t know who was approaching them. When she tried to turn around, Baekhyun stopped her by her shoulder.

“H-Hyung, what are you doing here?”

“Watching movie, obviously” Kris answered and glanced at the girl he held. “Eunji, is that you?”

Hearing her name was being called, she turned around and faced the two newcomers. She slightly bowed in respect and plastered a small smile.

“Oh, you’re on a date with Eunji?” Xiumin teased and Baekhyun uneasily shifted away from her slightly. Of course Eunji noticed the little act of him. She was wondering if he didn’t want his friend to know about them. Does he embarrass of having a relationship with her?

All that thought were thrown away when he worriedly glanced at her direction. He bit her lips nervously, like he was afraid for her instead, like he was afraid that she was the one doesn’t want their relationship to be revealed yet. Knowing the situation now, she chuckled and grabbed his hand only to lace their fingers together.

Baekhyun looks surprised by the action and he was about to pull away and said something to explain the situation to the newcomers but she cut him off instead.

“We are having our first date” She answered Xiumin’s previous question that was almost left hanging.

“F—first what?” Kris’s jaw dropped and Xiumin blinked rapidly

“Both of you are dating?” The both asked in unison and Eunji nodded as Baekhyun was still in shock state.

Xiumin gaped “How...no, since when?”

“Since last night” Baekhyun gave her hand a light squeeze as he answered the question this time.

“She stayed overnight at my house yesterday, so yeah, we talked about it together” He explained, giving her a light kiss on her temple

“Damn I can’t believe this happen” Kris whispered in disbelief as he stared up and down at the new couple.

“How can you not tell this to us, you brat” Xiumin frowned in discontent.

“Sorry hyung, Eunji might want to keep it as secret” Baekhyum gave an apologetic smile.

“Anyway....” Both Xiumin and Kris looked at each other.

“Congratulation!” They cheered and both of them went to hug Baekhyun, leaving Eunji at the side in embarrassment because the people around them are watching. As their cheering passed a few seconds, Eunji couldn’t help but to smile at the sight. It was a pleasant scene to see. She wondered if her friends would have the same reaction as they did.

“Good luck on your first date, we will get going now” Xiumin excused themselves after he had patted Baekhyun’s back. Xiumin gave her a secret wink and whispered into her ear “Lucky you”

That made her blush and Baekhyun didn’t seemed to notice because he was busy waving his hands at his friends.

“Let’s go now shall we?” He heard Baekhyun spoke and that made her snapped out of her thought, mentally slapping herself to stay conscious.

“Uh...yeah”

“Thank you for today” Baekhyun spoke after he sent her in front of her door entrance. Eunji nodded absentmindedly because honestly, she didn’t want to be apart from him. After having their precious time today, she never thought of being apart from him. If she was given a chance, she wished she could stay over his house for another night.  Moreover, she didn’t tell him the magical words yet.

“I’ll see you tomorrow” He continued when he noticed that she wasn’t being responsive. It seemed like the girl was on her own world as she was staring into nothing.

“Eunji, are you okay?”

“...I’m fine...” She whispered back. It didn’t look convincing though but Eunji seemed to in the state to talk about it right now. In the end, he just let out a sigh and kissed her temple softly as he whispered the words that always made her heart flutter every time he said it.

“I love you”

That made her snapped out of her sadness and replaced by happiness. It’s amazing how these three words could make her heart flutter and her cheeks to blush.

When he turned around to reach his car, Eunji tugged the hem of his shirt slightly to get his attention.

“Yes?”

She inhaled a huge amount of air before exhaled them out calmly, staring into his eyes as she said “Listen because I’m not going to repeat myself over again, do you understand?”

He could only response by blinking his eyes because he couldn’t get what she was trying to say. However, Eunji ignore his confuse expression and leaned forward to his ear.

“I love you too”

How long had it been since I last update? I know I know 34567890 years? Yeah, I know. Tbh, this is all not my fault. I had finished this its ending but UNFORTUNATELY my laptop wants to stay for the rest of its life and I have to wait for a new laptop and UNFORTUNATELY AGAIN I didn't save the story I had finish writing in any of my device. ? Yeah. In the end (beause I'm just too frustrated about the dissapointment I have done to myself), I decided to leave this story while I think of a new story I want to write. This update is not the original one that I had wrote in my old laptop so I'm sorry if any of you're dissapointed of this update despite the waiting. I'm still so grateful to those who still didn't leave this story. Thank you also for the upvoters and those who leave comments. //bow//

I'll try to finish up this story as soon as I can. Thank you again.. ^^
