Only Exception
The queen-sized bed keeps shaking with the flips and turns of the person occupying it. She just couldn’t get the right and comfortable position to settle down. Just a while its one head under the pillow, the next second, hugging and cuddling with the other pillow. She sighed and just laid flat like a soldier, eyes staring at the blank ceiling.
“How dare you.”
“Uggggh.” She almost ripped the two edges of the cushion.
“Argggh.” Now with head flat unto the pillow she vented her anger and frustration, carefully covering his mouth to not produce so much unnecessary noise.
“You know what? You have just embarrassed yourself Tiffany Hwang.” She stared talking at the ceiling once again.
“He’s not worth it.”
What happened this afternoon clearly flashed back inside her mind. The way he just walk past her, the way he pretended she doesn’t exist, the way he completely ignored her when she’s just about to greet him a late happy birthday. She smirked, shooking her head in disbelief.
“Fine, I’ll show you how a game is played. Spoiled brat.”
She stumbled out of bed as quick as a cheetah and immediately rummage through her closet.
She laid her purse unto the ceramic table, sits herself prettily at the bartender signalling for her drink. She’s just on her beige trench coat over a blue and white striped shirt paired with skinny jeans, but her presence is really noticeable from a far. That curvy waist line, that long perfect wavy hair and that slender legs with the left one over the right. Even the way she drinks from her glass looks pretty. How unfair.
Men after men she had rejected that she lost count on the number of applicants for the night. She smiled evilly and more like disgustingly to those men who really think they can get inside her pants that easy. No way. Well I’m sorry to them, but the road to Tiffany Hwang is ain’t that easy. And for the record she’s waiting for a certain familiar face to appear and line up to her for the night.
“Tiffany?”
Bingo.
“Donghae.” He introduced.
‘I know. What took you so long’ she smiled at that familiar eyes fantasizing over her since that meeting over a week ago. Too bad Donghae, you’re way too obvious for a lady like Tiffany Hwang. She has this strong woman’s intuition. And is she isn’t mistaken, this man in front clearly wants to be one of those guys on the list.
“Yes, I remember, Hi.” She lured with her smiling eyes.
“Hi. What brings you here?” he asks also sitting himself at the empty seat beside the woman.
“Well , same reason as yours I’m sure.” She replied.
“Oh cool. I’m looking for you, does that mean you are looking for me too?” he said trying to be cocky, smirking. But, hey it sounds funny to her. How weird.
“Pfffft.”she scoffed almost spitting back the drink inside .
“You’re funny.”
“Admit it, you like that.” He also signalled for his drink.
“Hmmm..that I don’t think so..” she chuckled.
“I think we’ll get along just well.” He said out of nowhere.
So sure aren’t we?
The night ended with exchange of numbers and of course Donghae smiling from ear to ear. But what comes easy wont last. What last wont, and will never come easy.

“Okay. I think that’s it for today? Team Leader Han, anything to add?” He addressed the lady right straight across him on the long table. Unfortunately today is another addition to the days that she became invisible in his eyes. She’s ignored, neglected, not given even a glance on that total of three hours inside that conference room.
“Um, I think that’s all Sir Siwon, we’ll start for the project late next week.” the woman answered.
“Why not earlier?” he looks at Tiffany with questioning eyes. She was on the other hand taken aback by the sudden stare.
“Tiffany’s schedule doesn’t really fit, all she has for us will be later next week.” Team leader Han spoke up for her. While she is kee
