"Ahh! I'm so tired!" Jungmi fell face down onto the couch after returning from the team's kayaking trip. She felt like her skin was pricked by a thousand needles, and she could tell her skin went at least 2 times darker.

"Me too." Hyuna pushed Jungmi's leg off the sofa and sat down.

"Anyone hungry? I'm preparing instant noodles." Jimin asked and everyone nodded.

"Actually, I kind of like the beach now, you guys wanna go again after this? The weather getting cooler already. We can just sit in the water or something."

"I don't mind."

"Me too."

"How about you, Jungmi?"

Jungmi pouted a little, feeling exhausted but agreed anyway. Once Jimin poured hot water into each of the instant noodle cups, everyone took one each and they sat on the sofa together, eating their noodles.

"Thank you eomma!" Jungmi giggled a little and came up with a nickname. He had been taking care of them like a mother ever since they got here and Jungmi couldn't help but call him their mother.

"Ya! Don't call me that. It'll ruin my handsome image."

Everyone laughed and nodded in sarcasm.

"Then who’s the appa?"

"You!"

Jungmi shouted out and hi-fived Hyuna and Jimin, who burst out into laughter again as Jungkook blanked out.

"Why am I the appa?"

"Just because!"

Hyuna answered back, leaving Jungkook speechless. After they were done, they went down to the beach again. They sat together in their swimsuits on the sand, letting the waves run over their toes and flow back to the never-ending sea.

"I heard that if you picked up a perfect seashell and you make a wish, then throw it back to the sea, your wish would come true. I'm not sure if it's true though, but I've always wanted to do it." Jungkook said while staring dreamily at the sea and everyone looked at him in curiosity.

"Really? It sounds fun!" Jimin stood up to look for seashells and everyone followed him. Soon, each of them found a seashell each and thought about their wish. Jungkook was so eager, he already made his wish and threw the seashell out. He watching Jungmi, who was standing beside him, with her eyes shut and the seashell clasped in between her hands and suddenly, a funny idea struck him. He quietly walked towards the water and bent down to scoop up a handful of water.

He flung the handful of water at Jungmi and she screamed and jumped.

"JEON JUNGKOOK!"

Jungmi quickly threw her seashell out  and chased after Jeon Jungkook who was in a laughing fit as he ran as quickly as he could. As Jungmi was about to catch up with Jungkook, Jungkook suddenly turned around and lifted her up, making her scream out in shock as her feet left the ground.

"That's what you get for calling me appa!"

He ran over to the water with Jungmi struggling in his arms.

"Ya! Don’t you dare! Let me down now!"

She pelted his back with punches and before she knew, she had landed in the water with a loud splash. Jungkook laughed even harder and she quickly stood, fuming mad but still controlling not to laugh so she would look intimidating to Jungkook. Unfortunately, Jungkook only laughed harder at her angry face.

"LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!"

Jungmi yelled, catching Jungkook off-guard and she started splashing water at Jungkook.

"That wasn't fair! I wasn't ready! You're cheating!"

"If you're not cheating you're not trying!"

She lay backwards on her back in the water and started kicking her legs madly, causing all the water to the splash onto Jungkook.

"Stop! Stop! I surrender! STOP! I'm gonna freaking drown!"

She cheered at her own victory and stood up as Jungkook fell into the waist deep water.

"That's what you get for messing with me!" Jungmi pranced around in the water and jumped everywhere. As Jungkook watched her helplessly, he couldn’t help but smile and felt his heart flutter a little.

What was that?

Jungkook brushed it off lay down into the water.

"Come on! Let's go suntan! Jimin and Hyuna are there already!" Jungmi finished her happy dance and pulled at Jungkook's arm.

There it is again.

When Jungmi was trying to pull him along, he jerked her back and she slammed into his bare chest. She let out an oof and looked up him in surprise.

"You're so cute when you’re happy."

"Oh, shut up."

"Why so fierce? I was complimenting you."

"Shhhh."

Jungmi started to blush and Jungkook chuckled.

"Smile more okay? You look prettier when you smile!"

Jungkook started to drag her to the suntanning area was where Jimin and Hyuna were and Jungmi let her mind slowly process everything.
