When the team finally arrived at the hotel, the students stepped out in awe as they gazed at the three-storey high building. Its exterior was painted a dark brown colour and was well-lit up with orange lights, making it stand out among the other surrounding buildings despite it not being very tall. It looked small but well-maintained.

"No wonder the accommodation was kinda expensive. Luckily the school had part of it subsidized."

Jungmi looked at Hyuna, whose eyes were still looking at the hotel, and nodded.

When the team assembled in the spacious lobby, they were especially quiet as the checked out their surroundings. The interior was also painted dark brown and had a very high ceiling. There were also two pool tables in the mini bar located beside the customer service centre. Beside the bar, there were two glass doors leading to the big pool and suntanning area. There were about 20 of those deck chairs placed around the side of the pool with a few lockers and another area where they put towels for people to use once they were done swimming. When Jungmi walked towards the door to get a closer look, her jaw dropped as she saw that there was another mini bar located in the pool. Were the drinks at the bar free? The seats were underwater and there were two bartenders dressed casually, preparing drinks for a half man who was sitting at one of the seats. Wow.

"It's beautiful isn't it?"

She gasped at the voice and swirled to her left. Jungkook was standing there with his two palms pressed against the glass door as he looked around the pool area. He turned towards her and smiled.

"Me and Jimin would probably go swimming later during the free time. You and Hyuna in?"

Her eyes stared at Jungkook innocently with a confused look on her face.

"Free time?"

Jungkook chuckled at her expression and replied, "Yeah, check the schedule. We have free time until 9pm. Then we have to report back here for the debrief. Then lights off at 11."

She checked her phone and nodded.

"I think we'll join you guys. But the weather seems pretty bad."

The clouds in the sky were a little dark.

"Let's just hope it doesn't rain. But yay anyways!"

They laughed and chatted a bit more on the way back to the lobby area. Despite being nervous, Jungmi managed not to stutter and returned back to her luggage beside Hyuna.

"Oh my god. Did Jungkook just talk to you?"

Jungmi broke into a smile and half-whispered half-screamed, "Yes! And I didn't stutter!"

Hyuna's eyes reflected Jungmi's excitement as she put her arm around Jungmi and said, "I'm proud of you, baby."

They burst into laughter as Miss Kim returned to the team after checking into the hotel at the counter.

"Students, listen up! Here are your room cards and all of you will be occupying rooms 1075 to 1081 on the first floor while the teachers will be in 3021 on the second floor. Each room has two cards and please do not lose them. After collecting your cards, you can go to your rooms and have your free time until 9pm. You will all then assemble back here promptly for your debrief. First group?"

Sunmi stood up from the couch and strutted towards the teacher, grabbing the cards without even thanking Miss Kim. On the way back, she winked at Jungkook and Miss Kim shook her head hopelessly. Jungkook sighed exasperately and hid himself behind Jimin, Hyuna and Jungmi. After waiting for everyone to collect their keys, they walked towards the lift lobby. As they were walking towards their room, Jungmi was worried about the silence but fortunately, someone broke the silence. This time, it was Jungkook.

"So once we go up, we check out the room, prepare our things and go for a swim downstairs? If it doesn't rain, of course."

Jungmi and Hyuna nodded while Jimin punched his fist up in the air.

"Yeah! Swimming!"

"Are the drinks at the bar free?"

Jungmi covered as she accidentally blurted out the question that was stuck in her mind for so long.

"Yeah, they are."

Jungkook chuckled and replied.

She nodded in understanding and made a silent promise to herself that she had to try ordering a drink. Hyuna just stared at her and wondered how she could be so cute even when she was panicking.

When they arrived outside their room, Jungmi realised that it was a corner room, located at the end of the common corridor. As she waited for Jimin to open the door, she also realised that there was a short flight of staircase just beside the room which led to the swimming pool. She entered the room and formed an 'o' shape. This hotel was definitely worth all the money. The doorway leading to the living room was wide and there was a full-length mirror opposite a door on the right that Jungmi guessed was the bathroom. Even though Jimin was busy arranging the luggages along the side of the doorway, Jungmi thought that someone could even do a backflip and not touch the walls at the side. First, Jungmi entered the bathroom. Her eyes widened how shiny and clean the bathroom was, not to mention, there was a long bathtub to the left of the door. She also realised that there was only a piece of glass seperating  the bathroom and the living room, which meant that anyone in the living room would see her in the bathroom. Of course, there was a blind that could be pulled down. Amazed, she waved at Hyuna who lay face-down on the couch in the living room even though Hyuna couldn't see Jungmi waving at her. Instead, Jungkook coincidentally entered the living room and waved back at her even though he knew Jungmi wasn't waving at him. Jungmi raised an eyebrow but couldn't stop a smile from making its way across her face. To the right of the door, there was the basin, the toilet bowl and there was another shower room made of glass too. Again, there was a curtain that could be pulled out. After that, she exited the bathroom and went to the living room. She didn't see Hyuna but she peeped through the door leading to the bedroom and saw her face-down on one of the beds again. The four surrounding walls were painted brown and she plopped down on the couch that Hyuna was lying on previously. She saw a long, glass, coffee table within kicking distance and straight in front was a 32-inch TV. Beside the TV, there was a small wooden cupboard. She walked over to the cupboard and opened it. She was shocked to find a mini fridge in the bottom compartment and in the top compartment, there were coffee packets, milo packet and some other snacks and potato chips. She closed the cupboard and saw four glass bottles of water on top of it. As she pushed open the door beside the TV, she found herself in the bedroom.

There were four beds, but each pair or beds were pushed together so it seemed like one single queen sized bed. She realised that there was a sliding glass door beside one of the 'queen sized beds' and she saw Jungkook's silhouette out there. She pushed away the curtains and he swirled around, gesturing for her to join her outside on the balcony. Hesitantly, she slid open the door and stepped out onto the cold marble flooring on the balcony. There was another small round coffee table and there were two brown bamboo chairs. She stood beside Jungkook and felt her heart rate speed up.

"I like this place a lot and we haven't even been here for an hour."

"Me too."

She took the chance to observe Jungkook as he closed his eyes, enjoying the breeze. She let her eyes trail down his face from his long eyelashes to his soft, pinkish lips, his sharp jawline..

"You haven't changed yet?"

She jumped and snapped back from wonderland on Jungkook's face.

"Y-Yeah. I think I'll go in first."

"Sure."

Jungmi made her way back to the living room where Jimin decided to shift the luggages to. Jimin was lying down on the couch and when he saw her come in, he commented, "Damn. I wished this was my home."

Laughing at how innocent Jimin was, Jungmi opened up her luggage, and pulled out the only swimsuit she brought, a zebra-striped bikini. She then decided on an oversized blue cotton tee and saw that the blinds were pulled down in the bathroom.

Hyuna must be inside.

Knocking on the door, she heard mumbling before Hyuna opened up the door, wearing almost the same outfit as Jungmi had decided on, only her shirt was yellow. Hyuna pulled her in, whispering, "I still can't believe we get to live in the same room!"

"You mean you and me, or you and Jimin?"

Hyuna rolled her eyes and replied, "Oh you just had to make me choose. I'm glad to stay with you but I'm sure you know who I'm referring to."

Jungmi laughed and apologized.

"I can't believe I'm staying with him either."

As Jungmi brought up the topic of Jungkook, she suddenly remembered the incident that happened on the bus and spat it all out to Hyuna. When Hyuna heard the whole story, they fangirled together for awhile before Hyuna's face abruptly became dark.

"Jungmi, not to be a wet blanket but you do know that Sunmi would probably find trouble for you right?"

Jungmi considered that and nodded slowly, frowning.

"It's ok. I'll watch out."

"Why are you girls taking so long?"

Jungmi and Hyuna heard Jimin shouting from the living room and Hyuna shouted back, "We're almost done!" Jungmi quickly changed and Hyuna put on her sunblock. They walked out of the bathroom and when Jimin saw them, he couldn't help but say, "You girls look cute! But I like yellow better." He winked at Hyuna and Hyuna smiled shyly, staring down at her toes.

After the boys finished changing, they walked out to the pool and Jungmi saw that there was a restaurant just beside the pool. The air was cooling and all four of them quickly took of their t-shirts, eager to get into the water. When Jungkook took off his shirt, Jungmi tried not to but inevitably, her eyes landed on his abs and widened. They were so toned and firm and she immediately felt her face burn. She quickly looked away but Jungkook caught her staring and couldn't help but feel more confident than ever as he smirked to himself. It was the same for Hyuna when she saw Jimin's abs. To be invited to swimming by these two boys, they definitely were more than honoured.

After swimming for about half an hour, Jungmi decided to try out the drinks at the bar, she ordered a glass of watermelon juice and Hyuna came along, sitting on the empty seat beside Jungmi.

"This bar is like the coolest. I wish my house had a bar like this."

"You just said the same thing Jimin said when he was in the hotel room."

"Oh my gosh! What?!"

Jungmi couldn't help but laugh at her friend fangirling away at how 'fated' she and Jimin were. Then, Jungkook and Jimin came over. Jungkook took the other seat beside Jungmi while Jimin took the one beside Hyuna.

"What are you girls fangirling about?"

Jimin asked curiously and Hyuna shook her head profusely.

"It's nothing! I swear it's nothing!"

"Well I never doubted you."

Hyuna blushed in embarrassment and Jungmi looked at her then at the water surrounding them. Luckily, Hyuna got the message.

"I'll go swim while waiting for the drinks to be served."

With that, she slid into the water and in a flash, she was far away on the other side of the pool. Smiling, Jungmi thanked the bartender as he served her the drink. Upon seeing the watermelon juice, Jimin and Jungkook decided to order one glass each too and soon, Hyuna returned to her seat with her face back to its usual colour. As the four of them sipped their drinks, Jungmi was trying her best no to stare Jungkook's toned chest and focused her attention on her drink even when they were talking. What she didn't know was that Jungkook was trying his best not to stare at her cleavage too. After awhile more, the continued to chat about what they were going to do for the next few days and the atmosphere around them became more relaxed and less awkward. Jungmi was grateful for that. Everything was perfect or at least, normal to Jungmi until the other bartender (not the one who served them drinks) noticed her and thought to himself, "What a pretty one."

He walked over to her and put one arm on the marble table swiftly and leaned towards Jungmi, "Hey pretty, you want another drink?" Surprised, she realised that she had finished her watermelon juice and was feeling bloated. Instead, she greeted him back and turned down his offer politely as she pinked slightly. She had to admit, the bartender was kind of hot. He had a pair of sunglasses which he took off as he spoke to her. Her eyes trailed down to his defined nose, full lips and sharp jawline. She even thought he could be a Calvin Klein model considering his muscular body.

The bartender kept trying to start a conversation with Jungmi, so much that she thought he was harassing her a little. She tried to be as polite as she could but on the other hand, Jungkook was bursting with anger as the bartender had interrupted him as he was talking to Jungmi.

"Excuse me, can you clear the empty glass here?"

The bartender turned to Jungkook and Jungkook saw the fire in the bartender's eyes for a moment before he smiled sarcastically and took the empty glass away. Sighing, Jungkook grabbed Jungmi's wrist and pulled her to the other side of the pool with him. Understanding the situation, Jimin and Hyuna stayed in their seats and away from the other two.

"Jungmi. Don't talk to that bartender. He's just trying to take advantage of your innocence so don't talk to him anymore. Besides, you already have me to talk to, so don't talk to him."

Jungkook grabbed Jungmi's shoulders, forcing her to look at him as he spoke. Confused and stunned, Jungmi merely nodded with rounded eyes. Upon seeing that he got his message across, Jungkook let go of her and smiled.

"You know, you're really cute when you’re confused. I like it. Maybe I should just confuse you more on purpose sometimes."

Jungmi opened to protest but Jungkook interrupted her.

"I'm just kidding, but not about the cute part though."

Chuckling, he patted the top of her head affectionately and told her he was going to dry up.  Taken aback, Jungmi stayed rooted in the swimming pool for her mind to process. 

Seeing Jungkook exit the pool, Jimin and Hyuna followed behind to grab a towel. When Jungmi tried to climb out of the pool, she was still feeling light-headed from Jungkook's previous actions and when she tried to heave herself out of the pool, she lost her footing and slipped off, causing her  left knee to knock against the edge of the pool. She yelped out in pain but managed to pull herself out and sat at the side of the pool, pulling up her left knee to inspect the injury. As Jungkook was drying himself near the deck chairs, he ran over to her upon hearing her yelp and kneeled down beside her, the towel still around his neck and the water droplets dripping from the ends of his fringes. He looked worried and panicky.

"You ok?"

"Yeah. I just uh.. slipped."

"Can you walk?"

"I-I think so."

Jungmi pushed herself off the ground, putting all the pressure on her right leg. Jungkook stood up and made way for her, watching her intently in case she fell. When she tried to limp on her left leg, her knee gave way but fortunately, Jungkook rushed forward and caught her, causing his towel to slip off his neck. He guided her to the nearest deckchair where their belongings were placed and pushed them away as she sat down heavily. She stretched her left leg out and Jungkook kneeled down beside her.

"Do you mind?" His hands hovered over the injured area as he looked up at her.

Jungmi shook her head and Jungkook wrapped his hands around her knee, where the blue-black was starting to appear and used his thumbs to massage the area in small circles. His touch sent goosebumps throughout her skin and she couldn't help but blush. Jungkook observed quietly as she shook her head and rubbed her hands together nervously, staring at the ground and he recalled the conversation he had with his friends at the airport.

"Dude we're gonna get paired up with girls!" Namjoon was so excited.

"Well someone's really eager." Jin said, raising his eyebrows at Namjoon.

"Jungkook, who do you wanna get paired with?"

"Lee Jungmi." He said as he watched Jungmi mouthing something to Hyuna, making Hyuna's face redden.

"Woah, not Sunmi?"

"No way. Never in a million years. I'd rather be gay if she was the only girl in the world."

"Well, I think Jungmi's cute."

"And innocent."

"Perfect to play with." Jungkook laughed as his friends stared at him in shock.

"What?"

"Dude, you have to stop playing with the girls' hearts. It's not doing you or them any good. Plus haven't you already had enough? Last time in middle school, you played with like at least 10 girls already." Jimin had mini-lectured him, considering they were from the same middle school.

"Maybe. Or maybe not."

His friends laughed and he chuckled a little too loudly. When he looked at Jungmi again, they made eye contact and he quickly looked away. Making Jungmi his target, he thought about how he was going to draw her in. Maybe he could use the method that he was most confident of, being the nice guy. That was something he could do really well, because his friends had said before that his playboy attitude didn't match his face.

"Jungkook? Jungkook! The pain is gone already. Hello?"

Jungmi waved her hand in front of Jungkook's face and he snapped back into reality.

"Sorry, I was distracted." He laughed, embarrassed, then standing up and grabbing his towel.

"I could tell." They laughed again and Jungmi thanked him, before grabbing a towel for herself. Then, she saw Jimin and Hyuna walking towards her direction from the small garden that she hadn't realised was there before. They were talking and laughing, making Jungmi feel bad for interrupting but she asked, "Where have you guys been?"

They stopped talking and Jimin spoke, "Oh, we saw you and Jungkook having some private moments so we decided not to interrupt." Hyuna burst into laughter, making Jimin laugh too. Hyuna's laughter could be very contagious. Jungmi blushed slightly and scolded Jimin lightly before returning to the swimming pool. Then, a few raindrops started to fall and they wrapped their towels around themselves, picked up their belongings and rushed back into their room.

And I was finally able to write a longer chapter yay, but that's because I spent like a few minutes everyday writing :D
