"BAE TAEKRYONG."
Travis shot up onto his bed, pillow in hand and his trusty lyric writing pencil in the other, posing as if holding shield and sword. "Woooaahh looks like we have a brand new challenger for Knight Beck today! An ugly green Japanese snow lady!"
"Bae Taekryong you are dead. Dead. Deader than whatever rock I'm gonna dig up to kill you with, dead!!"
Travis swiftly ducked, yelling as he almost had his head taken off by a hair dryer. "Yikes! Hey wait don't be that serious about it! I was only kidding about the ugly part, the green hair looks grea-- OW."
A loud thud and Travis's arse kissed the floor quite nicely, while he rubbed his head from the bruise he was sure he was going to get after that mug hit him in the cheekbone. Groaning, the younger male peeked over the bed at a fuming Yuki in a slightly green-dyed bath towel. In the end, he couldn't help but break down into laughter at the sight. His best friend soaked to the bone, soap suds all over and green streaked water running across her skin -- the best part was that the green streaks in her hair were certainly permanent.
"Dead. Deader than dead this time. Your stupid pranks have gone too far!"
"Hey, this was your fault! You got me yelled out that night with the stupid phone trick!" And Travis ducked again before Yuki's pillow could kiss his face. "I swear the green looks great anyway!!"
Yuki could only count Travis as lucky as some of the other young adults staying in the hostel quickly warned her of a manager coming around. She ducked into the bathroom again, and growled irritably, glancing at the mirror. Her lovely blue and blonde hair was now accompanied by streaks of green, strewn in randomly and looking like a complete mess with the soap suds still bubbling.
"That god forsaken dongsaeng, I don't know why I even bother being friends with him." She grumbled, holding her towel up as she accessed the damages. She had plans to re-dye her hair recently, so at least the predicament wasn't entirely horrible.
And maybe Travis was right, the green went pretty well with the blue to be completely honest. At least Travis had enough sense to pick a nice shade.
She huffed and rolled her eyes a little, before picking through her small bag of bathroom essentials. She blinked a few times in confusion though, and slowly pulled out a shiny, metallic gold bottle of dye. On the bottle in Travis' chicken scratch, was a small note.
"Blue + Green + Gold = Peacock Streaks. So you shouldn't hit me when you come out of the shower, okay?"
Yuki blinked twice before scoffing. "I'd hit you anyway you stupid dongsaeng. This isn't the proper way of dying hair." Though she grumbled, she set down the bottle and then pulled out her extra shampoo to clean out her hair and finish her shower.
She was at least consoled with the amusing sounds from outside the bathroom, of a flustered saeng trying to explain his bruise, the green puddles and a broken hair dryer.
a/n :: So actually one of the problems I had with writing my next chapter was actually incorporating what I put in at the end of the last one and then moving on with the plan I had in mind, without doing a ridiculous event skip. Since I haven't updated in forever, I finally decided to screw scratching my head over the conflict and just throw in omake chapters like this haha. Basically these will be little scenes outside the actual plotline of the story that add a little extra. They'll be random, but will work chronologically with the storyline, and I will do these as I please or whenever necessary. I might move the teasers too, and rename them into omake chapters.
Since I've finally found a way to connect the two chapters, expect chapter four up soon! I'd like to apologize for taking so long and for the crappy, comedic, crack-like update OTL Forgive meee.. I swear I actually have a plan for this story x wx! And I'd like to think it's pretty well thought out.. Let's hope no more real life and flow blocks happen.
