Minji’s POV

The entire room got quiet when key stood up and pushed Taemin away from me,

“What are you doing?” Key yelled At Taemin,

I flinched at his loud booming voice; I haven’t seen him this mad, not even when his dad hit him.

Taemin just stood there staring at me, I felt my insides turn and twist.

“Stop making her confused, you already have Sulli” he yelled again.

“Just leave her alone” he added

“Can you SHUT UP” he yelled back, making me open my mouth in shock.

“Why do you care who I like, why do you care who I kiss, why do you care”

He stormed out the room; Sulli looked at me and Key and quickly ran after him.

I couldn’t properly see due to tears filling my eyes, I quickly left the room and went the opposite direction. I clutched my chest that was panging with pain. I couldn’t stop my tears,

Why was I crying? He didn’t even hit me.

“Don’t cry” I heard a voice come from behind

I turned to see Key, his voice was trembling.

“I’m trying” I said in between hiccups.

He held my hand that was by my side making me stop abruptly.

“I don’t like the Minji that cries”

“Where’s my strong Minji?” he asked squeezing my hand,

I slowly let go of his hand, and wiped away my tears,

“Don’t worry” I said softly.

“I always thought you were super women, you never cried”

“I‘d wonder the day she cries, what the reason would be, or who”

I bit the insides of my cheeks,

Taemin's POV

“Stop walking so fast” Sulli said panting when I finally stopped walking.

“Oppa, what’s wrong?” she asked when it got too quiet; I was leaning back on my car just staring out in space.

“Why do you like me?” I asked, making her turn around and face me.

She seemed shocked to suddenly be asked this,

“You’re so sweet; you always have a smile on your face”

“You’re really funny”

“You love drinking orange juice”

I chuckled,

“What’s funny?” she asked smiling slightly

She only drinks orange juice

“Nothing” I mumbled.

I turn to face her,

“You know oppa, I’m getting tired following you around like a puppy” she said looking at her nails.

“Wha-a-t” I looked at her stunned,

“Don’t say that”

“So, do you like, like me then?” she asked

“I really used to-

“Exactly, I know you used to, but do you now?” she asked again

I slowly shook my head,

“It’s okay, I knew it before hand” she sighed,

I bit my lower lip, I felt horrible.

“I’m sorry”

“Don’t be, really” she said softly smiling.

“But, I had a favor” she said looking down,

“Ask away” I said

“Since the dance is next week, and I thought you’d be my date-“ Even before she had a chance to finish I replied,

“Of course, I’ll be your shining knight” I said making chuckle.

“Thanks oppa” she said,

“I kind of, have to get going, I left the party” she said pointing to her house,

I mentally slapped myself.

“Sorry” I said and bid her goodbye,

I ran my hand through my hair and let out a sigh,

I touched my lip, it smelled like strawberries.

“Wait, I kissed someone?”
