= 3 hours later =

I walked in back to the house after seeing my hyungs out. The house was dead silent, All the maids left and my parents were gone!

I quickly smiled and ran up to Minji's room. 

I knocked the door and waited patiently

"It's me Taemin" I said cheerfully

"Come in" She said and I opened the door, she was on the bed reading a book under her covers

"Who knew you read books" I joked and sat on the other side of the bed

"You can sit on the floor" she said and pointed to the beanie bag by the door

"That looks more comfy anyway" I said and sat down ..

"What are you reading?" I asked

"A book" 

"What's it called?"

"None of your business”

"Nice title"

She looked over and put the book down.

"Are you here to bother me?" She asked titling her head

"Were neighbors, we need to become close friends" I said smiling 

"I swear your something else Taemin" she said getting off the bed and putting the book back in the bookshelf

She was wearing shorts and scars filled her legs. They didn't look like I-fell-off-a-bike scar, but more like from fights.

I decided to not mention it and I remembered our conversation from a couple of days ago.

She doesn't have neither her parents, She must be lonely, I caught myself starring at her go about the room and arranging her clothes and hanging some in the closet. I noticed she had just a handful.

"If your going to just sit there and give me puppy eyes, You can leave" she said 

"I - I wasn’t doing anything" I said taken by surprise

"Well I’m going to sleep, need to wake up early tomorrow" she said and got into her bed

I pouted

What am I going to do now?, I thought

I left the room and closed the door, I decided to wash up and get into my PJ's, and got on my bed.
 

I'm not even sleepy,

I looked over at the walkie-talkie on my bed

I smiled to my self


Minzy's POV


Minji-ahh, I know your not asleep yet

What the hell was that? , I looked over at the table and saw the walkie-talkie

Shut up TaeminI said grunting 

YOUR AWAKE!! 

I put the device away from ear and closed my eyes

Next time don't try to kill my eardrums

Sorry! I just can't sleep

Well why you are telling me, I'm not your nanny

But....

Say it

The old maid usually brings me ice-cream before I sleep

You have got to be kidding me

Taemin, I said trying with all my might not to scream

Yes

Go to sleep, before I come over and you won't be able to sleep anymore

I smirked to myself and put the device on the nightstand and tried going back to sleep

- 3 minutes later -

Minji-ah! You awake stillI heard him whisper

what do you want now? I asked

Want to watch a movie together?, I'll make popcorn

TAEMINNNNNN!

By now I was wide awake and couldn't fall asleep, I decided to go down and get a drink of water

Me and Taemin meet at the steps of the stairs

"What are you doing here Minji??" He asked

"I'm here to kill you I said" making a fake fist

He laughed and quickly went down the stairs

I shook my head and made my way to the kitchen

"Want ice-cream" he asked showing me a cartoon of vanilla ice-cream

"Sure" I said and got a bottled water from fridge

"Come on!" Taemin said grabbing my hands

"Yaaaaa" I shouted 

He dragged me to a small room which contained a flat screen T.V and a long couch on the other side.

"Ready for our movie night" he said

I punched his arm and sat down on the couch

"So we have thee choices" he said laying out three movies

1 : The Notebook 

2: Avatar

3: Mr. & Mrs. Smith

"Have you watched any of them?" He asked reading the back of "Avatar"

"Nop" I said picking up "The Notebook"

"That movie is my all time favorite!!!" He said jumping up and down making me stare at him

"This is all mushy-gushy" I said rolling my eyes

"That doesn't matter! It's a beautiful love story"

"Love is crap" I said eating my ice-cream

He gasped, 

"Don't say that! Are you saying you don't believe in love" he said leaning in closer

"Uh! Noop! Love is nothing but something humans want so they don't grow old alone, Falling in love is superficial" 

"You know this is the first time you've talked this much, I'm proud of you" He said smiling and giving a thumps up

"But that doesn't mean I agree to your opinion" he said doing a thumps down sign

"I don't need your approval" 

"But, just loving your pare- I mean " 

I saw the hesitant in his eyes, he didn't want to mention parents because he didn't want me to get hurt or remember the memories

There isn't anything to remember, My heart is immune to pain that it doesn't show anymore.

I had to drift the topic away,

"So, Who's Suli?"

He froze

"How do you know her?" He said facing me with his eyes 3x bigger

I grinned

"We had class together, she said she thinks you’re really annoying"

"Really?" He said his eyes had a trace of worry

"Uh-, I was kidding! Do you really like her??" I said

"I guess it’s a crush! She is really pretty and has an amazing smile, always bubbly! Like me" he said smiling foolishly to himself

"So you love her?" I asked

"Whoa! Love is a big word, not yet, I guess" He said scratching the back of his head

"Well your love life is already complicated at this age" I said rolling my eyes gaining a laugh from him

"Your care-free, that's a awesome trait" He said putting the movie in

"Your lucky tomorrow is Saturday! We can sleep in" he said and laid back on the coach

But I have to wake up early?.I bit my lip 

I looked over at him opening the popcorn bag and pouring it in a bowl, his smile so wide... So happy!

Maybe I'll just stay and watch it , I thought,

"Pass the popcorn" I said

"Where's my banana milk?" He said giving me a mean look

"YAA, DO I LOOK LIKE YOUR NANNY"
