Taemin’s POV

Class ends and I leave as quickly as possible, I don’t feel like eating lunch and go outside and sit under a tree, I see people pass by all laughing and talking about the upcoming dance.

I feel this pain in my chest, I never felt this before. I close my eyes and all the pictures of me and Sulli going to the dance appeared. I frowned

Why am I still thinking about you, even after you hurt me like this?

 “What’s up” I hear someone say

I turn around and see Minjj walking towards me with her bag

I smile and she sits besides me.

“Hey” I said not looking at her

“You okay” she asks and I turn to face her,

“Yeah, why wouldn’t I be” I say and smile again

“Because that smile is fake”

My smile fads, I could have fooled anyone with my smile but with her, she sees right through me.

“Why were you late for class?”

“It took a long time”

“You’re  never late” she says

I put my head down and let out a loud sigh

“I met Sulli along the way”

“Oh great! Isn’t she your dream girl?”

“No, uh-h, I don’t know”

Minzy's POV

“Did you by any chance ask her to the dance...”

“No, I just overheard her talk to her friends about me, She doesn’t see me as boyfriend material Minjj” he says now facing me and tears in his eyes.

This wasn’t the first time I seen his tears, but this sure was the first time I’ve seen him teary because of a girl.

“What did she say” I ask knowing I’m pushing his buttons

“She-e, Thinks I’m too much of a pretty boy, and  ... and that I’m too nice to everyone, does that even make sense to you. She said she wants a bad boy!?  I’ve been taught to treat every girl with the upmost respect their worth, and now I’m being used that against me!” his face now was filled with tears and a runny nose.

I don’t know what to say, I feel disgusted that someone would want a bad guy? I suddenly remember my boyfri- I mean ex-boyfirned.  The one that hurt me, that one that left me when I needed him the most.

“Don’t listen to that bull Taemin, You’re amazing the way you are, it sounded like to me she was just praising you, not talking bad about you”

He nodded along and wiped his snout on his shirt.

Gross.

“You know, you shouldn’t let that stop you from gaining her heart” I say

“What do you mean” he looks at me with his blue eyes glistening,  Gosh you’re so pure

“You still like her right?”

He nodded slightly

“You want her to know your not bad boyfriend material right?”

He nods again

“And you want her to know that being the nice sweet guy is the best kind of guy right?”

He nods again with more passion

“We’ll make her beg at your knees she had the chance to be your girlfriend”

He arches his brows,

I sigh

“I mean like, we’ll make her regret talking bad about you”

He smiles this time, making me grin

“So you’re going to help me win over her heart?” he asks

“I’ll be helping you, but not like falling in love or whatever” I say

“You just don’t want to admit it” he says laughing

 “Will it work in time for the dance?” he asks

“The one this month?” I ask

“Yes ma’am”

“If you cooperate with me, you and she will be walking side by side through the doors” I say making him laugh and wipe his tear stains

“The bell rang, let’s go” he says

We get up and walk to our lockers

“Do you know how to flirt?” I ask

“Like what Jonghyun does?”

“Kind of”

“Like do you know how to spit game?”

“Why would I spit?” he asks more confused then before

“If a girl smiles and winks at you what does that mean?”

“She is being friendly, and for the winking part, maybe her eyes twitches”

I stare at him in awe

“When you wink at me, do you have eye problems?” I ask

He thinks,

“No, I wink to joke around because were friends, but why would a complete stranger wink at me?

I put my hand to my face and sigh out loud

You’re hopeless..
