“Actually, yes. Anyway, you bruised me. I wouldn’t want to be your punching bag.” He whispered into her ear playfully, making her shiver.

“Where?” She asked.

“Turn around & see it for yourself.” He laughed softly & gave her a funny frown. She turned around but didn’t look at him. She looked down at the floor instead.

“Sweetie, here, the floor isn’t bruised by you.” Jaejoong teased again, & took a tiny grip on her chin & forced her to look at him.

“Where?” She asked, looking into his eyes stubbornly, not wanting to look at his bruise. She’s afraid that if she looked at it, she might feel sorry for what she did & simply bursts into tears while apologizing to him. She simply can’t let these things happen, could she?

“Here.” He grinned devilishly & reached out for her hand gently, warming her trembling hand with his warm one & placed it on his chest, allowing her to feel his heart beat.

“Here?”

“Yes, here.”

“This is your heart.” She mumbled, blushing while he grinned victoriously.

“Geez, Fany, here, not my heart. Well, even if my heart is bruised, it’s deep inside so you’ll have to operate me to see my heart.” He laughed impishly.

“Oh, here.” Tiffany said embarrassedly, & pretended to examine the blue spot on his chest.

“Yes, there.”

“That’s why you’re half here in the kitchen?” She asked, while pulling away, much to his surprises.

“I’m not wearing any shirt because it’s quite warm in the kitchen.” He , on purpose.

“I told you to wear the apron when you’re…”

“Nah, it’s alright. I’m just boiling the eggs, nothing more.” He laughed while she pulled away from him & sat down on the kitchen chair tiredly.

“You’re that hungry?” She sighed.

“Quite hungry.”

“There are instant noodles in the cabinet, you don’t have to eat eggs.”

“Fany, shame on you.”

“Huh?”

“Shame on you. Instant noodles isn’t a healthy thing to be eaten in the middle of the night & you should know that, right, Dr. Hwang?” He glared at her, giving her a playful scolding look.

“Oh please, you don’t have to be healthy all the time.” She pouted.
