Chapter 26

“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.” He said again. Her face flushed & her lips develop into a pouting.

“I don’t want to hear you apologizes.” She said sadly.

“Fine, I won’t apologize then, honey, look, I wasn’t…” He started but she interrupted him.

“Tell me, you hate me, don’t you?”

“No, I love you & I will always love you, look, take me as an idiot, a dense guy & a jerk but never say that I hate you, I love you with all of my heart, believe me, I promise, I love you, you can!”

“That’s plain insincere pledge, you wanted to avoid me.” She said. He sighed & hugged her close but this time, she didn’t squirm but went limp in his arms. He can feel droplets of tears on his shoulder as he can feel her suffering.

“Avoid, I don’t deny that but its because I’m afraid I’ll make love to you.” He whispered.

“Why?”

“Because I love you.” He said.

“Sleeping together doesn’t mean you have to bed me! It’s not like I want to make love to you just yet!” She cried out exasperatedly in a very comical way.

“That’s good.” He sighed & smiled but pulled away from her & gave her a solemn, yet teasing look.
