Chapter 5
Said You Love Me But You LiedHome was a place where she'd feel accepted and loved. It was a place where her mistakes and flaws were part of perfection. It was, it is, and will always be. Home is the only place were people would admit and forgive you even if you had let them down.
Yoona breathed heavily. Her thoughts about being home surged up and it felt nice. It's good to be back.
For the past few days, she had been busy relaxing. She reconciled with her family happily, and they'd even celebrated her return. Everything went smooth for a while, and she thought of it as a blessing because she'd never really been off her work. The irony was that Yoona never expected that she'd actually feel so stress-free. For now, she savoured the delight she'd been receiving, knowing that it won't last.
"This is her?" The brown-haired guy asked his friend as he raised a newspaper which showed a picture of an obviously high-class innocent model at the airport. Without even looking, his friend confirmed it. "Yeah." He answered bluntly. "I've never expected it." He answered back, trying to hide the amusement in his voice as he stared at the model's photo once again.
The news about the international model spotted on the airport had been a hot issue for days now. Even the TV News Broadcast had it in their news list, and the rumor about her purpose in Korea had risen up on the social medias.
Somehow, after seeing somebody he used to know on the newspaper, Kim Jongin found himself dumfounded. He didn't expect he wouldn't know what to do, especially that they were fated to meet once again.
**Sorry it's a short chapter. I've been really busy with school stuff. I'll do better next time.
