Chapter 19

She hasn’t awake yet

Yeah… I’ve been sitting by her side for 3 hours now

And she hasn’t awake yet…

I can’t believe what I’m seeing right now… all that medical stuff covering her body, her pale face with no expression, her cold hands that I can’t let go just for a sec…

So this is what she’s been through… this all pain of suffering to live for months and I just realized it now and I can’t do anything for her

“You should rest Kyuhyun-ah, I bet you have schedules tomorrow right?” suddenly mom is right behind me

“I think I’m gonna stay little bit more eomma, and schedules can be re-scheduled, I’ll call my manager”

“Andwae! You have to do your schedules and rest now, I’ll be here waiting for her” mom said

“Alright… fine… just let me stay here for couple of minutes…”

Mom sighed and then leave the room

“Ya Siena! Why you never told me about this?! Why you suddenly become like this?! Why must now…”

“So this is it? This is what you’ve been hiding from me for months?? And after I know what it is you just gonna go? Without even saying goodbye… you… you’re a liar…!! But I don’t know why I like such a liar like you…”

“Yeah me neither, I don’t know why I like such a bastard like you…” wait… who’s voice was that?

I looked up to her face and… “You’re awake??? Jinjja???”

“Ugh… what are this all things connecting to my body……”

“You’re awake!!! I’ll tell mom…”

“Wait! Don’t! I just need to feel some fresh air before I…” she stopped

“Don’t say things like that” I stopped her

“Haha… it’s still going to happen so…” She smiled, and I know that was a fake smile

“There are still possibilities!” I reminded her

“But I’m tired being alive… I just want to go and see my mom up there, can you just let me go happily?”

“I can’t! And I won’t! I believe you’ll be safe… and please think the same way…” I held her hand tightly

“Can I ask you a favor?” she suddenly asked

“What?”

“If I left. Please don’t cry about me okay? Just smile like nothing happened and go find a better woman to take care of you okay?”

“What?! No! you can’t do this to me Siena-ah!”

 She just smile and close her eyes… will I be able to see your eyes open again?

I can’t do this anymore. I can’t see your face for another second when I know that it might be the last time I saw your face… why you have to do this to me ChoKyuhyun?! Why can’t you understand my feeling? Do you know how many times I asked God to give me more power to stay alive and be with you?!

I felt my forehead being kissed… and out of nowhere my tear just fell…

Is this what I meant to be? Being like this? Knowing that I’ll die anyway? And watch people whom I love leaving me? Or later I’ll be the one who left away…

I heard footsteps leaving the room. Is he leaving? Why is he leaving??

“Siena-ah, Kyuhyun has schedules to do. You should wake up soon okay?” I heard auntie whispering

I thought you’ll be here for me you bastard…

But I think I guessed the wrong thing. Cho Kyuhyun still Cho Kyuhyun

You didn’t change at all Kyuhyun-ah

So now there’s no reason for me to stay alive. I hate you Cho Kyuhyun

I feel like my bed is moving… where am I going?

I tried to open my eyes little bit… It was a dark room where more than five people using mask looking at me. One people smiled at me and inject something to my skin… And after that? My eyes are so heavy until I can’t stand to open it anymore.

I ran to Siena’s room but she wasn’t there. I started to panic and decided to call mom

“Mom, where’s Siena?? Why she’s not in her room??”

“Kyuhyun-ah, Siena was coma again when you left, she suddenly didn’t breath….” I can hear mom is crying

“And doctor decided to do surgery today or never… mom is now in front of surgery room…” I directly ran to the surgery room where I can find mom sitting desperately. Her eyes are swollen and her hands are shaking

“Mom… it’s all gonna be alright…” I tried to calm her

“You didn’t see what happened! Just after you left she was like… already died… and you don’t know how I worried about her… and.. and  she was alright when you’re here! Why so… suddenly she became like that??” I can’t even understand what mom is saying…

“She’ll be alright…” well… I hope…
