“That was ‘Virus’ from Beast.. Wow! I think it’s been awhile since you guys last sang that song! This was from your album ‘Fiction and Fact’, right?”. The boys were all going back to their seats after they sang their song, ‘Virus’ when the DJ asked them that question. Beast are now going live on a radio show which is a part of their schedule for today. “Dae.. Majayo.. It’s from our album ‘Fiction and Fact’.. One of our heartbreaking song in the album..”. Doojoon answered the DJ’s question. “Oh.. So, can you explain a bit of what the song is all about?”. The DJ gave another question to them. Everyone turned their attention to Junhyung as it was him who wrote that song. “Oh.. Looks like everyone’s looking at Junhyung now! Did you write this song Junhyung ssi?”. The DJ who noticed the boys’ reactions issued the question to Junhyung which made all of them laugh. “Dae.. Dae.. I’m the one who wrote that song together Nangee hyung and Beomee hyung.. It’s actually a song about a guy who can’t let go a girl even when the girl can’t even look at the guy anymore.. No matter how much the girl hates him or hurt him, he endured all the pain just because the girl is like a virus to him.. I’m sure everyone knows how a virus works right? No matter how bad the virus is and no matter how much pain it gives us, it’s still something that we have no choice but to endure.. So that’s how this song goes..”. Right after Junhyung explained the meaning of the song, he suddenly remembered that whatever that he says, fits exactly what Kikwang is facing now. Not only him, but all the other members looked at Kikwang to see if he’s okay and because it’s a live show and cameras are installed in the studio, Kikwang tried his best to control his expression by just nodding to whatever that Junhyung says. “Wahh! That’s a really heartbreaking song indeed! So, did any of you guys face that kind of situation before? “. The DJ who obviously doesn’t know anything decided to ask that question to the boys. Kikwang avoided that question by just keeping quiet. “I don’t think we’ve ever faced that kind of situation before and hopefully in the future too.. But even if we do, in my opinion though, if I really love her and know that she’s the one for me, I’ll be strong and endure just like how the song is and fight hard to get her back..”. Yoseob indirectly answered the DJ’s question and hoping that Kikwang will understand what he meant, too. “Dae majayo.. I think just like the song, I will be strong and face it all no matter how bad it’s gonna hurt because I know that it’s gonna be all worthwhile in the end..”. It’s Dongwoon’s turn to give some encouragement to his hyung by answering the DJ’s question. All of them nodded in agreement. “Ohh.. Yeokshi.. Beast are such gentlemen.. Wow! Geundaeyo, I gotta say that personally, I admire Kikwang ssi and Hyosung ssi.. You guys are together for how many, two years, right?”. Kikwang was a bit shocked when he heard not only his name but also Hyosung’s name being mentioned by the DJ. He quickly gave his attention to the DJ’s question. “Oh yeah.. Dae.. Ah, almost two years.. That’s right..”. Kikwang answered the DJ’s question. “Dae.. Dae.. Almost two years and not once did I ever heard of any gossips about the two of you.. I mean the two of you are idols who are both active with your own groups and you guys are still young and yet you guys have a really quiet relationship which I’m sure make things work easily for the both of you right?”. Kikwang cleared his throat to answer the DJ’s question. He tried to control his expression the best that he could. Hearing Hyosung’s name already made his heart hurt yet again but because he didn’t like to mix his personal problems with work, he put all that feelings aside. “Yeah.. I mean since the very first time that we decided to be in a relationship, we know what are the things that we have to face.. I mean we are still normal human beings who are in a relationship but the only different thing is that, people focus more on us because of our job and we’re just so mentally prepared for that that I think that made us be where we are now..”. Kikwang truthfully answered the DJ’s questions. The rest of s have their eyes still fixed on Kikwang just to make sure that he’s really okay. Kikwang gave a bitter smile to s and looked down. “Wow.. That’s really so inspiring.. I think not only to celebrities though, even to everyone out there, if you were to have the kind of thinking that Kikwang ssi have, I think you won’t be facing any kind of problems at all, right?”. The DJ agreed to Kikwang’s answer and asked the next question. “Well not really.. Like I say, we are normal human beings and we do have a clash of thinking or conflicts from time to time but it’s all about trust and that’s what Hyosung and I always worked on first.. I mean, it’s not fun to be in a relationship where it’s perfect all the time.. You gotta have that conflicts or problems from time to time to know how much trust you and your partner have on each other.. It hurts when you experience it but once you work it out together, it adds that spark in your relationship and you’ll realize how much closer you’ll get to each other after that..”. The studio was all silent when Kikwang answered the DJ’s question and unknowingly, all of them clapped their hands after Kikwang finished answering. They were all really impressed by Kikwang’s answer and eventhough he’s in that condition where he have yet to work things out with Hyosung, s knows now that the trust that he have for Hyosung is no joke. “Oh my god.. Kikwang ssi! That was very well said! You’ve no idea how touched I am by your answer! Wahh.. ”. The DJ applaud Kikwang once again.

Thirty minutes later..

Beast had successfully ended their live radio show and now they’re in the van to go to their next schedule for a fanmeeting. “Kikwang ah.. I’m proud of you..”. Doojoon pat Kikwang’s back. He was definitely proud and touched by Kikwang’s answer and how calmed he was just now. “Gomawo..”. That’s the only thing Kikwang said to Doojoon. Kikwang did not text or call Hyosung today because of what Hyosung texted him yesterday. He already told himself that if that is what Hyosung wants for now and if that is the only way to get Hyosung calm her thoughts down, by all means, he’ll respect Hyosung’s decision. It’s definitely hurting him so much to not hear anything from Hyosung and also because he can’t explain anything to Hyosung. The incident that happened in the morning just now came back to his mind. He was actually awakened by the noise that he heard from Junhyung and Dongwoon’s room. He is a light sleeper first of all and even the slightest noise could wake him up.

A few hours back..

Kikwang sat down on his bed and rubbed his eyes. He heard s’ voice talking and it’s definitely coming from Junhyung and Dongwoon’s room as their room is located right next to his and Doojoon’s room. He slowly walked out of the room and just when he was about to turn the door knob open, he heard Dongwoon says, “Geundaeyo hyung, shouldn’t we at least warn Hyosung noona about Joonie hyung?”. Kikwang was a bit puzzled by what he just heard. ‘Warn Hyosung about Joonie hyung? Whatever for’. Kikwang thought to himself. Without waiting any further, Kikwang turned the door knob and went in the room. “What is he planning to do Dongwoon ah?”. He saw s all froze the moment he went in but his attention is fixed on Dongwoon and waiting patiently for Dongwoon to answer his question. “Oh hyung! You woke up already? Did we make too much noise?”. Dongwoon is trying to change the subject but because this time, Kikwang already heard what he says, Kikwang didn’t answer his question and instead, he’s waiting for Dongwoon to answer his question. Dongwoon turned to look at his hyungs. They all nodded as a sign for Dongwoon to tell Kikwang the truth. Dongwoon took a deep breath and cleared his throat. “Hyung, I actually heard this with my own ears hyung so I hope you won’t accuse me of lying to you, okay?”. Dongwoon seek for Kikwang’s trust before he continued. Kikwang nodded his head and sat beside him. “I actually went to their agency the other day because Joonie hyung wanted to borrow some games from me and because I was free that day, I decided to go and meet him there. I was about to go in the practice room when I heard noises from the room and turns out, Joonie hyung and all the members were in the room and when I was about to turn the door knob, I heard Joonie hyung mentioning Hyosung noona’s name and so I decided to hear what he’s talking about. Turns out, he was saying something like he was so happy that Hyosung noona replied to his text and he say that he’s going to make a surprise visit to Hyosung noona at her practice room soon and because hyung will be in Japan so at least there won’t be any misunderstanding going on. Then he goes on about how he had feelings for Hyosung noona before this and all that.. That was all that I heard..”. Dongwoon looked at Kikwang’s expression. There is that mad and hurt expression on his face. “I apologize hyung if this news is hurting you.. I didn’t wanna tell you at first but looking at the situation now, I think it’s best if you know what’s going on so that you can warn Hyosung noona..”. The boys turned their attention to Kikwang when they heard his soft sigh. “Aniya Dongwoon ah.. Kumapta.. I’m glad that you at least tell me the truth on what you heard..”. Kikwang pat Dongwoon’s back. He was definitely thankful that he have s who will always be there for him. “So, aren’t you gonna tell Hyosung what happened?”. Hyunseung spoke up when he didn’t see any reaction from Kikwang. Kikwang shook his head. “It’s too late now..”. Kikwang told them. All of them were confused with what Kikwang said. “What do you mean too late? Yah, tell us what happened. Stop keeping everything to yourself..”. Yoseob who’s getting a bit impatient with Kikwang urged him to tell them what happen. “She texted me yesterday saying that she needs time to think all this through and she didn’t want to answer my calls for now so she was hoping that I can at least respect her decision on that..”. The boys went speechless. They felt really bad for Kikwang but they didn’t blame Hyosung either because they themselves will do what Hyosung did if they were in his kind of situation. For someone who didn’t know what actually happened, it’s best if Hyosung would take a step back to think all this through so as to not make things worse. People tend to make harsh decisions when they’re not calm and that’s definitely one of the things that the boys hope won’t happened to Kikwang or Hyosung. On the other hand though, they were definitely disappointed with Lee Joon for causing all this to happen. It’s true that they can’t blame Lee Joon too as they’ve yet to hear the other side of the story but until they do, they were hoping that both Kikwang and Hyosung will stay strong like how they’ve always been before this and things will work out fine in the end.
